  • Run, don't walk if you get this chance

Jon Baptiste delivers. Period. More specifically: joy, love, charisma, once-in-a-lifetime musical genius, hope, healing and the importance of drinking water and taking deep breaths ;-). He imparts his connection with community onto and, literally, into the audience. If you don't know one word or melody of his songs, you'll love this concert. If you know all the words and melodies, he won't disappoint. My only regret is that I can't quit my job and follow him around for every show.

  • Incredible

by Tg on 6/9/24Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

We were already fans. Having watched him on the Late Show and having seen him solo in Tucson, we were prepared for a fun outing. The positive energy exploded from the first moment. His goal is obviously to turn sorrow to joy, hate to love, chaos to unity. Our only concern was the show seemed to be ending after about an hour. Too short. That was the "formal"show. The adlib, off the cuff, meander took over and released him and his troop to get down to fun including weaving throughout the audience and 45 minutes later we were completely sated. Incredible musician, better person.

  • Amazing show!

Incredible show. Incredible vibe. Perfect venue. Can’t stop thinking about it.

  • It had potential

by Adam on 6/9/24Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden - BoiseRating: 2 out of 5

Show started nearly an hour past showtime. Jon didn't say a thing about it, which would have went a long way. I was excited to hear Jon Batiste but 85% of the full hour he played was "jam band"stuff. Maybe it's my fault for not knowing, but I thought he would play more songs. The singing he did was INCREDIBLE but the concert honestly sucked.

  • Best concert I’ve ever been to

by TKM on 6/9/24Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been to a lot of performances and this was by far my favorite. He connects with the audience like nobody I’ve ever seen.

  • Very uneven

by 🎶😄 on 6/9/24Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden - BoiseRating: 2 out of 5

Difficult to enjoy the performance for several reasons. The first was coming out and pretending to play electric guitar. Next was pretending to play the saxophone. He had all the movements, but none of the sound. Several times the sound was pre-recorded. And there was no flow to the action. I was expecting something much better. Just for comparison, we saw The Wailers the night before and Curtis Stigers two nights before that. Much better shows.

  • Fantastic show

Jon is simply a musical genius. Do not miss him touring!

  • Disappointing

by Rick on 6/8/24Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Really like Jon and his music…and all the good things he has done as a human being!! But, I was disappointed that he was almost 45 minutes late in starting the show…and then only played for about and hour and a half! The songs were TOO long…smaller number of songs…that went on forever!

  • Sound was great but…

by Doug on 6/8/24Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Jon Batiste is awesome but he came out on stage 40 minutes late and due to noise rules, could only play for 1hr 20 mins. Wish we could have heard more. Venue and staff were great.

  • Disappointed

by Ktnelly on 6/8/24Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 3 out of 5

I was so excited for this show unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. The show was due to start at 7 o’clock. He did not start until 745 7:50 PM and the show was over by 8:10. Several of his songs were just jingles, happy birthday song, etc., for the amount of money people pay the logistics of going to the winery. I expected so much more.

  • Jon Batiste

by Big Kahuna on 6/8/24Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Jon Batiste is an amazing composer, singer, and musician. He kept the crowd waiting almost 45 minutes to start the show, no good excuse for that. He played for just over an hour. Disappointing. Also, he had minimal stage presence. I'll still be a fan of his music; but, I won't pay to see him again.

  • Venue great - didn't like the kid songs

by Disappointed on 6/8/24Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 1 out of 5

The concert was very short - about an hour. He spent half of his time on stage playing kid songs - "If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands", "You are my sunshine", "When the saints come marching in", etc. His last song was a 20 minute, repetitive and drawn-out kazoo number. He is very talented and multi-instrumental -- but the kid songs and time-filling riffs detracted from the overall concert.

  • Very short concert

by Nola on 6/7/24Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

Is it cool to be half an hour late and then play for an hour? Song choices were weak He is amazing I would have liked to see him play his music for a little longer. 😕

  • Absolutely spectacular performance!!!

by Mina on 6/7/24Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I traveled all the way from the US to Canada to experience Jon Batiste’s artistry at a beautiful venue with other enthusiastic people. He did not disappoint. He is multitalented. During his performance he touched almost every genre of music, played lots of instruments, and sang passionately from his soul. He took us on a musical journey from New Orleans jazz to classical masterpieces! My most memorable moments were singing along to “we are born the same” and “if you’re happy and you know it.” I left the theater feeling blessed and grateful for humble and kind artists like Jon Batiste. I’m going to see him again at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Please make plans to be there. It’s money well spent.

  • Fantastic Concert!

by Kate on 5/23/24Hershey Theatre - HersheyRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste is a very talented and spiritual entertainer. As a fellow musician, I appreciate his musical abilities and the "streamings"with which he regaled his audience. The connection with the audience was fabulous and made for a very fun and enjoyable evening. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us in Hershey, PA!

  • A Force

by JRT50 on 5/19/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste's talent is unmatched! As he combines the freedom and uninhibited nature of his personality with the knowledge and technique of his playing, Jon Batiste's music flows easily through the audience. Even through Batiste's most classical of music, you can still hear the Familial heart and depth of his New Orleans jazz background. The joy with which Jon Batiste approaches music makes him an absolute force!

  • This is Genius!!

by Larry K on 5/16/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

There are only a few performers that are geniuses at what they do, where the music just seems to flow out of them. Jon Batiste is one of them. His ability to transition from one genre to another seamlessly is truly astounding. He also exudes such joy in performing and brings the audience along with him. For me personally, he joins Jimi Hendricks and Prince as musical geniuses.

  • Dedicated concert goer

He was phenomenal and created such a position experience. Surprised that the audience was able to take flash photography
