The kids loved it and had so much fun. But The lines for everything were way too long, they should have sessions with a limited amount of people allow for each session, we spent more time in line than anything else. The Jurassic staff that were checking people out at the merchandise store were standing around and had no urgency to check people out quickly when that was the longest line out of everything. Very frustrating.

Jurassic Quest Saturday show
by WoW8201 on 4/17/18Alerus Center - Grand ForksRating: 2 out of 5Nothing like it was advertised. Advertisements shows way more fun and things to do than when you actually get there. Tickets cost too much for very little activity.
Not worth the money.
by 3momMN on 4/17/18Alerus Center - Grand ForksRating: 1 out of 5We arrived early and waited about 5 minutes in an unorganized line to enter and find that the adds were highly misleading. My children were bored by the rides and the shows are held in a Small location that made it difficult for the kids to see.
loved it
by Aeh4nb on 1/25/18Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5My daughter loved this event!! There was so much for her to do even though she is only 2. She was very happy and I had a blast watching her interact and have fun!
improvement required
by exhorbitantpricingandvalu on 1/15/18Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 2 out of 5It was dark and uninviting; the only "top notch" interaction was with a young man at the exhibit table of "real artifacts"; he was engaging and helpful and knowledgeable! The kids enjoyed the replicas, the food was TERRIBLE and things were excessively expensive. I will not return.
Not for adults
by Cameron88 on 1/14/18Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 3 out of 5Wish there were more activities for adults. Great if you have kids though. Also, a little pricy for the adults who can’t do much.
=)
by JessG89 on 1/13/18Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5The kids had a ton of fun! Perfect gift for our dinosaur lover!!
Fun event, a bit overpriced
by RPetersPhoto on 1/12/18Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 3 out of 5My daughter (3.5) loves dinos so we knew we had to attend this event. 2 adults tickets plus a VIP for our kid put the total close to $100. There was a line for everything, and I feel the adult ticket is high considering we do not actively participate in any of the features. While our daughter loved the Baby Dino show, & the $15 walking Dino Balloon, we were just surprised at the total cost and the amount of waiting. The bounce houses had the lines, and then each group of kids was allowed 3 minutes of play. Not to mention the $7 parking required!

This was a complete rip off. We paid extra for the kids to be able to everything, but they couldn't. The lines were too long for the kids to sit on a dinosaur. 45 minute wait times for dinosaur rides. 2 hours just to have their faces painted. Too pricey. Completely over crowded. Not a place you can truly enjoy with your whole family because of how costly it is and crowded. We won't be going back.
not worth the cost
by 33madkat33 on 1/11/18Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 1 out of 5it was nice to get out of the house; but i will not pay that much again to see something so small and... well lacking. only around 20 dinosaurs (only 1 big dinosaur) and things were falling apart. i finished the whole exhibit in 30 minutes. i paid 15 dollars for a full face paint for ME (big kid at heart) and i received in under three minutes something i could have done to myself at home.... so not worth it.
Amazing!
by mdsax333 on 1/11/18Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5This was an amazing event, not only for us nerdy adults, but also for the kids/grandkids. There were plenty of activities for the kids - rides, dinosaur bone dig, dinosaur-themed bouncy slides, etc. We spent 5 hours at the event and absolutely loved it! The dinosaur exhibits were done well and very informative.

Not worth the money at all. They need to have better quality events and more entertainment for the kids.

My 5 year old grandson had the time of his life. I enjoyed myself also.
lots of rides
by Zaman on 1/10/18Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5My kids enjoyed a lot. With life size dinosaurs and moving jaws and tails, children were very excited to see these.
over all pretty fun
by Jessicamd1987 on 1/10/18Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 3 out of 5It was pretty fun..girls loved it. Only complaint is the baby dinosaurs...it took FOREVER to see them. All the guys started on the same side of the fence..and they spent 5 min PER KID. so it took forever for my 2 and 5 year old to even see 1! Needless to say we didn't event get to see all three.

It was neat, however so crowded it was almost not worth the price at all. Would have been better off taking the kids to a bounce house. It was neat but not worth it for our family.
Ok
by Daddy84 on 1/10/18Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 3 out of 5It was ok. Not what I thought it would be. $106 for 2 vip kids and 1 adult then $7 parking and not to mention $4 drinks. It was definitely overpriced for what the event was. What I do it again absolutely not.
Jurrasic Quest
by Jackiblue1 on 1/10/18Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5It would have been a great experience, but it was very dark in there. There were signs telling you about the dinosaurs, but due to the darkness you could not read them. They had lights in the "pens", but the lights were placed behind the signs. No way you could read them. When we complained to the show manager, she said to go take the tour, they were not changing it. Ruined my experience and I was really looking forward to it.
Magical For Kids But....
by Anonymous on 1/10/18Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 3 out of 5I took my nieces out as a special treat to see the dinosaurs in Kansas City. The girls are two and seven years old and both thought the event was magical. I saw them smile and laugh a lot! The exhibit part itself was perfect! The kids loved it. They posed for photos and the seven-year-old read most of the signs to us about the dinos. The two-year-old liked pointing at all the small dinosaurs. One of the reasons I picked to go to this venue with the girls was because it was advertised as autism-friendly. The exhibit part was autism-friendly because it's dark, full of rich colors, immersive, and all the exhibits are set up so that you wait your turn to see the dinosaurs. You can take all the time you need to look at and see the beautiful art that is the dinos! The activities were separate from the exhibit by another room and I do not feel these were very autism-friendly. The lights were very bright and the open floor plan had no clear path. There were signs but if you are on the spectrum they sort of got lost in the sea of people and made navigation difficult. I did notice that staff members were positioned at all the exits so if a child got lost then they would be safe. I am grateful for the good security! The noise of people was extremely overwhelming in this area so bring some headphones to dampen the noise and maybe some sunglasses as well if you are autistic or similar. If you have an autistic or similar child with you then make sure you explain to them how each activity works and where to go. Make sure you mark each kid with information in case they get lost! It's overwhelming in there so they could become exhausted quickly. The shows that were available are amazing! Both kids loved these as well. I saw them laugh and giggle as they saw "Walking Dinosaurs" and "Baby Dinosaurs" all the staff were friendly and kind. The adults in the arena, however, were not as friendly or kind. Many adults actually body blocked our nieces on purpose and pushed them out of the way so they could not see the show. (The show was in a circle surrounded by a green fence where most of the kids were up front at the fence but adults wanted to be upfront as well) At one point I had to ask an adult to stop leaning on our baby stroller and to take their hands off the handles of the stroller. Another time I had to maneuver my older niece around a lady who came up and stood in front of our niece and leaned across the viewpoint and stayed there blocking the child's view. So... the lady was filming the dinosaurs and all my niece could see was a metal pillar. Thankfully, the children seemed oblivious to this sort of chaos and loved the show. The people doing the show were kind and even though the girls were in a difficult spot they came over and gave them attention. Lastly, the VIP band might be a good value if you don't want to tell a disappointed seven-year-old that you can't afford to do all the side activities. The two-year-old wanted a balloon but the line was over twenty people long and then we found out it was 15.00 for one single balloon. We could not afford that either and had to leave the line. The seven-year-old was disappointed the fossil dig activity was not more scientifically accurate and she really wanted to dig up her own fossil. We let her ride a dino to make up for it and she really loved it. In conclusion, the event was overall a success! The nieces loved it and for them it was magical but for an adult, the event was a bit more chaotic and pricy!

Seeing the Animatronic dinosaurs was pretty cool, but didn't take very long. It was crowded and not that much fun for all the standing in line. Probably worth it if you have a 3-5 year old who is dino CRAZY. But, my 7 year old would have been happy just to play on the inflatables the whole time, which you couldn't even do (3 times around, then get back in line). There's cheaper places to go for that sort of thing - where parents don't have to pay $20 each just to get in the door.
