KIDZ BOP Kids on Tour
There is no stopping the 21st century's most massive musical empire: KIDZ BOP. Since first being introduced in 2001, the self-proclaimed "No. 1 music brand for kids" has transformed pop music's greatest hits — even the most explicit of chart-toppers — into kid-friendly versions. It's proven to be a huge success, with multiple albums reaching No. 1 on the U.S. Kids charts nearly every year. Naturally, the KIDZ BOP franchise eventually grew beyond just recording albums to becoming a live performance force to be reckoned with.
After a nationwide talent search, the inaugural KIDZ BOP tour kicked off in 2007 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and hit up venues across the U.S. for more than six months. But it wasn't until seven years later that the brand took touring to a whole new level.
In 2014, the Dream Big, Sing Loud tour landed in more than 40 cities around the nation with the cast singing current hits by artists like Pharrell Williams, Ed Sheeran, and Katy Perry. This led to similar new tours each year, including 2015's Make Some Noise tour, 2016's Life of the Party tour, and 2017's Best Time Ever tour.
Also in 2017, KIDZ BOP expanded beyond the U.S., forming a cast of British KIDZ BOP Kids exclusively for the U.K. audience. But they also remained a hot ticket in the States, launching the KIDZ BOP Live 2018 Tour, followed by the KIDZ BOP World Tour in 2019.
Of course, each year features new performers, new songs, and new choreography. During these tours, the Kids perform more than 50 live shows each year. The seven-kid cast is chosen through a nationwide casting call that picks young talents to sing on the KIDZ BOP albums, star in their music videos, and travel North America as part of the KIDZ BOP Kids live tours. These kids are all multi-talent threats (some even have Broadway credits already to their name) and may just be future pop stars themselves.
Too much bass. Could not hear singers over music. What else can I say.
Suprisingly short event. Decorations, effects mediocore. No support dancers. Some high school musicals have more "wow" in them. Just not worth the money.
My daughter and I were so excited about the KidzBop concert. It started late, the sound was so loud and distorted that we were holding our hands over our ears after the first song. After 15 musical moments of misery, we had to leave at my daughters insistence. In the hall were others trying to find ear plugs.
I took my 8 yr old granddaughter to her first concert and this was it!! she loved it. I just wish it was a little longer, or at least an encore . but overall so awesome for the age group. I would do it again
Dancing was awesome. Before the show started, two children in front of us stood up with cameras in hand. I asked the grandfather if he could have them sit, he said they only wanted to take pics of the group coming on stage. Of course, they continued to stand after they took the pics. I waited and asked politely again. He responded, none of us can see and we all have to stand. No one came over to intervene. It was quite obvious. Not willing to spoil it for my daughter, we walked closer to the front and stood for the remainder. Common courtesy no longer exists. If we both paid to see the same show, have some respect. Where are the ushers to prevent this from occurring?
The kids were very talented and entertaining, fun upbeat set list
They were amazing!!! Very entertaining and really good! You can tell they put their heart and soul into the show! Plus we got to meet one of the kids after the show and got an autograph and picture! Very nice!
We had so much fun! Highly recommend this to any age
My daughter is 5 and had a wonderful time at this concert ..She danced the whole time .My only wish is that they would have but a little more space for the kids to dance .A lot of parents stood up so their kids could dance making it impossible to see the stage other then on the screen and we were only 6 rows from the stage.
It was a great show. My four year old danced to almost every song. My two year old had her favs as well. It was a great night with the exception of the 90 dollars spent on two shirts & two light-up glasses!
Was a really fun time! I may have had more fun than my 9 yr old ;)
Kids really liked it, the adults were also into it .
Great show for the kiddos. My 8 year olds really had fun. Kidz bop really got the kids hyped up and did an amazing performance.
The kidzbop kids were adorable! Cute songs & dances! They really performed live & were super fun!! The venue (and our seats) were not great but my kids didn't care!
This was my kids first concert and they had a blast. I think all of the kids were a little overwhelmed for the first half of the show, but after the intermission they had all the kids up and dancing.
Real good time. My daughter loved it. Was surprised with the length of the concert. 1.5 hours
Good show! Kids loved it and had a great time! Wish there was an encore.
Very short concert. Not very engaging. I don't think the kids were really singing. Darien Lake is a terrible venue as well. Parking is crazy, and the auditorium is mediocre at best. If you're not in the first 10 rows, you may as well stay home and listen to cds.
Good singing, not a very exciting performance. Lights, back up dancers would have been nice
Concert was to start at 3pm. It started at 3:15, they played for about 40 minutes then took a break of approximately 25 minutes. They returned and played for about 30 more minutes. So, their total time on stage was just over an hour. At $240 for 4 people, I found that unacceptable. Would not recommend.
