KIDZ BOP Kids on Tour
There is no stopping the 21st century's most massive musical empire: KIDZ BOP. Since first being introduced in 2001, the self-proclaimed "No. 1 music brand for kids" has transformed pop music's greatest hits — even the most explicit of chart-toppers — into kid-friendly versions. It's proven to be a huge success, with multiple albums reaching No. 1 on the U.S. Kids charts nearly every year. Naturally, the KIDZ BOP franchise eventually grew beyond just recording albums to becoming a live performance force to be reckoned with.
After a nationwide talent search, the inaugural KIDZ BOP tour kicked off in 2007 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and hit up venues across the U.S. for more than six months. But it wasn't until seven years later that the brand took touring to a whole new level.
In 2014, the Dream Big, Sing Loud tour landed in more than 40 cities around the nation with the cast singing current hits by artists like Pharrell Williams, Ed Sheeran, and Katy Perry. This led to similar new tours each year, including 2015's Make Some Noise tour, 2016's Life of the Party tour, and 2017's Best Time Ever tour.
Also in 2017, KIDZ BOP expanded beyond the U.S., forming a cast of British KIDZ BOP Kids exclusively for the U.K. audience. But they also remained a hot ticket in the States, launching the KIDZ BOP Live 2018 Tour, followed by the KIDZ BOP World Tour in 2019.
Of course, each year features new performers, new songs, and new choreography. During these tours, the Kids perform more than 50 live shows each year. The seven-kid cast is chosen through a nationwide casting call that picks young talents to sing on the KIDZ BOP albums, star in their music videos, and travel North America as part of the KIDZ BOP Kids live tours. These kids are all multi-talent threats (some even have Broadway credits already to their name) and may just be future pop stars themselves.
What a great show! The performers were excellent! They had amazing talent and energy, and they had the entire audience up and dancing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From the charming welcome by Peter, one of the KidzBop kids, to the fast paced choreography and all the laughs along the way, this was the perfect first concert experience for my six year old! Thank you, thank you!!! 100% recommending this to all the moms who want to gift their kid a night they both won't forget!
I felt they were not really singing and their songs were piped in. The dancing was very repetitive. It was also too long for middle of the week.
The show didn’t have as many songs as we’d have hoped. More talking about the si gets than actual performing. The lights really bothered my son too
Had a great time, not overly packed and easy to get in and navigate
Only complaint is that consessions lines where very long and the venue was only about 1/2 full
This was our 2nd Kidz Bop concert. My 5 and 2 year old had a blast, and that’s all that matters to me.
My 8 year old girls absolutely loved this show. They danced the entire time. I think the performers could definitely improve on the lip-syncing abilities (especially in the videos they show) but my kids didn't notice so it was fine.
The songs were fun and my daughter had a blast. I just thought that it would be more of a “show”. There were only 4 kids on stage the entire time. I expected there to be a lot more. Wasn’t worth the price.
Way more fun than I thought it would be. My daughter (5) absolutely had a blast. The lights can be a little overwhelming but besides that solid show for the price.
I pressed best available seat and we ended up with one that was obstructed and was not labeled obstructed and we didn’t pay for an obstructed view when I contacted Ticketmaster they said that wasn’t their problem. So I paid full price for an obstructed view.l for my daughters first concert
Being your kids. You won't regret it. You probably won't enjoy it, but your kids will. Yes, they lip sync but your kids won't know. They dance for almost 90 minutes, have a dads dance off, throw out beach balls and t shirts
Title: A Disastrous Evening at the KIDZ Bop Concert I recently attended a KIDZ Bop concert and it pains me to say it was a complete disappointment. The sound quality was abysmal; it was as if they'd forgotten to do a soundcheck. The music was muffled and distorted, making it nearly impossible to enjoy the performance. To add insult to injury, the stage was shockingly bare. It felt like they'd forgotten to bring along any props or set pieces. The lack of visual elements left the audience feeling disconnected and bored, a far cry from what one expects at a concert aimed at entertaining kids. But the biggest letdown was undoubtedly the performers themselves. It was painfully obvious that they were lip-syncing their way through the show. Their movements were out of sync with the playback, making it painfully obvious that we were witnessing a lackluster performance. I couldn't help but feel like I'd wasted my time and money on what should have been an enjoyable outing for my kids. The KIDZ Bop concert left me with a sour taste in my mouth and a strong desire for a refund. It's a shame, because with the right effort and attention to detail, it could have been a memorable experience for all involved.
Always love paying for a concert of lip syncing. Kids had fun dancing, but they knew it wasn’t real and were disappointed.
Everyone was expecting a lot more. No props, boring stage, 4 kids dancing, terrible sound The dancers were great there were just not enough of them and the show itself lacked magic
Super fun for kids, they love it , my kids have 6 years old, and she really enjoy it
Kids and adults were dancing in the aisles It was non stop fun And the actors/actresses were very impressive
My daughters dream was to do a meet n greet for Kidz bop. She has Autism and this was her birthday gift. She was dancing, singing, smiling. Just to see her engaging and participating for the dance party made me so happy. I myself enjoyed all of the performances. I knew all the songs. We both enjoyed it so much. Never a dull moment. Entertaining to the end!!!
There were only 4 performers the entire time. For the price, I would think there would be more.
We took our 7yr old twins and 4yr old. They all enjoyed. The 4yr old said it was the best day ever. The 7yr old girl said she never wanted it to end. Money well spent.
