Judas Priest Tickets

Every single time the Priest is back I get tingles all over. The amazing stage presence of Rob is quite a sight tobehold. Not to metion the bedroom eyes that he was giving me the whole time left me weak in the knees. I know that there has been some debate over Adam Lambert taking the so called FLAMING torch from Rob but I say NO WAY GIRLFRIEND!!! Rob will always and for ever be my one true love.... Everything was great.....my only complaint was the volume.....in the first 30 rows it was UNENJOYABLE, like standing to a jet turbine, I could not distinguish the music or the words or even what song it was. After securing some earplugs....everything was perfect. Not sure why they choose the volume level to be this high....I saw Scorpions 2 years ago at DTE Energy Music Theatre and had no complaints volume related. So bring your earplugs folks, just in case. Or by 'em at the event for $2 ripoff price

Whitesnake came out and tore it up. They sound tight and Coverdale can still belt it out. Trust me, no lip syncing or tapes! Judas Priest played the entire British Steel album first and sounded great doing it. Just how I remembered it back in 1981! The rest of the show was just as good and culminated with Rob riding his Harley on the stage. The venue is a great place to see a show as well. Excellent setup and sound.

Concert started OK with a decent warm up act (Pop Evil). They managed to generate a little spark considering it is daylight and the place was 3/4 empty. Whitesnake hit the stage and continued to build on what Pop Evil had started. David Cloverdale still can really sing for his age, He looks really beat up and could use some amount of a make over. Great guitar work from both whitesnake guitarist. The drummer for WS needs to work with the sound people and put some pop in his snare drum (flat). Judas P hit the stage and fell flat. Tempo was to fast on most songs. No connection with the crowd. Typical hey Detroit kind of stuff, Nothing really interesting or worth the money. Forgetable for sure.

I have seen Judas on every tour since 1982 and this is by far the best one yet, the setlist was the best of any band I have ever seen, the band was rock solid, tight and simply perfect. Mr. Halford voice was beyond anything that resembles any other human vocal range, the man is truly blessed. K.K was on fire as he shredded his vintage flying V, Glenn mastered his Hamer, the entire band is what every other should strive to be, perfection to say the least. I sat in the 3rd row and was in awe during the entire show and had shivers down my spine. It was so good we are going to drive to see them in Chicago on 7-19-09 and drive 6 hours home after the show to get ready for work, then off to Cincinatti on 7-21-09 to do it again, this is by far any Judas Priest fans dream concert. Thank you Judas for doing this tour and it is a dream show come to fruiton, simply amazing and a must see show, no matter how far you have to drive or fly to see it. Matt

Great Show by the Masters of Metal as always. Great to hear British Steel performed in it's original entirety. You dont have to be old to be wise, The Rage, and Steeler are all songs that are, and were, rarely performed live. The only reason I did not give this show 5 stars was the somewhat lack of The band not interacting with the crowd enough. Rob Halford only addressed the crowd a couple of times (one being the crowd singalong towards the end), otherwise they seemed very rehearsed and business like in their performance. But never the less Judas Priest are one of the True must see bands in Metal. Whitesnake were also very good, and Most of the crowd in attendance seemed to be there to see them as much as Judas Priest. David Coverdale's interaction with the audience was non-stop and had Whitesnake's fans singing along with every song during their set.

An epic show, Whitesnake is at the top of their game and played a good solid set. Judas Priest then comes out and does their entire British Steel album and it sounded awesome. This is a tour everyone should see!

Well this was the 8th time I've seen the Priest. Despite the fact hearing the entire British Steel album in it's entirety, I felt it was an average show compared to most of the others I've seen. The stage was smaller without the trademark catwalks and tiering. The band played awesome as usual but there was a mishap on Victim Of Changes where the ending got a bit jumbled. It was obvious especially when KK and Glenn both peered up to Scott. There were a few songs, Desert Plains comes to mind, where I actually miss Ripper and his pipes. He took that song, made it his own, and 98' Live Demolition was the best version ever! Priest did not do any songs off Angel Of Retribution, not even Judas Rising. All in all it was a great show but I kept wanting more. Whitesnake also did a fine job. David Coverdale still has the pipes and kept the crowd on it's feet. Pop Evil...WOW these guys will be going places! They sounded fantastic and their showmanship shined with the best of the best. I was impressed when the vocalist hopped off stage, walked up through the pavillion seating and onto the lawn where he sang his guts out with the crowd. Nice to see more and more Michiganders making it in the music biz.

Judas Priest just gets better every time I see them. I have seen them four years in a row and seven times in my life time. British Steel was a great choice to cover from beginning to end. I hope next year they do Screaming For Vengeance. Judas Priest left Toronto wanting more. We travelled 1700 mile to see them, and will travel again. Rob we love You! Whitesnake was a great fit for this show and had many great moments.

This was the sixth time I've seen Whitesnake since 1987 and the first time seeing Judas Priest. After purchasing the newest WS CD Good to be Bad I was excited to hear new tunes on this tour. Unfortunately what we got was a rehash of the 2003 Syracuse setlist. Lay Down Your Love was the only new song played. The rest of their set was filled with the same songs I've heard many times live before. Bad Boys/ Children of the Night medley, Fool for your Lovin, Gimme all of your lovin, Slow an easy (with new intro was a breath of fresh air to an old stand by), Here I go Again, Love Aint no Stranger, Is this Love, Still of the Night...the same old tunes. Don't get me wrong it was a great show but I was very dissapointed that we didn't get to hear more new tunes. The band was flawless, the guitar solo spots were engaging and David Coverdale was his confident regal self. I did notice that he pulled away from the mic often when singing high parts but the notes he was hitting seemed on...just not overpowering...but hey the guy has to be pushing 60...he still has a great set of pipes and is always a class act. Judas Priest..what can I say Rob Halford still has the voice and scream he had 25 yrs ago. The band seemed bored ( I kept waiting for Scott Travis and Glenn Tipton to shred) and doing British Steel in its entirety got a little boring, Overall a good show..Priest was a little loud and I would have preferred to have WS as the headliner with Priest playing first. All in all a great night and I'm glad I got to see these two great bands for what may be the last time in the states.

WhiteSnake wasn't that great, they didn't put on no light/show neither did Judas Priest for that matter (except the bike). I guess J.P. only puts on a show when they come out with a new album that their promoting...still the only good show out there these days is Motely Crue.... the sound was horrible, WhiteSnake amped up the bass too much and didn't bother readjusting it for J.P....on top of that when Rob H. hit the high notes the tweeters got distorted....i understand that they have to amp it up for the lawn people but why are they so dam cheap...if they would have added another set of speakers for the lawn the sound wouldn't have been so distored

Whitesnake was pretty good, but wasn't the same because of lot of the orginal players are no longer in the group, but David Coverdale still has a tremdouse voice!! Judas Priest was awesome, best rock vocals heard in a long time. Show was great, love the motorcycle on stage!!

Amazing show. Both Whitesnake and the Priest rocked like it was 1987. Still cant believe how good they both sounded after all these years!

I drove 656 miles from Indiana to Michigan so I could see Whitesnake & Judas Priest in concert. I was very impressed that David Coverdale & Rob Halford can still sing just as good as they did back in the 1980s. Both singers can still scream & belt it out & these men have to be in their late 50's -early 60s now. They both were a favorite of mine back in the 80s & they still are & always will be.

I've seen the Priest 4 times now and was disappointed with Rob Halford's performance at the DTE Wednesday night. He simply appeared to just go through the motions wasn't at all into the show.

Whitesnake took us back in time with Coverdale's piercing vocals and the band's melodic thundering sound. It's a shame they played a short set list. Priest hit the stage with a vengeance! Halford's vocals and the earth shattering guitar work has stood the test of time. It's a shame that playing the entire British Steel took away from the band playing more

I have been a Whitesnake fan for 25 years and was thrilled to hear they were touring this year. I took my 17 year old niece to the concert as she enjoys their music, too. We traveled 3 hours to the concert coming from Findlay OH. WE only went to the concert to see David Coverdale and Whitesnake and left after they played. No disrespect to Judas Priest...3 hour drive home. We had a great time, they put on a great show. David is an amazing showman! The new band members are very talented and have great stage presence. I have been attending concerts at this venue since it was called Pine Knob! We went to see David...came home happy!

WHAT I CAN I SAY. COVERDALE IS ROYALTY. PRIEST COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER.

Both Whitesnake and Judas Priest were awesome. Their sets were great. I couldn't have asked for a better show.
