Jon Batiste is THE most joyful, talented artist to grace a stage! Fantastic energy at The Sylvee in Madison. Great band members and vocalist, too. Singing along to "Killing Me Softly"was so touching and seeing the band enter the crowd (even the balcony!) at the end of the night was truly memorable. Thanks, Mr. Batiste; you elevate my world and all others who listen to your music and see your smile.

  • Phenomenal.

by DJSequoia on 2/21/24The Fillmore - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Don’t miss a chance to see this flood of positivity and love. For 90 minutes all was well and beautiful in the world! On top of his virtuosity as a musician is his (and his band’s) outpouring of soul and joy - the humanity and kindness shine so brightly in a dark time.

  • Amazing show!

  • There needs to be 11 stars for this one

by Shelli on 2/21/24The Fillmore - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste is a virtuoso, an already-legend at a young age. I picked up resale tickets immediately after I saw his Grammy performance. This could not have been a better decision and could not have been a better show. Except maybe it could have been longer (it was an hour 15), but even that seems greedy. Jon played every instrument, and every genre! Soul, jazz, rock, classical! I can not describe how moving, how joyous, how deeply connected and how elated me and I'm assuming everyone else there was. And it is obvious how much Jon loves what he does. I'm also fairly sure he wrote a song or two on that very night. Be sure to see Jon in a small venue like the Fillmore soon - it won't be long until you can't anymore. What an absolutely uplifting show. Julliard was lucky to have him.

  • Oh my gosh!!!!!

by CoCo on 2/21/24The Fillmore - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

I bought tickets for 4. We all met in San Francisco and stayed overnight .We did not know what to expect. Jon Baptiste and his band were OUTSTANDING. We were smitten with their performance. They came out in the audience and we are all dancing with them. He is beyond a genius. Definitely, a must see again experience. Our son said it was one of his best concerts. I will agree. He’s in the Top Ten Club. You go Jon, we love you!!!!!!! The crowd kept things rolling. We sang, “the saints go marching in”, an old black spiritual. A little bit of all genres, blues, funk, rock and roll , also elementary school music. Jon is so beautiful and humble. I’m so glad that I bought tickets 🤟🏾

  • A Room of Energy and Positivity!

by Carol on 2/21/24The Fillmore - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Arriving at the historic Fillmore in San Francisco we saw a line. It went around 3 sides of the block & it was raining! Oh well... it moved quickly & efficiently and we were soon in a great venue. We are in our 70's so we're concerned about standing only. Jon Batiste came on stage and the theater came alive with music, song, dance and so much positive vibes! He performed all my favorites and then some! Loved every minute!! Bravo!!

  • Joy, pure joy

by BB on 2/21/24The Fillmore - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Jon's music is contagiously joyful, soulful, and amazing technically (thinking of the encore he did all by himself, blown away, I wished there was a recording of it). All over one of the best concerts I've ever been.

  • Go! Get tichets. NOW.

by Ms. Menlo Park on 2/21/24The Fillmore - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best concerts I've heard and seen, and during which I couldn't stop moving, singing and whooping. Still hoarse three days later. Was already a maniacal admirer of JB, and now that will never end. He's ridiculously gifted musically, multi-talented as a performer and you can't help but love his deep, warm soul. Sure seems like he's having a great time being with his audience. Wish he'd sung longer, but he had a second show to do that evening. Fellow female singer was amazing and the hotshot band was a delight...added so much to the evening. The venue was disorganized during admission process and, at exit, was frightening—1300 people trying to leave by one front-entry door. Quite slow...took at least 20 min. Tried to leave by back entrance illuminated by EXIT sign, but was denied by venue staff person. A fellow concert goer and I both remarked that we were trying hard not to think about the catastrophe that would transpire if someone yelled "fire,"or there was another emergency. Can't imagune these parameters in a venue are legal. The Fillmore is a treasured spot by msuic lovers, full of nostalgia and mementos...but it's time for redesign and upgrade of traffic flow procedures.

  • Jon Batiste - Terrific Talent/Performer

    by mrsl500 on 2/21/24The Fillmore - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

After seeing Jon on TV playing 1 song a year ago, I wanted to see him live. Not knowing hardly any of his music I did not know if he would be as good. Now I know - Jon is amazing - So talented and what a terrific performer. What a Great show.

  • Joyful and inspiring

by Tarah on 2/20/24Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Wow what a beautiful show. So unusual to fill filled with hope and love when you leave a concert. Jon Batiste is first and foremost a dazzling musician but his music was only a tiny part of what made this show so brilliant. Couldn't stop smiling...and dancing.

  • Jon Batiste in Seattle

by BBT on 2/20/24Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 3 out of 5

I think Jon. Batiste is an amazing musician in so many ways and I was excited to see him in concert. I went to a lot of effort and expense to make it happen. However I was disappointed with his show. I felt his voice was over whelmed by his band and especially the female singer. Also we were often blinded by the bright yellow stage lights, perhaps it was where our seats were located. I feel bad complaining but you asked for an honest answer. I still think he is something special and will continue to love his music.
