    Better when you're drunk

by TitanFall14 on 4/8/14Shrine Auditorium - Los Angeles

Bottom line is that it was just okay. Most of the comics were drunk or high when performing and couldn't remember their jokes. Luckily they had notes. No bar on balcony level when there was plenty of room for one was a bit of a buzzkill. Sound was a bit off. Sounded like the treble was turned way up. As long as you get nice a drunk before the show starts, you won't notice any of it's faults. So drink up.

Love Kevin and Bean, but this was a bust

by freddias on 4/7/14The Shrine Auditorium - Los Angeles

I was really looking forward to this event, but was disappointed. I think the biggest problem was time. The tickets said that doors open at 6 p.m. We didn't get to our seats until around 6:50, because parking in the area was such a nightmare and I was worried we would miss most of the show. I was sooooo wrong. The event didn't start until around 8:15. There were some people totally trashed by this time. It started with a bunch of videos - funny, but I could have watched them from home and considering there were only 2 side TV screens, my neck hurt from turning towards it. Then, DJ Mike Realm did his part. That was by far the worst part of the show. It added NOTHING to the show and was annoying as hell. If I wanted to hear electronic or techno music, I would have gone to a club. A couple of his things were mildly amusing, but went on so long they completely lost any amusement they might have brought. Patton Oswald was the first comedian and after the videos and DJ Mike Realm, it was around 8:45 when he took the stage. He was funny, but the sound was a bit off and whenever he yelled something, it was excruciating (this seemed to be a problem for everyone). After that was Reggie Watts. If you have the chance to see him; DON'T! He had maybe one funny joke. He was hard to look at and harder to hear. It almost seemed like a drunk slob came up to the stage and they gave him the mike. Taylor Williamson followed and he was the best that we saw. Just hilarious. Jim Jeffries was next. We had just seen him the week before and so all his material was a repeat, so it was at this point that we decided to leave (it was not because he wasn't funny - he is someone you should definitely go see if you have the chance, really, really funny). At this time, it was 9:45, and Jim Jeffries still had a lot of time left. I figure the show probably went on for another 45 minutes to an hour after that. Had it not started so late, we might have stuck around, but enough was enough and I kind of had a headache from DJ Mike Realm's nonsense. I was also starving. Not worth it to stick around. They could have easily started an hour earlier with the stupid videos and the DJ, but didn't. I kinda wished we stayed home, then I wouldn't be so disappointed.

Great show. I have been to ALL of them. I have to say I miss the KROQ jocks and their flavor this year. I wanted more. I prefer the house band to the DJ, although he was entertaining. Bard Williams was entertaining and hilarious. Jay More was funny, new material.

Brad stole show of course but EVERYONE was a hit. Doug Benson, Jay Mohr, Bill Bur...sick. Had us all laughing the whole time. Only issue was they brought the armenian comedian first to open....HORRIBLE. MC/DJ Mike Relm was sick. Never knew you could do such sick remixes of VIDEOS!!!

    Jay More and more Burr!

by Zuma777 on 4/8/13Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk - Universal City

Pretty good show. I was just dissappointed that each guy only got 15 minutes. Especially concerning Jay Mohr and Bill Burr. They were both just getting rolling when they had to shut it down. Maybe do less comedians and give them more time?

Most fun I've had in months!!!

by Tavo076 on 4/8/13Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk - Universal City

This is one of the best nights I've had in a very long time. I can't remember when was the last time I laughed so hard. Everyone of the comics, with the exception of the Armenian comedian, killed! I look forward to going to this event every year from now on.

Brad Williams Rocks....the rest sorta sucked.

by a54f100 on 4/8/13Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk - Universal City

as the title says, Brad Williams brought the house to a standing ovation as we laughed till we had tears coming down. Everyone else in the line up except may Ari, did a half assed job. Oh well, expected more but at least I got to see a rockin little person.

    Hilarious! Really good time

by OKay34 on 4/8/13Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk - Universal City

I was definitely in need of a good laugh and the comedians at Kevin & Bean's April Foolishness did not disappoint. All of them did a great job keeping the vibe funny, good spirited and not over-the-top offensive. Brad Williams had me in stitches. I laughed till I cried and got a great abdominal workout.

One of the best April Foolishness

by jwlz on 4/8/13Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk - Universal City

This was my third time, and I have to say this was the best. I paid the extra to be part of the "How You Like Me Now" group. Wow, what a great investment. I was able to meet and speak to Keven, Bean, Ralph, Lisa and Beer Mug. Each one was very friendly and really nice. At no time did I feel like they were just doing their job. They all came across very humble and had no problem having a conversation.

    KROQ's Kevin & Bean's April Foolishness 2013

by Chuchita on 4/8/13Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk - Universal City

It was a good show, but nothing compare to last years line up. All I can say, the profits go to charity, so no complains.

    Excellent night out

by KBRSuperfan on 4/8/13Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk - Universal City

I have been dieing to go to this show ever since it first started 4 years ago. Finally everything was in line and I got tickets. Still wondering how to get the VIP because I searched the exact minute the tickets came online to find none available. Enjoyed every single moment, even the Armenian comedian bombing on stage. It was fun to heckle him. The only thing I wish could have been done would be a meet and greet with the Kevin and Bean Cast, but other than that great time. P.S. Fire Beer Mug.

    Amazing

by dontbogartthatjoint on 4/8/13Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk - Universal City

Amazing show. A comedy show filled with headliners for cheaper than you can go see just one of them at a normal club...what's not to like? Every one of these comedians is great, and kevin and bean did a great job of lining them up so that the night got funnier and funnier. Timing was awesome too. Every comedian is sort of forced to get to the meat of their bit quickly. They don't have to fill up the night like they do at a normal club. They all bring their A game to play to a crowd that big also. My only complaint is that the night sort of fizzled out. Bill burr finished his set and that was sort of it. Mike Realm played everyone out from the DJ booth, but no announcement saying thanks for coming, or anything like that. Not a big deal, but the show intro was great and it was obvious that the end was not as well organized as the beginning.
