Jim Jefferies on Tour

Jim Jefferies is one of the most popular and respected comedians of his generation, entertaining audiences across the globe with his provocative, belief-challenging, and thought-provoking comedy. He was recently named one of the top 5 touring comedians in the world.

After receiving rave reviews for his 2018 international stand up tour, The Unusual Punishment Tour, Jim is back on the road with an entirely new routine for his The Night Talker Tour, with his international leg kicking off this November 2019. Additionally, Jim was recently honored as Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the Just for Laughs Festival this summer. Jim is working with NBC on a multi-camera pilot which he would star in from writer-producer Suzanne Martin, Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner's Hazy Mills and Universal TV.

Most recently signed a first look deal with Comedy Central for content development in television and digital media. Additionally, Jim's eponymous Comedy Central series, THE JIM JEFFERIES SHOW debuted its third season on March 19, 2019 at 10:30pm ET / PT. As a strong voice in late night, the weekly series features Jim traveling across the globe to tackle the top news stories and controversial issues of the day. In addition to the series, Jim also continues to head up the weekly podcast series, ‘The Jim Jefferies Show Podcast', co-hosted by Forrest Shaw. The podcast, from Comedy Central's Podcast Network includes interviews and discussions with a variety of guests discussing current news and politics, as well as providing a more in-depth focus on the topics and opinions featured on the television series - with less filters.

In 2018, Jim starred in his third Netflix comedy special JIM JEFFERIES: THIS IS ME NOW. Performing at the Eventim Apollo in London, he unapologetically kept it real opening up the challenges of being a single father, as well as the weirdest gig he ever played. In 2017, he released his fifth major stand up special in seven years, FREEDUMB. The special was Jim's second to air on Netflix, and followed the huge success of the first, JIM JEFFERIES: BARE, in which he delivered a now iconic routine on guns and gun control in the United States.

In addition, Jim created, wrote, produced, and starred in the critically acclaimed FX series LEGIT, which ran for two seasons and has since gained a cult following. He has also appeared in the films KILLING HASSELHOFF and PUNCHING HENRY.

Jim currently lives in Los Angeles.

Great show with Jim Jeffries and his 2 openers. Seen pretty much everything Jeffries has recorded over the years. It was awesome to catch the bloke in person, finally!! And my wife and I traveled all the way to Vegas from Toronto to do it. Thanks for a hilarious night.

by Bookbelle on 3/12/24The Mirage Theatre - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

We saw Jim Jeffries and he was so funny. my husband says there aren't many comedians that can make him laugh that hard. Loved both openers too and the theatre had a more intimate feel than an arena.

  • GREAT comedy, not so great venue

by PrincessSandra on 1/29/24SACRAMENTO MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM - SacramentoRating: 4 out of 5

Comedy was on par! Stay home if you have baby mama drama or don’t sit in front rows! Sound is not so good as this building was NOT built for today’s needs. Comedy was HOT!

  • Horrible venue

by Mr Toon on 1/29/24SACRAMENTO MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM - SacramentoRating: 3 out of 5

Attending Jim Jefferies' comedy show was undeniably a blast, and his full 2-hour performance delivered on the promise of getting your money's worth. However, my overall experience was dampened by issues with the Sacramento Auditorium, leading me to reconsider attending future events at this venue. Jim Jefferies proved to be a stellar performer, keeping the audience engaged and entertained throughout his extended set. His comedic timing and unique style were on full display, making the evening memorable and enjoyable. The content was well-received, and the length of the show certainly added value to the ticket price. Unfortunately, the venue itself fell short of expectations. Despite having attended comedy shows at the Sacramento Auditorium in the past, this experience left a sour taste. The lack of sufficient sound distribution was a major drawback, especially for those seated in the upper balcony, like myself. My guest and I found ourselves constantly leaning in to catch every punchline, and the absence of screens made it challenging to fully appreciate the performer's expressions and gestures. One of the most significant letdowns of the night was the apparent laxity of the security team, humorously referred to as "MIB."A rowdy group disrupted the experience for many attendees, leading to six people leaving prematurely. While one security guard attempted to address the situation, it quickly became evident that the enforcement lacked teeth. In a baffling turn of events, it seemed that some members of the security team were more interested in chatting with the disruptive group than ensuring a pleasant experience for the majority. Jim Jefferies, to his credit, managed to handle the situation on stage, silencing the hecklers and restoring order to some extent. However, it was disappointing to witness such a lackluster response from the venue's security team, leaving many attendees frustrated. In conclusion, while Jim Jefferies delivered an outstanding performance, the shortcomings of the Sacramento Auditorium, particularly in terms of sound quality and security, overshadowed the comedic brilliance of the night. If Jim returns to Sacramento, one can only hope it is at a more suitable venue that can truly complement his talents and provide a more enjoyable experience for the audience.

  • SO much fun!!

Absolutely hysterical. So great seeing him live for the first time. Did not disappoint.

  • Great Experience

by AJ on 1/29/24SACRAMENTO MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM - SacramentoRating: 4 out of 5

Great experience! Jim and Forrest were amazing! Bought resale tickets so we couldn’t upgrade and add more tickets which was a bummer. But I suppose looking out for the resale fine print would help. Just keep that in mind in case your group grows. Ticketmaster couldn’t help out at all with that was the only downgrade.

  • Best show ever

  • Great Show!!

by Niki on 1/29/24SACRAMENTO MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM - SacramentoRating: 5 out of 5

Jim Jefferies put on a great show and I loved the venue too. Very pretty inside and out. I was happy wi the our seats as well (about 6 lanes from the stage). It was awesome to get to see his facial expression’s.

  • Comedy was great, but hard to hear

by Mike on 1/29/24SACRAMENTO MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM - SacramentoRating: 4 out of 5

JJ and the first comic were great, but the sound was a little low so it was hard to hear at times. The venue was nice otherwise with parking easy and we just walked in for the show. Comfortable chairs with more legroom than in other events.
