  • Mindblowing!

by Hartbunny on 10/25/25Mershon Auditorium - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

This was hands down one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time. Jon’s energy and showman ship is off the charts. He was so personable and showed us so much love. I would venture to say he is one of the greatest people and artist around. Leaving his show was like having an 8-course meal and two deserts. Everyone left with a smile on their face and their spirit at ease. Don’t miss his show if you have an opportunity to see him in a city near you. You won’t be disappointed.

  • Best Concert EVER!

by Jan on 10/25/25Mershon Auditorium - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste and his band are amazing. Other than the tuba, Jon played every instrument. The show was like nothing I’ve ever seen. The audience was included in singing and dancing. The songs ranged from, “you are my sunshine,” to Big Money, to Beethoven’s 7th Symphony. The concert was uplifting and pure joy. What a treat.

  • He's a terrific entertainer! Great show.

by Judy on 10/25/25Mershon Auditorium - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

One big problem though! The show started 55 minutes late and with no explanation whatsoever! That's very disrespectful to the audience. 5 more minutes and we would have demanded a refund!

  • A unique talent

by Perchpike on 10/25/25Mershon Auditorium - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

Batiste is a prodigy (maybe genius?) musician who is at home in many genres, which is revealed in his concert. He jumps from instrument to instrument (mainly piano) and keeps the pace hopping throughout. Other musicians are excellent as well, with a shot-out to the sax player. Don't leave after the goodbyes, because the band re-emerges and the encores eventually go up the aisles and out into the lobby. The fun goes on and on. Everybody left on a musical high. Only complaint was that the concert started an hour late--people were getting impatient.

  • Loved the “second line” entrance

by Jo on 10/25/25Mershon Auditorium - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

He’s a very talented musician with amazing versatility. Loved the variation he musical styles/genres he presents. Would have preferred that he not start an hour late.

  • Batiste concert was amazing

    by Sally L on 10/25/25Mershon Auditorium - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

We had VIP tickets so we had the joy of meeting this masterful and gifted musician and being in the 2nd row! The music was uplifting, moving and joyful. His band are talented musicians and his singers incredible. Batiste engaged the audience all night. He exited the stage and played the encore walking through the crowd and personally greeting fans on his way out...& then he & the band did a second encore in the lobby! We are huge Jon Batiste fans and this concert did not disappoint! What an amazing musician and person!

  • Worth it!

by Dee on 10/25/25Mershon Auditorium - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

The show started a little later than expected but it was well worth it! I’m so glad I decided to go. He is talent personified and the band is elite! Now I need a trip to NOLA.

  • Fourth, may be the last

by CCD on 10/25/25Mershon Auditorium - ColumbusRating: 3 out of 5

This is the 4th time we’ve seen Jon Batiste. If it were my first experience, I would have never seen him again. He was almost an hour late to start the show. The show seemed very disjointed and disorganized. I hope it was just an “off” night for the band.

  • Phenomenal!!!

by JC on 10/24/25Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste and his band/singers were beyond exceptional. He is a musical savant - so talented! his band was fantastic too. We were up and dancing and singing along. He interacts with the audience, he played a lot of different musical genre's from Beethoven to Blues. If you can, get tickets and go see him. Don't miss it/him!!

by BD on 10/24/25Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

Jon is an angel on Earth, radiating love and peace to all. He is an incredible, genius musician and his band was amazing. If you ever have a chance to see him live, do it. Even if you aren’t familiar with his music. Once in a lifetime show. Bravo!

  • Best Concert I’ve Ever Been To

by SP on 10/24/25Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

Like the title says… it was the best concert I’ve ever been to. I’ve seen many performer/bands in all different genres, but I’ve never been to a show with this much musical talent and energy. I had no expectations when buying tickets, but Jon and his band blew us away for over 2 hours and blended 10 different genres of music throughout the show. It was incredible. 100/100. We’re now huge fans and hope to see him again on any tour in the future.

  • Jon is amazing

An absolutely fantastic performance, we had so much fun. It made me laugh, and it made me cry. I can’t complain one bit.

  • An Incredible Experience

by Ryanna on 10/24/25Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

“This is not a concert, this is a spiritual experience” and boy was Jon Batiste correct when he said that! This concert had the most talented musicians I’ve ever witnessed live and it was such a blessing to be in the room with them! He involved the audience in singing and dancing, and he spoke about love and healing! 10/10 would recommend seeing Jon Batiste live!

  • Fabulous

by Killy on 10/24/25Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

It was a spiritual experience. I went with no expectation and had an amazing time. His artistry is beyond comparison. The band was a joy to watch they were like children on the playground of music. I will definitely be adding him to the list of return artist to see again.

What a phenomenal experience! Jon Batiste brought the best of New Orleans sound to the Broward Center. From complex compositions to an elaborate take on “You are my Sunshine”. He and the band brought the house to it’s feet time after time. It’s been a long while since a show brought me this level of joy! Go see him !!

exciting, electrical, unstoppable. Extremely high quality musicians starting with Jon. Silver did a good job warming up, but I wouldn't have the break after her.

by Marty on 10/12/25Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

The entire show (including the opening act) was wonderful. Jon and the company on stage surprised, delighted and mesmerized me. So much dancing and singing…from the audience; including the encore that round its way into the lobby. I’ll never forget it.
