  • Overpriced with greater costs when you get inside

by Ron on 2/15/22Alerus Center - Grand ForksRating: 1 out of 5

The Dino’s were cool and fun to look at but the whole experience was definitely not worth the money spent. My son and I were done in 23 minutes and saw every Dino. The prices on the gifts were ridiculous. The “rides” were large grocery store hobby horses in Dino costumes. I checked this block but will not spend my money at this event again.

  • Did not disappoint

by Geri on 2/14/22Alerus Center - Grand ForksRating: 5 out of 5

We drove 2 hours. Our original tickets were for Friday but a winter storm causing all major roadways to be closed made it impossible for us to make it. The Alerus Center was so wonderful. They said come when you can and we’ll honor your tickets. We made it Sunday! My two year old grandson entered the event and the first 30 minutes he was in complete AWE! Big eyes, mouth wide open, pointing at dinosaurs, and running to all the different Dinos. His favorite was the babies. My four year old enjoyed the exhibit too but had so much fun in the interactive area. Dinosaur Quest provided so many different activities it was definitely worth the two hour drive. I purchased one Trainer Pack ticket for the kids to share. It was so worth the money. Next time I will be purchasing two Trainer pack tickets. My only wish is that it would have been offered in Fargo ND. Winter in Minnesota and North Dakota is unpredictable. We were at Dinosaur Quest for 2 1/2 hours. When we left the weather had picked up and we drove home in blowing snow with zero visibility at times.

  • Very Disappointed

by KM on 12/3/21Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort WayneRating: 2 out of 5

For the amount of money this event charges, it would have been nice if the exhibits and rides weren't literally falling apart. Paid for the "unlimited ride" package for my daughter which ended up being a few bounce houses and one squeaking dinosaur ride that barely moved its head up and down. This was such a disappointment.

  • Disappointed

by Lisa on 12/1/21Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort WayneRating: 3 out of 5

First off I bought a ticket for a kid to ride rides and they were all to small for her. Some of the dinosaurs are in bad shape.

  • Meh... Don't bother with the unlimited rides

by Adam on 12/1/21Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort WayneRating: 2 out of 5

The dinosaurs are well done enough and the hands on areas are fun for kids but don't bother with the unlimited ride pass. The only thing worth riding is the mechanical ride on dinosaurs. They are basically just giant versions of the "rides" you'd see in a grocery store or mall. The rest of the "rides" were just a bunch of carnival inflatables.

  • Expensive For Value

by Guest on 12/1/21Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort WayneRating: 3 out of 5

My wife and I took our kids, age 6 and 3. Rides were geared for little kids and not a lot of interactive items of substance. Honestly could have done the whole thing in 20 minutes. Cost was not worth the value for the four of us.

  • Great Experience!

by Sherry on 12/1/21Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort WayneRating: 4 out of 5

The dinosaur displays are pretty amazing! The movements, sounds, and whole ambience is awesome. The employees are always very friendly. We were a little disappointed with the 'face painting' this year, but everything else was great!

  • Jurassic quest

by S on 11/30/21Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort WayneRating: 2 out of 5

I felt the cost of admission was extremely high for what was provided. Also the additional 7.50 per ticket was excessive.

  • Meh...

by MommaBear on 11/30/21Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort WayneRating: 2 out of 5

The description for the base price tickets indicates this is a 2 hour self-guided tour but it took us 30 mins and that included our restroom break. The dinos were cool but they quite literally looked like they were slapped together in a rush. The "animals" have clearly been used a lot but there was lots of visible damage and the seams were more than visible. The military type tarp netting placed on the floor was tossed down to cover electrical wires but it wasn't much of disguise, might as well just used a bed sheet. I felt it was all very underwhelming and disappointing. It was DEFINITELY not worth the price we paid. I would not recommend this to anyone.

  • The kids had a great time, the rides was age appropriate.

  • Great experience

The event was fun! My kids had a lot of fun. I wish there was more dinosaurs to see. Overall great experience. I would do it again.

  • Save your money

by TWitz on 11/29/21Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort WayneRating: 2 out of 5

This was a money trap. We ordered the regular tickets and went through the dinosaur exhibit in about 15 minutes. Then we were led to the back of the exhibit where you had to pay for just about every other experience. To grownups, they all looked extremely boring ("riding" on a dinosaur was really just sitting on a slow-moving object). Our kids cried that they couldn't wait in the LOOOONG lines for the rides and that we wouldn't buy them items from the souvenier stands which were located at several different points. Here's how this could have been better: 1. More active experiences for kids. Make the regular ticket packet more robust. Add an obstacle course or other things for kids to run around and do. 2. Add information about the dinosaurs. If you're going for the zoo vibe, then you should add informative signs along the way about the different dinosaurs. (to be fair there was one small section with information...but it should have been posted all along the way). Make this informative for parents and older kids too! 3. STOP trying to squeeze extra money out of people. It felt like we were getting nickled and dimed the entire way! I would never take my kids here again. Just not worth paying $19 a ticket to be miserable. I could have saved my money AND had a better time doing something else at home.

  • Very interesting. Many dinosaur names i didn't know.

by Omma on 11/29/21Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort WayneRating: 3 out of 5

There were many dinosaur names i didn't know. I was surprised at the water dinosaurs. I took my daughter-in-law and 9 month old grandson. He enjoyed getting up close and personal with as many dinos as he could. I would've liked it if the exhibit had been larger for the price. It didn't take long to walk through.

  • Was fun and enjoyable!

by Kari on 11/29/21Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort WayneRating: 5 out of 5

We had a great time taking our daughter to Jurassic Quest this past weekend. She had a blast trying all the different activities and seeing the dinosaurs!

  • Kids enjoyed it

by Tornado momma on 11/29/21Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort WayneRating: 4 out of 5

Took 4 kids age 2-7. They enjoyed it and thought it was cool. Not as educationally interactive as I’d have hoped. Very little info about the dinosaurs themselves apart from a small display with a few fossils. Not sure we’ll go back.

  • Fun But Overpriced for What Was Available

by Mourar01 on 11/29/21Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort WayneRating: 3 out of 5

Overall, our five-year-old son had a good time at Jurassic Quest. I have no complaint about the cost of the child's ticket; however, the adult tickets should be considerably less expensive, especially since we are only there to supervise the kids. The area was clean and the staff were friendly, though there could have been more (or at least some) signage to direct those who pre-purchased wristbands/extras. I would have appreciated signs with more information about the dinosaurs (when/where they lived, how to pronounce their names, etc.), as all that is provided is the name of the dinosaur. The raptor training show was well-done and engaging and the animatronic rides were something different that was definitely appreciated. While we enjoyed our first experience with Jurassic Quest, we won't likely go again unless they add more experiences.

  • Loved it!

by Alexis on 11/29/21Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort WayneRating: 5 out of 5

We brought our 2, 4 and 6 year old and there was something for everyone! My 2 year old loves dinosaurs and he loved this event! I was impressed!

  • Had a great time!

by Auntie on 11/29/21Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort WayneRating: 5 out of 5

My nephews loved it, we will do this again if it comes to town. We spent 3 hours there and could have stayed longer.

  • Weak

by Zbeard on 11/29/21Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort WayneRating: 2 out of 5

I had heard last year was better. Not a lot there and minimal rides. Not impressed. They need more information on the dinosaurs displays. Like a book to go along with you or something.
