  • Jon was great mics not so much

The music (instruments) was amazing. The microphones for the singers were not the best inhibiting a wonderful experience.

  • Amazing talent! Amazing human!

From the minute that Jon Batiste appears on stage there is an instant connection with the audience. This is truly an experience that is hard to describe. There are nothing but good vibes and positive energy. He truly loves what he does and you feel so fortunate to be part of it. Each song is special and meaningful. Jon does encourage the audience to sing along, dance, and just have the best time. His musical talent is incomparable. I have been to three of his concerts and look forward to attending many more!

  • Joyful man of amazing talents!

by Julie on 9/10/24Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste is such a joyful man, a person who grins all the way to the tips of his toes! He radiates light, as does his band. Loved the mix of originals, piano riffing, fresh takes on beloved oldies (If you’re happy & you know it!), full stage of musicians, just Jon, small group…a great night!

Saw Jon 10 years ago at the Exit ‘0’ Jazz Fest with Simple Human . . He was amazing and now, as his career has really taken off, he was just as amazing . . His performances are never a disappointment !

  • Tour de Force Performer

by Stormy Sue on 9/10/24Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Jon is a tour de force performer with his deep soulful nature at the helm. His music is transportive and uplifting! I would love to hear his incredibly inspiring and joyful rendition of Beethoven's Fur Elise. I can't wait to see Jon and his super talented singer and band again soon.

  • EXCITING!

by Beagle on 9/10/24Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Exciting! Jon has amazing talent and energy. Really positive show. Loved the female vocalist: her voice, her energy...as well as the other musicians. The show "included"the audience, even though the venue was large. I would love to see the show in a smaller venue.

  • All things considered...a 5!

by EC Blues on 9/10/24Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The music was extremely loud during the first part of the show and some of the lights were painfully bright when they hit you in your eyes. BUT, all things considered, I would rate this show FIVE STARS! The music was uplifting, inspiring, emotional, creative, and most of all FUN! I'm telling everyone, if you have the opportunity, see Jon Batiste in concert! I know I will the next time I have the chance. I'll just put in ear plugs when the sound gets a little too loud.

  • Most excellent show bar none!

  • Great Petformance

by WendyR on 9/10/24Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste at Radio City Music Hall - great experience from entry to exit. Very smooth operation at the Hall. Did not run into any long lines anywhere though it was a sold out concert. Jon Batiste gave a great performance - full of energy and joy. Dynamic and thoughtful with a positive message. As he said “ it’s not just music it is a spiritual practice.” So glad to have been part of this experience and traveled 5 hours to do so.

  • Jon Batiste is a gift

by Tatiana on 9/10/24Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste is, indeed, a spiritual experience. He is as extraordinarily a talented musician as he is generous artist and human being. He genuinely inspires hope.

  • Amazing show and venue

  • He's a genius!

by zzk on 9/10/24Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Jon always gives an amazing show. Music is the air he breaths and it is filled with spirituality. I and others sitting in the first rows center of the mezzanine found the first half sound horrible! Too loud and it muffled Jon's singing so his wonderful lyrics were completely lost. Bass sounds rattled our seats and high sounds were piercing. Many talked about it as they left. The second half which was with less instruments and nothing electronic was more balanced. Even his brilliant piano solos had piercingly loud notes on the Steinway! We had seats that should have had perfect acoustics. He deserves better. And this was the second show, so it could have been improved.

This was the second time I had seen Jon on his tour this year, and I wish I could've gone even more. He is such a magnetic and energetic performer, and has so much talent it is an absolute privilege to watch.
