KENNY WAYNE SHEPHERD IN CONCERT:
Guitar god Kenny Wayne Shepherd is one of the fiercest young axmen of his generation, and he continues to blow audiences away every time he takes the stage. The self-taught virtuoso is a sight to behold in concert, where his furious fingers and flailing blonde locks serve as the perfect counterpoint to the precision and ease of his razor-sharp riffs. Whether he's playing bluesy originals from 2014's Goin' Home or covering legends like Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix, Shepherd always treats fans to electrifying performances that are as heavy on pure gusto as they are on musical chops.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Shreveport, Louisiana-born Kenny Wayne Shepherd got his first guitar in early childhood and began learning the instrument with a unique self-taught method. He was quickly recognized as a guitar prodigy, and at age 13 he was invited to play on stage with blues icon Bryan Lee. His first performance at the Red River Revel Arts Festival in Shreveport attracted the eye of label execs, and before long Shepherd had signed a multiple record deal with Giant Records. His 1995 debut album Leadbetter Heights topped the blues chart, a feat he repeated with five subsequent albums including his 1997 sophomore album Trouble Is... -- the longest-running album on the Billboard Blues Chart in history. In 2014 Shepherd released his seventh studio album Goin' Home, another chart-topper that has fans eagerly awaiting his next must-see series of tour dates.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Kenny Wayne Shepherd and his band rocked the blues. What great musicians. His closing act of Jimmy Hendrix's 'Voodoo Child' was awesome."

Great show and all in our party thought so as well. Came out hitting it hard and kept it up playing songs from his early albums.
This was my first time at The Factory and it did not disappoint. I’m 5’2 and have difficulty seeing the stage in almost every venue but not here, I was in the front row of the second balcony and although when the man in the section across the walking aisle in front of me stood up I had to stand too I could still see the stage because of the stadium style seating. Kenny Wayne Shepherd was AMAZING! Please bring him back every year!
Great venue, free parking, easy in and out. Nice bar area with seating while you wait. Great seats, comfortable chairs, everything about this show was awesome. Probably the best guitar player I've ever seen.
This was a fabulous concert and the The Factory Chesterfield is our favorite venue!
Second time I have seen him and it was better than the first time! Incredible show!
I’ve been to several concerts and this was my favorite. The band is great and KWS is nothing short of amazing.
Saw KWS at Pops 25 years ago. He still puts on a great show…
Ample parking with easy access to the highway. KWS was excellent and amazing! The sound wasn’t too loud, but loud enough to hear. I would have liked a monitor with close ups, but it wasn’t necessary. Just a personal preference.
Best concert I’ve seen in a long while! KWS was absolutely amazing! He plays guitar like he’s possessed! What a talent! His band is awesome! Can’t wait to go to another concert!
I’ve followed Kenny’s career and music since we were both teenagers, but this was the first time I’d been able to see him in concert…Almost 30 years I waited,..and it was WORTH IT! Kenny has some of the fastest hands I’ve ever seen and is so eerily reminiscent of SRV in the way he performs. His opener, King Solomon Hicks, was fantastic, as well! This was the perfect venue to see him live and his show was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Great concert for blues guitar officiandos, but a little less so for the mainstream. Very gifted. Not sorry I went.
Kenny, Noah and the boys were in great form. They rocked us all night long. Crowd was small (too bad). Also I am really disappointed in the crowd. When Kenny and Noah gave Dayton a chance to shine singing Blue on Black, no one except for the crowd up high ( which my wife and I were part of) knew the words. The crowd down below fell silent. What a shame, shame, shame. I give Kenny and the boys a high 5. I give the crowd a shameful 2
Probably one of the best concerts. I’ve been to in a couple of years… Kenny Wayne Shepherd just keeps getting better and better. I will see him again every chance I get.
Incredible talent!! Amazing show!! I’ll attend next years event!!
Kenny Wayne Shepard and friends, what could be better except front row dead center seat. Was well worth the price and will see them again next year when he rolls thru.

They all came out at the end of the show for a JAM.SUPPER GREAT TIME AND FUN. THANKS .
Our first blues concert and we thoroughly enjoyed the show
Always a great show from KWS. King Solomon Hicks is a new favorite, classic blues. Excited to see who comes along with him next trip.
Both openers were great. Lots of energy. Helped get the crowd going for KWS. Loved his set. The best part was the final encore when everyone came out and played together.
King Solomon was excellent blues. Kenny and Eric ate the crowd up. High energy, ripping guitars and great songs.
