  • Not worth the money

by Andi on 7/27/22Raising Cane's River Center Exhibition Hall - Baton RougeRating: 1 out of 5

First of all, the people that put this on made it seem like it was going to be this big grand event and it wasn’t. There was not a lot in the exhibit and the rides were worthless. The show that was put on where they “train” a dinosaur was horrible. You could clearly see that is was a person in the costume. Don’t waste your money on this.

  • Good Dinosaur Display but!

by Mama T on 7/27/22Raising Cane's River Center Exhibition Hall - Baton RougeRating: 3 out of 5

My son is a dinosaur fanatic, so I thought he would love this. When advertised it listed all of the great things that the kids would be able to do. So when I purchased our tickets I opted out of the extra stuff, that was my fault because I should have read what all the extras were. Needless to say his experience wasnt what I hoped it would be. When you first walk in you see the dino exhibit. It was really nice but I feel there could have been dinosaurs on display. Then once you pass the dinosaurs were all the extra things. My kid is 8, but he is the size of maybe a 11 or 12 year old. I started to buy the package for all the extras but after walking through and looking around the all the extras were for the little smaller kids. It wasnt anything else he was interested in do including the dinosaur ride. Thats why I feel that there should have been more dinosaurs or something else for the bigger kids.

  • Kids love the inflatables

by KMinBR on 7/27/22Raising Cane's River Center Exhibition Hall - Baton RougeRating: 4 out of 5

I consider myself a pretty sensible parent and also cost-conscious. So I bought our tickets using a discount code from the venue and did not opt for the children’s add-on package. Thought that would have been good enough. My boys are 3 and 6. Dinosaur exhibit is at most 10 minutes, then there is a show, then your kids spend the rest of the time begging to get on other rides so we broke down and paid for the upgrade. Don’t expect to go and NOT pay for the upgrade. There were very few other activities that were free. I read other reviews that said there were long lines but we did not experience that issue and we went on a Sunday morning.

  • It was not what I expected

by Mom of two on 7/26/22Raising Cane's River Center Exhibition Hall - Baton RougeRating: 2 out of 5

I was expecting a lot more, like dinosaur songs to be playing while the kids are doing the activities, more activities, a actual live show. I paid for the unlimited package and seems like it was the very same as the regular admission. The kids were just running wild, anyone could pretty much do everything I paid extra for, total rip off. My oldest is 13 so she aged out of everything, I was hoping should would be able to assist my 2 year old with some of the activities but we were told she was too old and couldn’t help. All together, not worth the money but my 2 year old enjoyed herself is why I gave it 2 stars since that’s what matters. The food was horrible and way over priced. Nothing like the video that was displayed for everyone to see on Jurassic Quest page. Would not recommend honestly unless you just would like your kids to get out of the house and over pay for a play day.

Was a great time for not only the 2 year old granddaughter but for the adults as well. Would go to again next year if possible.

  • Way overpriced

by LOVED IT!!! on 7/26/22Raising Cane's River Center Exhibition Hall - Baton RougeRating: 2 out of 5

The experience given used to cost much less for much more, the dinosaurs are very few which is all the $25 ticket covers, you get to see very few dinosaurs and to enjoy the other attractions, that used to be included in the one price is now a whopping $40. I really hated this happened and I doubt if I'll attend another one with these new prices. Cost way too much to have any fun there, at the least make up for the lack of dinosaur exhibits. Oh and that Live show presentation is horrible, watching a man walk around so obviously, leaving nothing realistic, just a man walking around uncovered pretending to be a dinosaur, at least make it more believable for the little ones imagination. I'm just very disappointed in the entire thing and wish I could've gotten my money back for the tickets I had purchased

  • Tacky

by Leeann Jarrell on 7/25/22Raising Cane's River Center Exhibition Hall - Baton RougeRating: 2 out of 5

There was a museum of giant dinosaurs but everything else was nothing but bouncy houses and cheap plastic souvenirs.

  • Cool

    by D. S. on 7/22/22Rating: 5 out of 5

Pretty cool. Lots of life sized Dino’s to look at an take pics with. Plenty of games and ride for the kids if you have ‘em. They had a little raptor show with a guy in a Utah raptor costume. You can pet the raptor and the baby Dino’s if you want. They even had real fossils you can look at. I went by myself and I’m 25 years old. I enjoyed it a lot but I can see how other people would be disappointed if they are older. My favorite thing to see was the true dilophosaurus that wasn’t like the weird Jurassic park ones. And the size difference between spinosaurus and T. rex, you can clearly see spinosaurus is larger. And the velociraptors are realistic not the large movie ones but the turkey sized feathered ones. I’m a Dino nerd so I like that kind of stuff. Yeah your gonna spend a lot of money so try not to buy the tickets full price, if you look you can probably find a discount somewhere. Also the add on packs are full of cheap toys. I bought the most expensive one and I liked it. They had an origami kit, a coloring book, a hand puppet, a poster, and some other little cheap kick nacks you could probably buy at you local dollar store. But here’s a warning in advance it’s probably a waste of 55 bucks especially for someone as old as me, but I had fun with it and if your a super Dino fan like me (or if your kid is) it might be worth the money. I think even though it’s a bit expensive it’s worth it to go at least once and these amazing creatures that ruled the earth for millions of years before anything that’s close to a human ever existed. If they come back next year I’m going back and every time they come back around I enjoy they can have a little of my paycheck.

  • Terrible

by Mfox on 7/9/22Rating: 1 out of 5

Don’t waste your money with this, there was nothing to see at all. Whatever you do don’t pay for the add on option, long lines as well. What a rip off.

  • It was okay

    by Cjl17 on 7/3/22Scheels Arena - FargoRating: 3 out of 5

The exhibits were good and my grandson seemed to enjoy himself for the most part. The event itself was smaller than expected, items for sale were outrageously priced, and if people weren't aware they were giving away $5 vouchers for items just for leaving a review on Google.

  • Wasn't sure what to expect

by A Girl Dad on 6/29/22Scheels Arena - FargoRating: 5 out of 5

I'll be honest, after 10 minutes I thought, "There is no way I'm getting my money's worth out of this" but after my daughter saw the dinosaur exhibit and the look on her face when she saw how big they were... then when the Raptor "show" interacted with her... the smile on her face made it worth it, she loved the bouncy houses, the rides, and even enjoyed the fossil dig. I took a ton of pictures and we had to get her a dinosaur toy from the souvenirs, she wanted the Pterodactyl... it was her favorite dinosaur

  • Not worth the price

    by Jay S on 6/29/22Scheels Arena - FargoRating: 3 out of 5

For a family of three it cost over a 100.00$. This was for two adult tickets and one kid ticket with unlimited rides. First some of the exhibits need repair. Second we tried the QR codes on the sign for the dinosaurs and the ones we tried did not work. The QR codes were to get more information about the dinosaur. Third I over heard another adult saying the signs were wrong for two of the dinosaurs so far. I'm assuming she was a person that knew more about dinos than I did. There wasn't a lot of dinos too. However on the plus side there were ones we never heard of. My daughter who love dinosaurs liked the rides more which is rare for her. One dinosaur you ride was broken and someone was trying to fix it.

  • Disappointed

    by K. C. on 6/29/22Scheels Arena - FargoRating: 1 out of 5

We have been to this event at the Alerus in Grand Forks and now the Scheels Arena in Fargo. The Scheels Arena was two small and we did not like having it laid out in two different sections of the building. The Layout in Grand Forks worked much better. We were disappointed that the larger exhibits and rides were not available in Fargo. The "game" room in the Scheels arena where the kids were running around in their socks had a wet cold floor. We will not attend this event again at the Scheels Arena.

  • Meh

    by 701sno on 6/29/22Scheels Arena - FargoRating: 2 out of 5

It was not organized as well. My kids were a little confused. Overall, I don't think the value was worth the price of admission. I did like that there were people actively sanitizing handrails.

  • Not worth the money

    by B on 6/28/22Scheels Arena - FargoRating: 2 out of 5

Half of the dinosaurs didnt work. The “dinosaur show” with the trainer didnt happen the whole hour we were there. The rides were so long it took a half and hour and it didnt even move because the employees were not paying attention to load the kids on and off the rides. There was no one regulating how many people go in and out so it was so packed you would have had to wait an hour for a ride. 157 waste of money.

  • Jurassic park exibit

by Secret agent on 6/28/22Scheels Arena - FargoRating: 2 out of 5

Great for small childeren, especially preschoolers. Very overpriced tickets for the content. Plaques and signs were hard to see.

  • Waste of money

by Cklemeric on 6/28/22Scheels Arena - FargoRating: 1 out of 5

A huge waste of hard earned money $180!!!!! I wasn't impressed. The more expensive wrist band was ridiculous too. Only two of the battery powered trucked worked. Lines were long to ride dinosaurs. The entire area had an inch of water on the floor. It smelled. The bouncy houses are wet and dirty. The kids were supposed to be wearing socks in the bouncy houses. Wet dirty socks, some kids had wet shoes. It was awful. Just awful. We all showered when we got home.

  • A lot was broken. The floor was soaked and smelled horrible.

by MR on 6/28/22Scheels Arena - FargoRating: 2 out of 5

People were falling because the floor was wet. Lines were long. Families carrying strollers down stairs.

  • Good for small kids

by Melinda on 5/5/22DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 3 out of 5

Dinosaur displays were ok but a lot of them needed some TLC especially the ones where the kids rode on. This event is better for smaller kids. The staff selling the souvenirs could have been more friendly. Overall staff was good. Some of them were above and beyond. This is probably an event I'd do once with my kids only because my kids are 5-14yrs old.

  • Cool event but expected more

by Chrissy on 5/5/22DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 3 out of 5

The dinosaurs were really cool but for spending just over $100 to bring my 2 kids and myself I expected more. I purchased unlimited “rides” for my son which consisted of motorized dinosaurs that moved forward and backward and shook a bit and 2 inflatables that were so poorly staffed that my son couldn’t get near and ended up crying and leaving. All in all a bit disappointing for the money.
