  • Mind Boggling

by Patty RRT on 3/11/24The Sylvee - MadisonRating: 5 out of 5

We arrived early and stood in front of the stage. Jon is the ultimate entertainer! Is there anything he can't do? He played all instruments and his voice was mezmerizing. If that isn't enough, he was smiling, laughing and enjoying himself the whole time. He was respectful and interactive with fellow band mates. I am so grateful to have seen this amazing , talented , kind man.

by Vicki on 3/6/24Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

The people packed in to see Jon Batiste and his band and they did not disappoint! High energy electrified the fans while Jon played nearly every instrument on stage by the end of the night! This is a must see show!

  • Fantastic show, wonderful venue

by Suzi on 3/6/24Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

Jon Batiste gave the ultimate professional, high energy performance with a nice cool down at the end. The crowd was so supportive and positive. The venue is reminiscent of the funky and psychedelic 60’s. But…is it really necessary, except from a profitability standpoint, to have easy access continuous alcohol service throughout the show? It adds to obnoxious crowd behavior and disrupts the performance. Just saying.

  • Great venue. EPIC concert!

by Imawinna on 3/6/24Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Love the Tabernacle, not a bad seat in the house. John Batiste and his excellent band connected with the crowd from start to end. I have never witnessed a performer who exudes such contagious joy and positivity. The concert was part musical masterclass and part religious experience. I know this sounds over the top, but it was what it was.

  • The best musical experience of my 80 year life

by rchard on 3/6/24Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

From the moment he bounded on stage he absolutely electrified all of us at the Tabernacle. We tried to keep him there all night. Besides his band ,singers and dancers virtuoso performances, I loved it when we got to serenade him with "Killing Me Softly"during his encore. It was a true musical love fest. Unforgettable

  • Sensational!

by Dawn Marie on 3/5/24The Fillmore Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Not a singer, not a musician, not a dancer but all of the above! A positive, entertaining, magnificent performer ❤️

  • Transcendenant!!!

    by Paul V on 3/5/24The Sylvee - MadisonRating: 5 out of 5

What did I think? In short, words cannot do justice. People alive right now have no idea how blessed they are to be in the same time and place as Jon Batiste. With the Jazz bona fides of a Herbie Hancock, the showmanship of a Prince, and the musicality and transcendental qualities of a Stevie Wonder!!! This man is a Buddha, Guanyin, Angel, (call it what you want) on Earth. I’ve seen a LOT of concerts, from classical to progressive metal and all points in between. This was definitely a top 5 lifetime experience. And I think maybe the only time in my life I’ve actually cried tears of joy during a song I’d never heard before (Butterfly). From the least religious man you’ll find: “God Bless Jon Batiste!”

  • Amazing concert!!!

by Pmpsych on 3/3/24Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Concert was amazing from start to finish- engaging performing, interaction with audience and strutting down the aisle at the end! Jon Batiste is a mega talented master of voice, instruments and genres. You cannot walk away feeling bad from this concert! I feel good!!

  • Fantastic Experience

by CSWright on 3/2/24Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

This was one of the best concerts I have ever attended. Jon was engaging, talented, spirited and kept us on our feet during most of the concert! The band did an excellent job as well. They received a standing ovation before a single note was played! They had us singing, dancing and enjoying every number! I would highly recommend that if you like Jon Batiste that you attend one of his upcoming appearances. I have been humming or singing his songs all week!

  • Awesome Show

by Karen on 3/2/24Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Started about 30 minutes late. Was over earlier than any concert we have ever been to. Show was great, but should have been much longer.

  • A Consummate Entertainer

by Phil on 3/2/24Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste displayed excellent musicianship in his Indianapolis concert, but he is an even better entertainer. I attended the concert with very little exposure to his music. I'd seen him on Colbert, where he came off as a pretty laid-back dude. That's not who you get in concert. Batiste is exuberant, energetic and fun. His vocal range is impressive. He successfully engages audience participation without awkwardness. His band and vocalist are perfectly suited to the show. They won't amaze you with virtuosity, but that's not the point-They put on a great show. Jon Batiste delivers a positive message and vibe without preaching. If you need something to lift your spirits, go see Jon Batiste.

  • Best Ever

by Moochie on 3/2/24The Fillmore Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Let me add I am a John definitely a fan now one of best performances I have attended. Despite the uncharacteristic seating arrangements the performance was over top. The venue didn’t due him justice or respect on the handling of the seating. Thanks

  • Superb Showman!

by Feldest on 3/2/24Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste is a Master entertainer and how terrific to see him in such an intimate setting. Wish we knew how much of his show is improvisation? He blended in with our somewhat elderly Indianapolis audience seamlessly, encouraging everyone to not just observe, but participate and lifted us all up to a higher plain. He had everyone on their feet and begging for more by the end of the show. He is a supreme musician, composer, singer, dancer and his joyful, positive energy is contagious. We can't wait to see what he does next. Our time is BLESSED with this insanely gifted human being. Thank you Jon Batiste for coming to our neck of the woods!
