I saw Jon Batiste in a smaller venue-Fillmore Charlotte and it was Pure Magic. Do Not Miss a chance to see Genius.

  • Best Performer right now!!

by Jay on 3/25/24Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Spectacular show. Beyond what I thought it was going to be. How can someone be that musically talented?!! Plus we got a special performance by Trombone Shorty.

  • Speechless and Fun

by Kat on 3/24/24Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

It was amazing, from the first performance to the last. It was a feel good jam session with the extra surprise performance with Trombone Shorty. I want to participate in another one of Jon Batiste's shows.

  • WOW WOW WOW!!!

by Vicky on 3/24/24Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome experience...and experience it was! Jon had us out of our seats dancing, singing laughing and humming old standards. His presence is infectious and you are a better human being after sharing his time and space. I was so sad for the concert to end.

  • So much energy and love

by Louise on 3/24/24Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste was amazing. He generated so much energy I was on my feet most of the time. When Trombone Shorty turned up it was a love fest between two old friends, both incredible musicians. What a night! The only trouble I had was with the Warner Theaters practice of selling drinks without lids and not offering cup holders. So many people on their feet and one of them knocked over a drink that spilled onto the floor by my feet where I had stashed my purse and the merch that I bought. What a mess. Message to Warner: sell only drinks with sealable lids!!

An absolutely wonderful experience! Jon’s performance was amazing and it was such a treat to have Trombone shorty join him for a few performances. Uplifting, euphoric, and joyful are just a few adjectives that come to mind!!!

  • A Rockilling Adventure in Musical Excellence

by dd on 3/24/24Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Just a feel good time! Jon hosted a down home Bayou party; introduced us to the classics; took us to church; and mixed in music therapy, some acoustic harmonies and his signature jazz/pop fusion originals.

  • One of the most enjoyable evenings I have

    by Shelly N on 3/24/24Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

One of the most enjoyable evenings I have ever had. A theater filled with people from across the generations their to dance, sing and raise each other up. Mr. Batiste talent and enthusiasm is unsurpassed and his band and dancers supported that fully. Two packed hours of joy highlighted by the appearance of Trombone Shorty for a couple songs, a second line through the theater, and a encore of jams between Jon, his band and the audience. Highly recommended, and bring your dancing shoes!

This concert was so incredible it may be the best of my entire life - past, present and future. The musicality, the beauty, the pure joyfulness of sound and of the performers creating and performing was simply phenomenal. The Warner Theater was a perfect venue to hear the grace, to feel connected, to enjoy the experience. My spirit was lifted by the crowd sing alongs to unexpected tunes, by the unity of crowd participation in song, dance and pure joy. Thank you to Jon for sharing his remarkable gift of song and loving, uplifting essence.

  • A genius

by David on 3/24/24Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste brings love and joy to his audience. He’s a genius performer with the work ethic of Springsteen, the charm of Harry Connick, Jr. and the creativity of Prince. One of the best shows I’ve even seen.

  • The Show and Suit Did Not Disappoint!!

by Queen Elizabeth on 3/24/24Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I expected the uber talented Jon Batiste to put on a great show. He and his backup band and singers did just that. A wonderful panoply of songs and performances designed to demonstrate his versatility. Energetic. Translated to the audience. Dancing in the aisles.

Best concert of my life- so amazed at the talent, energy and empathic beauty of Jon Batiste’s performance- his amazing band and singers/dancers - a must to see in anyone’s lifetime - multigenerational audience was impressive!

  • What a performance by Jon Batiste!!

by Tamikj on 3/22/24Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Jon Batiste was beyond exceptional. However, I had the unfortunate position of sitting next to someone who was extremely oversized and flowed into my seat and my standing space when we all stood to enjoy the performance. I wish the ushers had found a way to find that oversized woman an aisle seat so that I didn't have to spend the evening scrunched up and trying not to move. I was cramped and uncomfortable for 2.5 hours.

Jon Batiste is a national Treasure. He combines showmanship with musicianship in a way that is rarely seen. The crowd, including me, was mesmerized from beginning to end. It was definitely one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. Already have tickets to his next event in the area.
