Four of us went to see "Joseph" and we enjoyed it. A major issue for all of us was that we were unable to understand the words being sung. On average, we caught about 50% of what was being sung. We couldn't decide if it was the music that was too loud and overpowering the performers, or if the performers were not enunciating, or maybe the sound system was bad. It seemed that by Act 2, it got a little better, not much, but better. I know we would have enjoyed it even more if we had been able to hear 100% of the dialogue, I'm sure we missed a lot of the humor in it.
Disappointed
by Skittish on 1/14/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 2 out of 5Looked forward to seeing this age-old production as I had never seen it before but was sorely disappointed. The staging was amateur, had difficulty understanding the dialog- just to mention a few problems. Left at intermission.
Joseph's Dreamcoat Truly Amazing
by DogManWalking on 1/14/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5Great production, fantastic singing and dancing, amazing light show; great entertainment
Lighting was incredible
by TAZDP on 1/14/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5A very enjoyable afternoon. The touring company was top notch. The show held your attention the entire two hours. I say this because I brought my nephew who is seven, and his eyes were fixed on the stage the entire time. I'd see the show again,
Joseph was great!
by Chacho125 on 1/14/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 4 out of 5High energy, great music and a great cast! Ace Young's voice was not perfectly suited for the role but it still was a very enjoyable show. I have never been crazy about the sound in Centennial Hall.
Much better than expected
by RPHTechi on 1/13/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5I half expected this to be some boring, peachy biblical message. I went to humor my wife. While it is based on a biblical story, it treats it as a good story worth telling and isn't peachy at all. The acting, singing, and energy of the play were all top-notch. I absolutely loved it from start to finish.
great show with lots of energy

Wonderfully uplifting
by GVChristopherson on 1/13/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5Diana had an amazing voice and all of the actors did an amazing job! Very intertwining with their dances and singing! Funny and witty! I took my husband and kids - Didn't really know what to expect and got a wonderful treat! Looking forward to other wonderful musicals! Thank you!
Technicolor Dreamcoat was so-so.
by glamma60 on 1/13/15Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 3 out of 5We were a bit disappointed with this production. The narrator and lead seemed to be miscast. Their voices did not fit the range and type of music that was required for this production. We loved the lighting and visuals. We loved every scene that Joseph's brothers were in. We also loved that Pharaoh was an Elvis impersonator.

Very hard to understand the narrative, and especially the narrator. Choreography was great.
