    Very Funny

by rcasalejr on 4/7/13The Paramount - Huntington

Jon Lovitz was amazingly funny. One of the best comedy shows ever. Warm up acts are usually less funny than the headliner. Don't be swayed by reviews that the other two less funny. It is definitely a good time. Don't miss it.

    this comedy show was forgettable...

by Anonymous on 4/7/13The Paramount - Huntington

Nothing exciting or clever....so disappointed. Came late so missed Chris Kattan but have to say Jon Lovitz and Tim Meadows great talent did not come through this performance.

    Terrible!!!

by Anonymous on 4/7/13The Paramount - Huntington

I was so excited for this comedy event with three former SNL cast member. IT WAS TERRIBLE!!!. Chris Kattan may have had the worst stand up routine that I have ever heard. If he was not a celebrity and was at a regular comedy club, they would have boo'ed him off of the stage. At one point he even made a comment about how everyone was talking during his set. Tim Meadows was ok. Not the worst but definitely average. Jon Lovitz was on the stage for at least an hour. His jokes were hit or miss. Some were pretty funny and some were just not funny at all. For the money that we paid for the tickets and prestige of the three men, the night was pretty terrible. Definitely not worth the money and I would caution anyone that thought about buying these tickets to think again and go see some amateur comedians that actually try to do some new and edgy material.

    Loving It With Lovitz

by Allypal on 4/6/13Birchmere - Alexandria

Jon Lovitz blew me away. His command of the stage has not diminished over the years at all. In fact, He had a cold and still pulled off an amazing performance. If you want a good laugh, this is a really wonderful evening. One caveat: the woman sitting next to me brought her elderly mother who sat with a scowl on her face throughout all three performances. There were a lot of off-colored jokes, swearing, and themes that some could find offensive. Not all humor is for everyone. Do not bring your elderly parent if he or she does not want to be exposed to that kind of humor and language. Great job Jon!

    Lovitz: Yes / Others: No

by MortG on 4/6/13Birchmere - Alexandria

Chris Kattan was a waste -- only on a short time and his "joke" about bedding (not the word he used) an Olympic athlete wasn't funny. I would have liked to hear more of what Tim Meadows had to say. He was droll and smilingly funny. Jon, on the other hand, made the whole show. He was a trooper, fighting through a bad cough. The man is a comic genius. His riff on various terms that should never be used about various groups had me laughing with tears running down my eyes.

    Funny guys

    by superfun75 on 4/6/13Birchmere - Alexandria

As the headliner, Lovitz was very funny. His act was clever & well-delivered. Meadows was only on for a 1/2 hour at best, but you wish he could have stayed longer. He is funny and chill at the same time - a natural comic with excellent delivery. Kattan was the weakest of the three. He just seemed a little uncomfortable during his 15 minutes onstage.

Where are all these positive reviews coming from?

by NickCee on 4/4/13Birchmere in Alexandria, VA - Alexandria

My wife and I just saw Chris Katan, Tim Meadows and Jon Lovitz at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA. What a major disappointment! I thought they would do some sketch comedy or something interesting together but no go. It's just three sets of mediocre stand up comedy - that's it. Katan started it and stayed up about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, this was 10 minutes too long. He's not a stand up comedian and kept asking the audience if his jokes were OK. Really? You're asking us if they're OK? They're not but it's your job to entertain us so please try. No comic timing. Maybe 3 to 4 chuckles total from audience. Tim Meadows came on next and told us how hard it was because he just got divorced. Unfortunately he was divorced in 2005 and I heard this same routine in 2006. George Bush thought it was a blast mid-way through his second term, Tim! His routine was OK. A lot of white audience against black comedian stuff. I laughed once and there were a few funny points. Nothing special. Lovitz was on next and was not too funny. A lot of racial jokes (jews, n-word jokes, offensive Jesus jokes) and a lot of sexual stuff and swearing. Really just OK. Very few laughs from audience. I just saw Michael Regan last month and he does not swear. He was 100 times funnier than all three of these guys and the crowd was roaring. I would save my money on this Katan, Meadows, Lovitz show and buy the 1988 season of SNL on DVD. Many more laughs!

    Non Stop Laughter

by Prescia on 3/27/13Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

Jon Lovitz was hysterical, it was a very entertaining and amusing show. So glad we went, we had an excellent time. The opening acts were funny as well.

    One of the best shows

by DuneBuggyLawyer on 3/25/13Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

Jon Lovitz killed it. Treated the audience to a long show. Went to the second of his evening and he still put on a long energetic show that was thoughtfully prepared and well delivered. I think a legacy like this can get top ratings with a lesser quality show but he still rewards his audience by giving a stellar performance which makes you feel like you were glad to be there. Great comedy, too. Racial issues, profanity, politics, all were there like you expect from a comedian. Nothing was too polarizing on either side.. good satire.. nothing gratiuitious.. Thanks Jon

    Funny but

by Azflyboy on 3/13/13Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

Jon Lovitz was by far the star of the show, but Chris Kattan and Tim Meadows was just not that funny, with Chris Kattan being the least funniest. You could have saved two payroll checks by hiring a local person.

Former SNL Stars....Lovitz, Kattan & Meadows

by Anonymous on 3/3/13Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

Kattan had nothing to offer the show! Boring. Lovitz and Meadows were more entertaining but people were leaving while Lovitz was on stage. Wish I hadn't spent money on this show.

    Show was worse then TERRIBLE

by YogiBearra on 3/3/13Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

Chris Kattan and Tim Meadows were not funny. It did not appear that they had prepared any material in advance. Jin Lovitz's humor was crude. Spending a good portion of the show discussing the Octomom's body parts was not funny. Some people in the audience left before the show was even half over. It was definitely a waste of money.

    Disappointment

by azjane on 3/3/13Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

Jon Lovitz carried this event. The other boys were disappointing. Jon should have had the whole time slot.

Lovitz hilarious, Meadows okay, Kattan stinks

by LarKar on 3/3/13Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

If it wasn't for Jon Lovitz, this would have been a complete waste of money. Kattan opened the show and he was terrible. We were getting worried about the evening. Meadows followed and he was much better.. We were feeling encouraged.. Then came Lovitz. He was fantastic and had us rolling in the aisles! A very good singer too. Lovitz and Meadows should dump Kattan from the show.

    Mediocre show, uninspired

by BarbInAZ on 3/3/13Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

Oh there were some good laughs but it seemed stale and full of tired jokes and overused themes. Best thing was to learn what a great keyboard player Jon is and what a fantastic singing voice he has!

    Jon Lovitz was SENSATIONAL

by Marylouf on 3/3/13Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

His jokes were smooth flowing, and kept the audience on a constant roll of laughter. I have seen him before, and will see him again if he appears in Phoenix and surrounding areas, or Tucson which is my home. Yes I traveled up to Chandler to see him.

    Jon Lovitz stole the show!

by CamiDi on 3/3/13Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

If it wasn't for Jon Lovitz, the show would have totally bombed. Chris Kattan was terrible. He only had a couple of funny lines. During his entire performance, he was wiping his nose with his hands. He looked like someone woke him up. He acted like he really didn't want to be there and ended his time rather abruptly. Tim Meadows was a little better than Chris. He was professionally dressed and was funny. Most of his jokes were good but he did say one thing that was extremely insulting to Chandler, AZ. The best was left to the end. Jon Lovitz is a real professional. His jokes were great and the best was his musical performance. Besides having a great voice and playing the piano well, he was so funny. I laughed a lot during his performance. If it were not for Jon, I would not recommend this show to my friends. Jon was worth the effort.

    Snl was great

by Pnme on 3/3/13Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

All the comedians were funny. Great to see them again. Lovitz was lovable. Kattan seemed to have some issues with his nose. Meadows was hilarious as usual.
