Frontier Comedy is thrilled to confirm a debut tour of Australia from funnyman and actor David Koechner this July!

Questions were different to what we were expecting, so we didn't do a well as we thought we would but it was so much fun.
Opening act was funny and did his job. Headliner seemed to be phoning it in or trying out some new material. Left about 30 mins in to show. Crowd was heckling throughout so was not enjoyable.
Was a funny show! Thought he might be High 😁 in the beginning but settled down to be outright funny and dealt with audience interaction very well. Ha ha very cool
With the headliner being a big name actor/comedian and having been to several comedy shows in the past, I was expecting a Much better performance. David was funny, but the jokes were just too damn long. Any great comedy show I've been to, the performers keep the jokes short and sweet and hilarious, and then keep it moving. David told maybe a total of 6 or 7 jokes, more than half of which were roughly 20 minute long stories. Me being the type who loves comedy shows, I stuck with it hoping for some big laughs, but they just didn't come. I would say his show was average, and what I liked best about his performance was that he was using real life experiences (about his wife & kids) to drive the play home. I think what the rest of the crowd enjoyed the most was quoting his own movie lines. Yeah, it's cute and funny for a second, but if I wanted to hear all of the lines from Anchorman or Out Cold, I would have stayed home and watched the movies. Some members of the crowd were pretty annoying, to be quite honest. Also, his opener was awkward. Very awkward. The opener was a smaller-status comedian that was part of David's crew (he joined in for the last of David's story-jokes), but he was either too nervous or too drunk to even finish some of his jokes. Overall, the 2-for-1 ticket deal was the best part of my purchase because I would have been even less impressed if I paid full price for each ticket to see an average comedy show.
David was an engaging performer, though the show was shorter and more informal than I expected.
We all saw anchorman, and he did a few line from it, but for the most part it was material of his i never heard before. some may have been from some other movies he was in... not a fan of singing comedian, and probably last 1/8th of show he went into a little song.. Overall show was good, venue cramped fold up chairs but easy to get to.
Loved the show and would definitely see him again. He was hysterical! Highly recommend going if you get the chance.
He was hilarious. He interacted with the audience, did routines from various characters of the past. Great.
My wife and I went to see Dave koechner at the Wilbur theater in Boston with another couple we are close with. It was a night we will all remember forever. I was already a big fan of the characters he plays in movies as well as on his YouTube channel "full on koechner" so I knew I'd probably enjoy his standup show- well I did- we all did- in fact it exceeded my expectation!! The opening act he had with him was very good and got the crowd warmed up. Then came Dave K. Oh.my.god. I did not stop laughing the entire time! From the very beginning he was hysterical and I knew we were in for a great night. His approach was very organic. It was conversational.like we were all at the same party with the funniest guy around. There was a lot of crowd interaction as he performed new material from his show with just the right amount of references and quotes from his classic movie and tv characters. There was a strong emphasis on family, relationships, and parenting, and you could just tell that everyone was relating to what he was putting out there. The show was nice and long but you just did not want it to ever end. If you get a chance to go see this guy do not miss it! We were actually fortunate enough to meet him after the show and he was the coolest guy!! He was so personable and down to earth. He came off as just a regular guy who took the time to make sure everyone who wanted a photo or an autograph got one. He made everyone's night special and rememberable. A class act. I can't wait to see him again!!
The show was a hoot, loved it - a little crazy midway, but still great.
