Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was truly amazing! The singing and dancing was beautiful and the costumes really drew attention! The sign language interpreters were also fabulous! I recommended this to ALL my friends! It was entertaining, heartwarming and awe-inspiring/! In my group there were 5 people, from ages 11 to 65 and the show was great for everyone! A++++++

The play was amazing! Great use of the space. Excellent choreography. True to the original enough to make it fun, but yet some originality. Nationwide Children's Hospital Pleasure Guild did it again!! My only complaint is the sound didn't carry perfectly to the upper deck/balcony. I knew the songs by heart, so it wasn't a huge issue, but sometimes the lyrics were hard to understand because of this. View was ok. Assumed row A was front row. Surprised to see a row AA in front of us. Staggered seating would make it perfect esp for the little ones with us. Tall adults sat in front of us. :(

  • Great show!

We took our 6 and 10 year olds to see the play because we all really enjoyed the movie. It didn't disappoint. The music and props were really good. Joseph and the Narrator were both terrific, as well as the supporting cast. There were a couple of weak spots, but overall for the price, it was a fantastic way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

  • Excellent performance of Joseph!

by RVerm on 3/16/11Palace Theatre Columbus - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

The narrator and Joseph were perfect for the parts. They were as good as the Broadway version that I saw. The brothers were also excellent. The choregraphy was well done throughout. I was skeptical having so many children as part of the musical, but it was a nice blend. Overall, it was excellent

Show was very entertaining, innovative and enjoyable. We were impressed with both The Narrator and Joseph characters. They Both brought a lot of vocal talent and enthusiasm to the roles.

This play was more amazing then I thought it would be. My 14 year old grandaughter who is studying acting had a great time. Would recommend it to all my friends.

We took our daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren. We all loved it. What energy, color and very intertaining. We look forward to see the Wizard of Oz in 2012. Everyone wants to join the cast in 2012.

I didn't know what to expect but enjoyed the show completely. It was colorful, lively and upbeat. The narrator had a beautiful voice. You could tell the entire cast enjoyed doing the show. they did a great job of telling the story of Joseph. I would highly recommend this to others.

  • Joseph and the Amazing Tech. Dreamcoat-Amazing!

    by Nanamartin4 on 3/14/11Palace Theatre Columbus - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best plays we've seen. My husband, sister and I went on Saturday afternoon. It wasn't crowded at all. The music, costumes, performers...all were wonderful! Well worth the price we paid. Very enjoyable! Wish we had brought the grandchildren, they would have loved it.

  • Joesph and Technicolor was top notch

by Zeeboxer on 3/14/11Palace Theatre Columbus - ColumbusRating: 4 out of 5

The costumes were colorful and snazzy. The performers were very professional - very well-mic'd and easy to understand. Great crowd dancing sequences. Pop music for an Old Testament story. Plenty of singing and dancing talent for this show, to spare.

What an awesome play! Great job and congratulations to the entire cast. And a great cause for Childrens Hospital.

  • Joseph and the ATD was fantastic!

by Canalfamily on 3/14/11Palace Theatre Columbus - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

My family has owned the video from the Donny Osmond version of the play for many years, and we know and love the whole play and all the songs. This production was at least as good, if not better, than the video we have watched many, many times.

  • Well Done

by BookBaby on 3/14/11Palace Theatre Columbus - ColumbusRating: 4 out of 5

The Pleasure Guild shows are always great for the whole family and the price is excellent! I always need to remind myself ahead of time, though, that it is not going to be on the same caliber as the Broadway shows that often tour. Once I've made that mental adjustment, I'm always able to sit back and enjoy the offerings of the local talent putting on a fun show for a great cause!
