Excellent -- Almost
by LiveStageLover on 1/19/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 4 out of 5We've seen "Joseph" several times, and this one is good! The music and choreography were excellent, the technical aspects (lights, projection, sound, etc.) were outstanding. Ace Young (Joseph) was a bit weak- Maybe he had a cold? Pharoah didn't have the Presley moves down quite right, but was good enough. The Narrator, Diana DeGarmo was fantastic, and put the whole thing together wonderfully. Supporting actors/singers/dancers were among the best. The only downside was that the theater didn't have perfect acoustics. Some of the sound was a little 'mushy'. Also, we missed not having "Any Dream Will Do" sung in the Opening.
Joseph was great!
by BudnDonna on 1/19/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 4 out of 5Very good performance! Cast was great and the music superb! I saw the original production 20 years ago and enjoyed seeing it again! While Ace Young was not as good as Donny Osmond he still did a good job and Diana was wonderful as the narrator!
Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat
by Nancilita on 1/16/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 4 out of 5This musical was great fun and uplifting. The music was just great. Enjoyed having the teleprompter for when I couldn't understand some of the music. Would definitely recommend seeing this musical.
A Fun Show.....Enjoyable Music
by Xarky on 1/15/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 4 out of 5Overall an enjoyable show with lots of energy and wonderful songs. The second act topped the first act because of some of the individual performances and their rapport with the audience. Joseph, the narrator (who was his wife) and the Pharaoh were tops. Good stage approach with the various scene lighting and quick background screen images. Have seen this show a number of times including performances by Donnie Osmond, always a joy.
Joseph's Dreamcoat production a dream come true!
by lucidreamer on 1/15/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5I have loved this musical for many years, but I have never seen it live. I enjoyed every minute of it, and was wonderfully surprised by the beautiful dance numbers. The special effects, simply marvelous, brought applause from theater goers, too, as they were being projected. A fantastic production. Such a joy to have those melodies wandering through my dreams and day dreaming. I immediately dug out the CD upon getting home and was dancing through the house. (I pulled the drapes first. They were drapes of many colors!)

Best I've Ever Seen
by Anonymous on 1/14/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5EVERYTHING about Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was absolutely perfect. The lighting, costumes, choreography, casting, set, music, and vocals were on point. When the show was nearing a close, I did not want to leave! 10/10 would see again, but next time, FRONT ROW!
Wonderful Fun with Joseph's Brothers
by Bushka2 on 1/14/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 4 out of 5The production of J&TATD featured a remarkably talented ensemble. While the two leads gave fine performances, it was really the ensemble that stole the show. Whenever Joseph's brothers were featured, the energy level soared and the audience gave its enthusiastic approval.
Enjoyed it immensly
by roclen on 1/14/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5Our first time at Centennial Hall but not the last. We thoroughly enjoyed this play. Such a hardworking cast! Enjoyed the singing, dancing; the actors seemed very professional. My husband, who appeared on broadway many years ago, was impressed by all the cast. Something was always happening onstage to keep you entertained. The theater seemed just large enough for everyone to enjoy the performance no matter where the seats were located. The next time, we'll spring for seats closer just for effect.
Energitic
by Louiebell on 1/14/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 4 out of 5We thoroughly enjoyed this presentation. At times it was very slap-happy but at least always in good taste.

Saw it on Saturday and enjoyed it so much I purchased tickets when I got home to take my grandson the next day. He is 13 and a dancer. Saw it twice and would see it again. Upbeat, happy and so much fun.
Hard to hear
by Chipper65 on 1/14/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5The acoustics in the theater were so bad, that I couldn't understand or hear (both together and at separate times) the performers speaking or singing voices for more than 25% of the production. It was very disappointing.
Awesome and Amazing
by Nancella5141 on 1/14/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5I saw the Broadway musical with Donny Osmond 20 yrs ago. It still has the wonder and powerful music to entertain. The updated visuals and costumes are great. This show does not grow old with the telling. Ace and his beautiful wife plus the cast- add energy and spice to the tale. Well done!
Great evening entertainment
by cmpreset on 1/14/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 4 out of 5I am a Musical nerd, I've seen alot of them...except Joseph. I'm a fan of all the Lloyd-Webber/Rice productions, but...never seen it. Other than the great music, writing and fun storytelling of a story from my childhood, the traveling show is spot on. Diana DeGarmo's singing and "acting" as the narrator gives the backbone to the show. You rely on her parts to put the sequence of events together. She IS the fourth wall and she bridges the action on stage and the narration to the audience perfectly. Ace is meant to play Joseph. I mean, he's sweet, kind, strong, and believable. There wasn't someone in the cast that was a weak link, the whole thing I just sat back and enjoyed.
Joseph and the Amazintg Technicolor Dreamcoat
by Xandar on 1/14/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5The music was amazing. All the dancing was also incredible. We got a taste of all kinds of music. The spoof on Elvis was so good!! I loved the idea of the narrator. She spoke very clearly and her participation was very important.

Top music score we have ever heard! Uplifting and fun. We had gone to this the day before. My wife liked it so much that she went again on Sunday. We live about 75 miles away. Was worth driving the 300 round trip miles.
Joseph sounded like family guy's quagmire
by JosephFanUsually on 1/14/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 1 out of 5I was not impressed what so ever for the show. I have seen this show several dozen times. And did not like that it was such a different take on the original. Joseph's voice was the most irritating voice I have ever heard on stage. It was weak, nasaly and Just not what Joseph's voice should be. I was cringing the whole show when he sang. Very Dissapointed in it. The scenery and props, and choreography were terrible also. Overall poorly put together.
