  • Amazing

    by Hed-Head on 3/21/22State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

I have loved Hedwig since highschool and I went in not having listened to or watched the movie/soundtrack in at least 10 years. Immediate tears at the first chords of Origin of Love. This was one of the better shows that I have been to and the crowd was so lovely. JCM and Amber Martin were spectacular!

  • Brilliant!

JCM had me in tears at the first song. It was nostalgic, but modern. Funny, heartfelt. I strongly recommend

  • Beautiful, emotional, amazing

No More Walls!!! JCM delivered with personal stories of the making lf Hedwig, plus bonuses like Bowie and Big Star, would give him 100 stars if i could!!

  • Fantastic Free-for-all!

    by Nate B. on 3/2/20Moore Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

John Cameron Mitchell put on one hell of a show last Thursday night! He and his band, and back-up singer, and live graphic artist/projectionist worked together seamlessly in a wonderfully rambling, honest, disjointed, and ultimately intimate performance that felt more like hanging out with JCM and a few hundred of his best friends than watching a show. Songs from "Hedwig..." and "Anthem: Homonculus" interspersed with stories from Mitchell's life, and Hedwig's life, and the lives of those around him, and the lives of random audience members. The man can truly command a stage, and an audience. He gave us everything we could have asked for, and kept us wanting more.

  • Great show, accessibility could use work

Why aren't there any hand rails? Really hard to get up and down the stairs without hand rails. Disabled folks like to go to shows too!

  • What a treat to see it in Seattle!

by Bobster on 3/1/20Rating: 5 out of 5

JCM is an amazing performer and a speaker/lecturer. The show is super energized with glamour and punk combined. The multi talented musicians understands the concept of a musical performance and rock performance at the same time. This is one of the shows that I can proudly say “I was there” and it was unforgettable. My friends and I are still talking about it!

  • I love John Cameron Mitchell

This show made me laugh and it made me cry. I wanted it to carry on through out the night! I am truly heartbroken to have not discovered the opportunity to meet the beautiful John Cameron. I’m pretty sure I’m his biggest fan.
