  • Phenomenal Artist

by Charg on 11/14/25The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste sang and played his heart out for three hours at the Anthem. He and his marvelous band put on a spectacular show. I wish our seats had been better. So much of the building is meant for people to stand and enjoy the show which does not work at my age. No shade on the sound, however. It was the best we've heard in many trips to hear music around the country.

  • one of the best concerts of the year

by Jane on 11/9/25The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste is magic. I was so impressed with his show in Houston that I bought a ticket to Washington DC. It was that good. The joy and love collectively experienced by the audience will stay with me a long time.

  • Jon Batiste is awesome

by CAV on 11/3/25The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

We just love Jon Batiste, and was looking forward to seeing him in person. He is an amazing musician. He didn't disappoint. The come on act, the folk singer was just OK. Could have done without her and just let Jon start the concert. It was just TOO LONG between acts. Waiting over half hour for Jon to begin was just crazy.

  • A Phenomenal Show

by Raymond on 11/3/25Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste is a great, multi-talented musician and entertainer. His band and background singer were great. His performance is one of the best concerts I have seen and he gives his all to the audience. The simplest word to describe his show is "OUTSTANDING". I will never miss one of his concerts!!!

  • A Revelation

by Lee on 11/3/25The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

There is no better performer than Jon Batiste. Springsteen is a phenom but Jon brings it all home.

  • Outstanding experience

    by E Waugh on 11/3/25The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

This was much more than a concert. This was a revival full of joy. The venue was perfect for this event. The people that work there were very professional and helpful. Cannot wait to go back to the anthem. But also John Baptiste is I think the most talented musician alive.

  • A variety show revival under the big top

by Staying Human on 11/3/25The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste and her merry band of artists gives a broad and deep musical revival. Best show I’ve been to in a long while. He hits allll your emotions and the pacing of the show brings everyone together in the experience. There is joy on the stage that is palpable and contagious.

  • A Banger Every Time!!!

by Kat on 11/3/25The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Batiste is an amazing musician. The band was incredible, his lead singer phenomenal, the congo player was magnificent. Jon Batiste always has amazing special guests, last year in DC it was surprise -Trombone Shorty, this year Andra Day. We will see him perform every opportunity we get. His shows bring spiritual healing filled with love & joy. My favorite musical artist, bar none. So talented, we got classical, blues, soul, funk, pop, R&B, etc. in one show.

  • All spectacle, little substance

    by Dana C on 11/3/25The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 3 out of 5

We were very excited to see Jon Batiste live. We don’t know his music intimately, but we sure like what we’ve heard. The show, however, was disappointing in terms of actually hearing him perform his songs. There was lots of spectacle, dancing, guests, and costumes. Where were the SONGS? Where was the singing, and the heart??

  • Tardy

by Leo on 11/3/25The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 2 out of 5

Show was supposed to start at 8, opening act started at 8, finished at 8:20. Main act could have started soon thereafter. Main act starter eventually around 9:30. Artists however big ought to stick to promised schedules.
