  • Big Money is even bigger entertainment.

by granny janny on 10/2/25Orpheum Theater - MadisonRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was over the top. Lots of energy was going on. The main event was delayed by thirty minutes, and no explanation was provided. Many of the attendees, including my group, had drivers, and this created a lot of confusion.

  • Incredible

by JJinNE on 10/1/25The Astro Amphitheater - La VistaRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste provided an evening of joy and genius. Beyond his musical talent, the atmosphere he generated brought so much delight and New Orleans zest to the audience that we were loathe to leave. Best concert of all time.

  • Pros and Mostly Cons

by VMVMadison on 9/28/25Orpheum Theater - MadisonRating: 3 out of 5

My husband and I were not prepared for the music act before Jon Batiste - and Jon's subsequently late start (confirmed by an Orpheum staff). Longer than we planned for or were interested in. My husband, who is far more experienced than I am at attending concerts, found the instructions by Jon and the band to stand, etc., to be artificial. Jon and the band performed some numbers that we enjoyed, and the musicians are excellent; the vocalist is impressive. Overall, will be far more selective at attending any performances.

  • Listen, The Jon Batiste Experience Is Real!!

by Dr. Cathy on 9/28/25Orpheum Theater - MadisonRating: 5 out of 5

I love everything that I know about this man! I love everything that I know about this, genius, artist, and creator of unity. I won't, I can't label his genius. There is no box that Jon Batiste can fit into. Not one! The Jon Batiste experience was worth all of my coins!!! Factz.

  • Mind-glowingly awesome!!

by Lynn from Milwaukee on 9/28/25Orpheum Theater - MadisonRating: 5 out of 5

We saw the show in Madison. Mind-blowingly excellent. Jon is a brilliant musician and singer - and - also has this ability to relate to the audience in a remarkably authentic way. There was a man in a wheelchair near the stage and when Jon and the band members saw him, they made their way to him to acknowledge his presence. You just don’t see this in other performances. Jon is the real deal. And we send prayers that his wife heals from her cancer.

  • jon batiste in Madison

by lisa on 9/28/25Orpheum Theater - MadisonRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic. He and his band gave a dynamic and heartfelt performance. He told audience at beginning that they wanted to provide a spiritual experience. Indeed they did. I left the concert feeling 'revived and joyful' after being under their circus tent. Would have been more room to dance if it had been an outside show. . .

  • Fantastic show!!! A must see!!!
