    Joseph was inspiring.

by Gogojoseph on 3/13/11Palace Theatre Columbus - Columbus

This was a very high energy show with a very talented cast? Joseph's voice was to die for. The narrator has a very clear and pure voice. This show was another great production to help support The Nationwide Children's Hospice and Pallative care services. The show was so good, we went back for two more shows. Thank you to the Pleasure Guild for putting on such great shows with a terrific emsemble of actor's.

This was an incredible show! I have seen it a few other times and it was one of the best!! The narrator had a beautiful voice, however, her outfits were a little "hip" for the musical.

    Left half-way through

by Christabella on 4/25/10Bridges Auditorium - Claremont

I left at intermission because it was disappointing and decided I would rather sit outside in the park. I wasn't aware it was a performance by children when I bought the tickets, but I thought it might still be good. However, the children did not actually "perform" but did "lipsynching" and the adults were mediocre. No power or impact. The impression I got was that this was a money-making scheme to cater to parents who want their children to be in some kind of play. I had no children in this performance and had brought my friend, for whom this was his first musical, so it was a waste of money for me and left a bad impression with my friend re: musicals. If this is supposed to be a children's performance, then let children be the stars. They are quite capable of being great performers, rather than simply props for the adults. The good points were that the transitions between songs were swift and the story carried it's own.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

by Dryfly on 3/24/10Lexington Opera House - Lexington

I have been privileged to see hundreds of plays over the past forty years from elementary school children to professional. I realize these are not professionals and would not want to critique them on professional standards. This being said the performance was OUTSTANDING. I have spend hundreds of dollars for tickets to Broadway shows that were not half the play this was. I am sure there have been many reviews about the main performers and their parts. These were some of the best I have seem from young actors and actresses, but I would like to credit all the performers from the small child extending her hand through the bars, to the background singers and dancers. It was the best entertainment dollars I have spend in several years and a bargain at the price. I will be looking forward to the next performance. Thank you for the these memories.

The students really brought the production to life! You forgot you were watching a high school musical with teenagers as the stars, it was very professional. The cast of Joseph was absolutely amazing! Each performer had talent!

The actors and musicians did a fabulous job with this Andrew Lloyd Weber production! As I watched, I often forgot I was watching HS students! The actor that played Joseph was amazing!

    Joseph's Dreamcoat was AMAZING!

by rigit on 3/21/10Lexington Opera House - Lexington

Thank you, SCAPA and SCAPA families, for presenting THE most entertaining Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! Your actors performed and sang flawlessly, the dancers were perfectly choreographed, the orchestra's music was quite professional, and the sets were terrific too. Best of all, it looked as if all the participants were having fun, and the audience certainly was! Congratulations on a stellar production!

    Truly "amazing".

by theatermama on 3/21/10Lexington Opera House - Lexington

Have no doubt. We will see Wood Van Meter on a Broadway stage someday soon. Great voice, great actor! Incredible energy. Beautiful sets and costumes. Incredible dancing. So muh fun. The curtain call alone was worth the price of admission. There was not a person in the theater not standing before the final number even concluded.

by Cinderellie on 3/20/10Lexington Opera House - Lexington

I loved this play! They sang the whole time, but it told the story well. All of the kids could sing well, and the dancers could dance. Joseph's brothers were hilarious! You should totally see this play! It is well worth it!!!!!!

    Energy Plus

by EnvSci on 8/24/09University of Denver-Newman Center-Byron Theatre - Denver

The play was wonderful! So much Energy. Could have had a different Joseph though, but the rest of the casting was right on. The Pharoah was the best I've seen (and I've seen this play at least a half dozen times.)

by Onespeedx on 8/24/09University of Denver-Newman Center-Byron Theatre - Denver

From opening act to curtain call, the cast brought energy to the stage and never disappointed. This is the type of musical that has you clapping your hands and laughing at every unexpected specticle. A truly authentic theatre experience that won't soon be forgotten.

    Very colourful

by ScottishDi on 8/15/09University of Denver-Newman Center-Byron Theatre - Denver

When we arrived early, we mistakingly got guided into a Koren event.. We asked several times if this was the correct place!!! So we didn't get a seat in the actual staging area, people took extra places with their handbags, the staff need to be aware of this and make sure the ushers have the correct information and that the people attending the event don't hog the seating. So after wasting 40 minutes we got to the correct place within minutes of the show starting... Me and my English friend had seen Joseph many years ago. We haven't been to the Bryon center previously and although small, it turned into a great evening and a cosy venue.. The cast had great vocals and we enjoyed ourselves.

We thoroughly enjoyed the show, Joeseph and the narrator belong on Broadway! The whole cast was great. The best off Broadway I have ever seen! Bravo!!
