Guitar god Kenny Wayne Shepherd is one of the fiercest young axmen of his generation, and he continues to blow audiences away every time he takes the stage. The self-taught virtuoso is a sight to behold in concert, where his furious fingers and flailing blonde locks serve as the perfect counterpoint to the precision and ease of his razor-sharp riffs. Whether he's playing bluesy originals from 2014's Goin' Home or covering legends like Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix, Shepherd always treats fans to electrifying performances that are as heavy on pure gusto as they are on musical chops.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Shreveport, Louisiana-born Kenny Wayne Shepherd got his first guitar in early childhood and began learning the instrument with a unique self-taught method. He was quickly recognized as a guitar prodigy, and at age 13 he was invited to play on stage with blues icon Bryan Lee. His first performance at the Red River Revel Arts Festival in Shreveport attracted the eye of label execs, and before long Shepherd had signed a multiple record deal with Giant Records. His 1995 debut album Leadbetter Heights topped the blues chart, a feat he repeated with five subsequent albums including his 1997 sophomore album Trouble Is... -- the longest-running album on the Billboard Blues Chart in history. In 2014 Shepherd released his seventh studio album Goin' Home, another chart-topper that has fans eagerly awaiting his next must-see series of tour dates.

Saw him at the Hendrix tribute 8 years ago. Blew us away!! Stole the show. Seen him 6 times since and he keeps getting better and better. Great live band. Great all the way around. Noah the singer has a set of pipes on him that can kill. Highly advise to see for a great time. Thank you.
This was my first time seeing KWS and it was great! He started on time and put on an amazing show. The staff at MGM were friendly and helpful. I also dined at Kosar's at MGM and the food was delicious.
This was a great venue to see a show. Security was efficient and quick. First time seeing Kenny Wayne Shepherd and he was awesome. If you like bluesy rock this is a show you don't want to miss!!
Was very pleased with the venue. Smooth sailing all the way. Kenny was awesome and his band was very tight. Hopefully they will return and other blues performers will be booked in the coming months

I have seen many shows over the years (JFK, Spectrum, bethel woods, Etc., Etc.) and to see a standing ovation from everyone, should tell you that Kenny Wayne Shepherd and team present a wonderful show. It was great to listen to a group of true musicians. When one member was jamming the others were feeding off of that. Truly a band you must put on your bucket list.
Stellar!! I don't know how each show is better than the last but it sure was. Playing the full album of Trouble Is, and another set was incredible. As always, the musicianship is impeccable and another level of magic is delivered on the stage. To watch Kenny work the guitar, play the guitar, is the best. It is an extension of his hand. The music touches my soul. This was my 9th show and i am ready for 9 more! We are sure lucky to have the gift of music that this band gives us!!!!! 10 stars. 100 stars :)

We had a great time at the KWS concert at Wind Creek. I've seen Kenny many times but never heard him sing or speak to the crowd as much as he did. The sound engineer missed a good show but the band was tight and the venue is terrific.
We saw Kenny Wade Shepard on April 1,2023 @ Wind Creek , he and his band put one hell of a show, and working with Ticketmaster. Com was great as well !

The Band was very tight. Professionals playing together and having fun while doing it. Kenny Wayne is simply a fantastic guitar player, and down to earth so it is a pleasure to hear people who speak to the audience in such a friendly manor. Making you truly feel appreciated. As for the music, it speaks for itself, some outstanding songs, some outstanding guitar leads, and still plays the blues as well as any blues player I have seen. Great Concert!
Kenny and the band give it their all and beyond. Kenny is one of the great guitar players of our time. He is a master. The whole band was perfectly in sync and showed their joy in playing to the audience. This is my 2rd time seeng them and there will be a third. A A totally enjoyable concert from start to finish.
Show was awesome. KWS band always puts on a great show. Borgata’s Music Box is the best venue I’ve been to without question. Seats are comfortable and give you plenty of space to actually enjoy your show. There’s literally not a bad seat in the house. Any time Kenny Wayne is in town, I’m there. Likewise for any of my favorite artists coming to the Music Box
Kenny Wayne Shepherd band was just on fire Friday night in Atlantic City. They put in a stellar 2 hour show playing 17 songs. Not only great musicians but Kenny, Noah and the guys all seem like really nice guys, very appreciative of the audiences support.
