The crispness of Keiko's band and music was impressive. Nothing bland ever and every piece was beautiful and exciting. Top that off with her little personable stories before most every song, and it was an event not to miss.

First time seeing Keiko and she didn't disappoint. The venue was intimate and she was awesome. Her piano playing was fantastic and her stories were fun and personable. Plus, Paul Taylor came out at the end and surprised everyone. What a treat. Will see her again for sure!
The concert was really good but I was surprised it only lasted about 1:10 minutes. This was the shortest concert I have been too. I am glad I didn't pay for tickets up front. However, it was a good concert and well done all around. I would go again, but not pay for premium seats as it sounds just as good in the back as it does up front.

You'll be tempted to sit down front, but sit back and to the left so you can watch her amazing keyboard work.

It was a very warm and intimate experience with the way Keiko shared different events with us of the people in her life, professionally and personally. I always enjoy it when artists find different ways of reaching out and connecting with the audience. The way she blended her music with that of Jakiem Joyner and the band was wonderful. To come the Gem Theater and to feel completely safe was a blessing. After growing up in the KC area and coming back to one of my old stomping grounds to see the wonderful work that has been to refurbish the area was very comforting to see that there was something of value to the community that they felt was worth holding on to.

The last time she was in town was 20 years ago at Johnson Community College and I missed it. How was I to know KC was going to lose its Smooth jazz station and stop getting acts for so long. I was planning to make a trip somewhere this year to see her no matter what, but was so glad she decided to come back. I think I bought the first tickets and was able to sit in the front row. She was everything I thought she would be and a memory for a life time.

Every time Keiko Matsui comes to NYC she puts on a wonderful show. Also for her to sit in the entrance to BB Kings, in the cold, signing autographs and taking pictures with her fans is AWESOME. She is the best and I'm in love with her.
She played beautifully and kept the audience engaged.

I have loved Keiko's music for years and this was my first time seeing her perform Live. Extraordinary is an understatement not only as far as her music, energy, and skills on stage, but also her personality... The Perfect Venue & The Perfect Performer, I hope that she will be back soon!!
Keiko Matsui put on an "Outstanding" show! Didn't expect anything less. I 've traveled on the Dave Koz Cruise for the past 4-5 years, and have had the oppportunity to meet Keiko Matsui many times as well as get photos with her. She is amazing! Her performances are always excellent! Look forward to seeing her again as I travel to various Jazz Festivals across the country.
Keiko Matsui is always great! I have been to 10-12 of her performances and this was one of the best! She always pleases and connects with the audience.
My husband and I had an amazing time! Keiko was very engaging and personable. I would recommend anyone who have never seen her in concert to do so.

The concert was just perfect-would have preferred it to start on time at 7:30 to make a more thorough show; but otherwise it was outstanding.
