The most talented versatile musician in the world. He had us standing the entire show and it was a huge wonderful party celebrating life love and spirit. The best ever.

This concert was so energizing and joyful. Everyone should experience a Jon Batiste concert!

  • Short, high energy but too much audience participation

by SteveinActon on 3/19/24Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

I'm a big fan but this show did not meet expectations. The 75-90 minute show 1/3 of it was disappointing lyrics repeated incessantly with the audience. The last 10 minutes the band walked through the 3 seating levels doing the same. Songs included the childhood song "You are my Sunshine"and Willie and the Chocolate Factory. That said, many enjoyed this participation element of the show it's just not for me.

  • Phenomenal Experience!

    by Ages 10 - 92 on 3/19/24Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

WOW! We knew Jon Batiste was going to enfold us in love and blow us away all at the same time . . . we had no idea that every single member of the band was going to do that, too! We were a group of five, from age 10 to age 92 and we ALL felt like this was the best night of our lives!

  • Awesome Genius!

by Kason on 3/19/24Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

See John Baptiste, if you possibly can. He’s one of our great national, music treasures. Someday, you’ll pay hundreds of bucks to see him at a big arena but right now you can see him joyfully leading his band on a New Orleans style march through the auditorium. A wonderful, joyous evening of music!

  • Stunning!!!

An hour and 40 minutes of pure musical joy. Jon Batiste is as gifted a musician as ever lived and puts on a spectacular show. Across genres and instruments, he creates a transcendent musical experience that is just so much fun. Do not miss this guy!!

  • Amazing Performance!

by nhlawyer on 3/19/24Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

John Batiste brought everyone to their feet immediately and they never sat down. He was the most lively and incredible performer that I have ever seen. His talent is overwhelming; playing the piano, the mouth organ, the saxaphone, drums, organ and guitar just shows what an amazing talent he is. I would go to see him again and again.

  • See Jon Batiste now before his show grows

by Brenda on 3/18/24Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

It feels like Jon Batiste is on the verge of expanding into arena tours. See him now while he is still performing in theaters and concert halls. It’s a fun and emotional experience. His gigs are relatively short - an hour and a half - and full of good vibes.

  • Fantastic

by Rick on 3/17/24MTELUS - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

We came from Florida for the show, and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen. Considering the fact that I am over 70, that is saying volumes.

  • Crowded venue but awesome performance

by WolfLP on 3/16/24MTELUS - MontrealRating: 4 out of 5

Standing room at Mtelus was not a great experience but Jon came out pretty much on time and really delivered. Backup band was good.. Both new and past hits performed. Highly recommend this show.

  • Exhilirating

by Lee on 3/16/24MTELUS - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Jon brings spiritual energy like no one else. Looking around the audience where everyone is having a great time. Smiles for miles. A sight to see. I need to see Jon Batiste again to make sure he’s real. Tanglewood this summer. 🎹🎙️

  • Jon Batiste- What a phenomenal and generous performance!

by Louise on 3/15/24Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Jon is an amazing performer that totally engages the audience. His energy and creativity are inspirational. However, the sound was needlessly loud. Massey Hall has amazing acoustics and the performance required significantly less amplification. A generous soul saw my fingers in my ears and offered a pair of earplugs which I used throughout the show. It was an amazing and unforgettable evening. Thank you to Jon and his colleagues and the staff at Massey Hall.

  • Never sit in Sections 301 or 311 at Massey Hall

by Obstructed on 3/15/24Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

It was an incredible show. Jon Batiste put on an amazing performance. Our seats however, were absolutely horrible. The line of sight from where we were sitting only allowed us to see 50% of the stage and the sound system suspended from the ceiling blocked 70% of that limited view. Never buy seats in sections 301 or 311 at Massey Hall. They shouldn't be allowed to even sell these.
