John Kay & Steppenwolf Tickets

Unless you are a die hard Wolf fan and love every obscure song they put out, you go to these concerts to hear the few HITS they have mixed in with some listenable tunes . This concert was all about their struggles, growth and mixed emotions of those times supposedly reflected in their music. I didn't get that but I'm not a die hard.. This wouldn't have been a problem if they had mixed in some of their HITS along this journey however they decided to let you hang way too long for what most come for. This wasn't the Magical Carpet ride I was looking for, so we left before we could be Born to be Wild.

I was impressed that John Kay and Steppenwolf still brought all of the energy that I remember from years ago. The music was great and I enjoyed the play list.

John Kay was playing to himself. His voice is barely recognizable. That is to be expected for a performer his age. The issue is that the set list was almost as bad as it could get. He played his two super hits and one that iwi always be great, Leaving out Pusherman,Don't Step on the Grass Sam amongst other greats in favor of what must be his personal favorite B tracks was totally inexcusable!! I only wish I could demand my money back. A total waste of time!!

enjoyed the concert all the way!! We sat on the floor next to last row, but seats next to the center aisle. I really enjoyed the videos they played of the original videos while they sang those songs!

Totally awesome, wish I could go again. If anyone get a chance to go to see them I would highly recommend. Great night.

Great show with great music. Show was very energetic.

This concert was SUPER GOOD--John Kay stopped a minute before almost each song and gave a little history of the music which was stuff that we would have never known or even cared about when we were younger in the 70"s--There was also an excellent video that was played on big screens along with his performance!!! We had a great evening of re-living our youth!!!

Delta Downs has a small event center which was a perfect setting for a veteran performance by John Kay & Steppenwolf. The well thought out arrangement of the song list and John Kay's dialogue between songs guided the audience through a great evening of entertainment. The big screens on each side of the stage projected live pictures of the stage, interspersed with the play back of vintage videos of John Kay & Steppenwolf perfectly time to match the live performance. The sound quality could have been better and the stage lighting was not well planned. The main issue was that the spotlight directed at John continuously reflected off of the bass drum and back out into the audience. The issues were truly minor compared to the great performance, that was enjoyed by all in our group.

Great concert, good seating, and actually started on time. John Kay was great giving a little background information on each song in the set. Certainly entertaining and taking me back to my teenage years. I would see it again

They were great but did not get to play the full set. Show was almost rained out. The facility has two stages, they should have moved all the main acts to the smaller stage so that we could have seen all the acts. DID NOT GET TO SEE S A LIGHTS from San Antonio. They are a really great Journey Tribute band!!!!

Even though we had to wait for almost 3 hrs., because of waiting for the rain to stop. It was worth the wait.

foghat played only 3 songs and the other main band played for 20 minutes! horrible weather! rained everything out! the tribute band never came out at all!

This was the Best Concert I have seen in years!! I loved how they played old footage on the big screen while the band played the song live!! John still sounds amazing. We will be looking for the next time they come around. Just an Awesome night of Great music, and memories!!!

Had fun, could of played longer and done without the political slide show. Not what i paid to see.

John Kay & Steppenwolf put on an a great show, I was able to see them 2 years ago in a different venue, that was a much better venue but the show was not as long. I love the graphics and vintage videos, this concert had so much more than 2 years ago. This kind of reminded me of a high school auditorium, metal chairs on all one level floor. Nobody stood up, or even tried to snap a picture, very polite crowd, I wouldve of liked to at least rock out a bit at the end, especially the encore but this crowd was just to polite to even stand up and have a litle fun. I will never miss a John Kay & Steppenwolf show that is taking place in my area of the world but I will always hope for a better concert atmosphere!

Thoroughly enjoyed the concert. Venue was great. The band really rocked it!

One more band off my bucket list. The venue was intimate and John Kay and the band did not disappoint. Awesome video retrospective on two large screens synced with the music was a nice touch.

We could feel the wolf as we got in the Ho-chunk i knew, it was going to be a good night with Steppenwolf, Have been a fan of theres back to 1968! and have seen them 50 time's and have all there music. I guess the that night will not forget how the people there to see steppwolf got up out of there seat's and sang along, put there hands in the air! we all had fun, there were ages of people there from 16years old to 75 years old, hope to see them again some time when they are in the tri, state's. thank's Cool Donnie.

I have seen Steppenwolf numerous times and am a Fan Club Member. I loved the entire evening, just not the seating arrangement!
