Khruangbin is a three-piece band from Houston, Texas, formed in 2009 with Laura Lee on bass, Mark Speer on guitar and Donald Johnson on drums. Taking influence from 1960's Thai funk - their name literally translates to "Engine Fly" in Thai - Khruangbin is steeped in the bass heavy, psychedelic sound of their inspiration, Tarantino soundtracks and surf-rock cool. By the summer of 2019, the trio had been on tour for nearly three-and-a-half years, playing to audiences across North and South America, Europe, and southeast Asia behind its acclaimed albums The Universe Smiles Upon You, Con Todo El Mundo, and Mordechai. Garnering glowing praise from The New York Times, W Magazine, Billboard, The Los Angeles Times, The FADER, Khruangbin released their very first remix album, Mordechai Remixes, on Dead Oceans, in association with Night Time Stories, Ltd in 2021. Each remixer on Mordechai Remixes has a musical or cosmic connection to Khruangbin and remixers included Kadhja Bonet, Ginger Root, Knxwledge, Natasha Diggs, Soul Clap, Quantic, Felix Dickinson, Ron Trent, Mang Dynasty, Harvey Sutherland. Khruangbin worked with Grammy-winning R&B singer/songwriter Leon Bridges, from Ft. Worth, for two groundbreaking collaborative EPs, Texas Sun & Texas Moon. Further extending the lone star state's sonic possibilities, the sister EPs pensively examines Texas' musical perception, while paying homage to the marriage of country and R&B that's become synonymous with the region.

Both Khruangbin and men I trust gave an amazing performance at Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine. The lights and sound was incredible and I would definitely see them again. Do yourself a favor and check out this band.
Khruangbin was incredible. Men I Trust was incredible. I do not like standing on sand for the concert as it made my knees hurt.
Sitting at the ArtPark was a very chilled location to see Khruangbin. the music and scene was impressive! All in all its a great spot and wonderful location to top off a great concert!
What an amazing location for a truly magnificent show! Khruangbin were awesome and the location was amazing - what a backdrop!
Artpark is a great venue, inviting, not huge, the bowl has a great view of the stage for all. Khruangbin is an amazing live show! What great music it is ...all from three people. First time seeing them, first time at Artpark. The crowd was very fun, warm, happy, and hippy. Guitar driven, with a strong drummer...this music really flows. You feel it in your body! Will easily find this band again and be present for another great time!
A+ show. These guys are really good. Def want to see them a few times.
This was my 2nd time seeing them this year, and they are always energetic and professional with their sets. Men I Trust opened and were REALLY good. They earned a ton of new fans after their performance here. Khruangbin came on and immediately turned it up to 11. Such great music and a lively crowd makes for an excellent experience. I highly recommend checking these guys out if you have a chance.
Great atmosphere to go along with the atmospheric sound of Khruangbin. Wasn’t sure what to expect but the show was fantastic and had me grooving all night long!
This concert was amazing!!! The outdoor venue felt like a perfect fit for the music. The talent and stamina of these individuals was just mind blowing. They played a diverse and well thought out set. Plenty of dancing and vibing, great flow throughout. Highly recommend seeing Khruangbin whenever the opportunity presents itself. I want to see them again myself!
Just an amazingly fun time. The vibes were immaculate, the performance and energy from the band was infectious, the crowd was so enjoyable.
Wonderful show, great stage presence ans audience engagement. Wish I could go on tour !!!!
One of the best shows I've ever seen. Legit rock stars. Far exceeded my expectations. So original but also mixed in fun covers. Super talented musicians with great style.
Awesome show, but very crowded and if you didn't stake your claim early, you were probably standing somewhere.
Got good ticket deal online...We drove cross country for the concert...Concert location was the best...We were the oldest there...haha...We are Khruangbin fans...On now to the Sawtooths!!!
My daughter and me went to the Greek Theater in Berkeley CA to see Khruangbin and had a most wonderful evening. The band and performance were remarkable. We will see this exceptional trio of musicians ANYTIME they are near us. Do yourself a favor and check them out. I have been rocking on this planet for 51 years and have seen all the beat rock bands. This was one of my favorite shows.
Khrungbin played like they love their craft and played they're ass off!
A beautiful show & a beautiful venue! Definitely will attend another show at the Greek Theater!!
Khruangbin was a treat to see, they performed well and their showmanship was fun and entertaining. The venue was great, line for concessions werent to long, the staff was friendly and help, the restrooms were well maintained and the seating made it so every person had a great line of site to the performance.
The concert was amazing, the vibes were immaculate.
