About

Zoltan Kaszas is an award-winning stand-up comedian known for his sharp, observational humor and love of cats. Born in Hungary, Zoltan and his mother immigrated to the United States in 1991, first settling in Pittsburgh before moving to the trailer parks of San Diego.

Kaszas, who The Atlantic called a "breakout star," has been featured on several SiriusXM comedy channels, Laughs on Fox, commercials from Manscaped, Netflix Is a Joke radio & festival, has had hit Dry Bar comedy specials "Cat Jokes" and "Average Intelligence," as well as headlined comedy clubs and theaters across the country. He won the Seattle International Comedy competition, a month-long event held in Washington state. Kaszas also spent a month in Edinburgh, Scotland at the Fringe Festival. • Zoltan rocks!

by EastBay68 on 11/18/25Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

Zoltan was fabulous as expected - as was his opening act (whose name I unfortunately don’t recall). And I loved that he did a meet & greet between shows! That takes huge professionalism on his part, considering he had a whole other show to do. The only slight disappointment was that I’d already heard about 50-60% of his material that night via YouTube. But I guess that’s the inherent issue with 21st century standup comedy… There are some issues with the venue - Punch Line San Francisco. It’s hard to find/access, because Embarcadero Center is kind of a maze, where everything looks the same, and signage is inadequate. And I’m a Bay Area local who used to visit the venue a lot in the 90s. Also, the parking garage directly underneath the venue closes early on weekends, at 7pm, and it’s hard to locate the pedestrian entrance to get to your car and exit. Eventually we found it, after initially panicking that our car would be locked up overnight.

  • Absolutely brilliant!

Zoltan Kaszas is both a brilliant comedy writer and a man with the rare, rare gift of being able to say things funny, as opposed to just being able to say funny things. He had the room alive with laughter when describing nothing more than his experience that day walking through a park. Nothing particular had happened, but, as he spoke, the way his eyes darted around the room in wonderment as he remembered taking in the people, animals, and branching pathways, you could see the park the way Zoltan had seen the park, and the way Zoltan sees a park, a tree, a flower, the world, is very, very funny. Check out some of his short YouTube videos, shot at clubs all over. He always opens with 10 or 15 minutes of brand new material based on his experiences after just arriving in each town. Each clip is brilliant! And then there's the rest of his hour. Polished, professional, as good as any of the greats working today. Our impression, having watched just about every YouTube he's made, is that he has several hours of material he can draw on to assemble a show, dropping in bits depending on how the audience is responding, again a sign he is one of the greats. And he knows how to build, sometimes getting to the point where breathing becomes a problem because you're laughing so loud, you know, like when you were a kid? That is also a sign you're in the presence of one of the greats. Finally, Zoltan's comedy is apolitical and clean. He doesn't announce a stand against either of those, he just fails to get around to discussing either one. It's only later that you realize neither was mentioned. Rather refreshing. Highly recommended.

by Splashash on 4/22/25Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Zoltan kills me. He’s so relatable and one of my favorite comedians! And the Seattle brew co that had ciders there was delicious! The first opener for Zoltan was funny too though I didn’t care for the second opener. Too dirty for my taste.

I have been watching clips of Zoltan for years now. So glad I could go see him in person. He was so funny we laughed the entire time. The crowd went wild when he came on stage and it was such a fun night. They were even taping this show for a special which made it more exciting. Just love his sense of humor and his delivery.

Zoltan is absolutely hilarious. Saw him at the Neptune Theater in Seattle on Saturday night. I have always been happy after his shows, but a little sad when it’s over. I see him every time he’s in Wa! He’s really relatable, anyone would have a great time!
