About

"TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!" raves the New York Post for JERSEY BOYS, the 2006 Tony Award®-winning Best Musical about Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. This is the story of how four blue-collar kids became one of the greatest successes in pop music history. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were 30!  JERSEY BOYS, winner of the 2006 Grammy® Award for Best Musical Show Album and most recently, the 2009 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, features their hit songs "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Rag Doll," "Oh What a Night" and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You." "IT WILL RUN FOR CENTURIES!" proclaims Time Magazine.

The JERSEY BOYS creative team comprises two-time Tony Award®-winning director Des McAnuff, book writers Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, composer Bob Gaudio, lyricist Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

It was an excellent show, The Jersey Boys sounded as if it were Franki Valli and the Four Seasons performing themselves on stage.

I love this show. It's the second time I saw it and was blown away. I loved Nick the best. He had some kind of something that I was drawn to. Loved It!

Lead singer not good for this role!

by SurgGen on 4/7/12Rochester Auditorium Theatre - Rochester

I saw this 2 yrs ago here in Rochester and it was 100 times better due to a much better lead singer as Franki Valli. The singer this time should not be singing his songs and am surprised they couldn't find someone better. I brought my daughter who was excited to see the show for the first and was very disappointed because of this. The rest of the cast was great though.

Shame on you if you don't attend. This was a great show with all the Four Seasons hits. The singing was great and the story made the show even better.

Somewhere between a musical and a concert: great in either category!

    very disappointed

by allshows on 4/6/12Rochester Auditorium Theatre - Rochester

I have seen Jersey Boys 2 times before this show. both were at the auditorium in Rochester. This show did not compare. The man playing Frankie Vali was terrible. His voice was so bad. Sounded ok with the other singers but on his own it was awful.

    Oh What a Night!

by Chatham64 on 4/6/12Rochester Auditorium Theatre - Rochester

Even better the second time around. Amazing voices! Great cast. Just don't know why they have to associate the bad language with "official Jersey language" I grew up in NJ and we did not use that kind of language.

    such a special night

by 3ofeverything on 4/6/12Rochester Auditorium Theatre - Rochester

I purchased the tickets to this show as a gift to my parents - they were in high school in 1963 and their song was Earth Angel. They loved every minute of the show and so did I. Worth every penny - I want to go back again and again and would love to see it on a larger stage someday.

    Not a prude, but....

by Anonymous on 4/5/12Rochester Auditorium Theatre - Rochester

I enjoyed the music, but the language used ,especially the "f" word, was a little too much. I realize that is probably the way they talked during those years, but it is something that would really turn a lot of people off from the show, and the reason I would not recommend the show and the reason I would not care to see it again.

    Jersey Boys sound was terrible

by Anonymous on 4/5/12Rochester Auditorium Theatre - Rochester

I finally got my husband who is not a musical fan to attend this production. The sound was terrible . The speaking parts could barely be heard and the vocal singing was just as bad. Unfortunately I doubt if I'll get him to attend another event.

Jersey Boys brings back good memories

by Crazynurse on 4/5/12Rochester Auditorium Theatre - Rochester

Everyone involved did a great job. The music was great. At times I wish they would play the whole song, not just part. Overall, I'm very glad I went.

    Great Show!

    by BasketballMom5 on 4/3/12Palazzo - Las Vegas

I saw the show in Vegas and it was fantastic. I had no idea the back story behind The Four Seasons. There is some foul language, but as my boss said, that is to be expected, it's Jersey. (She's from Jersey!) I would highly recommend it. I plan on seeing it again in Atlanta and hope it as good as the one was in Vegas.

    Foul Language

by VegasWasFun on 6/28/11THE PALAZZO RESORT HOTEL CASINO - LAS VEGAS

I didn't enjoy this show at all. I stayed for the first 10 minutes of the show but left as the language grew increasingly worse and worse. Had I known, or had been made aware, that this show included the foul language that was featured I would never have purchased tix. They say that the show is appropriate for 13+ but I wouldn't want my child at that age to be subjected to that filth.

Jersey Boys is a must see.

by AHHinLV on 6/19/11THE PALAZZO RESORT HOTEL CASINO - LAS VEGAS

This was the second time we saw Jersey Boys at the Palazzo and it was even better than the first time. The music, singing, acting, and story are all great. It's hard to believe the voice in Frankie Valli.

    Jersey Boys Vegas FANTASTIC

by soonerl8tr on 6/19/11THE PALAZZO RESORT HOTEL CASINO - LAS VEGAS

When planning our trip to Vegas, we were looking for good shows to see-and Jersey Boys was recommended. I wasn't thrilled at the prospect of hearing "old timey' music-but I have to say this is one of the best shows I have ever seen. The music is not old-fashioned, but is a great restrospective to an interesting story. Make sure to get a good seat, we sat center orchestra middle of the way back and it was perfect. You don't want to sit in the front rows, or sit in the balcony. The guys who sing have awesome voices, it is funny, and entertaining. This is NOT a show for children. There is very strong language in it, but well-placed because these are after all guys who grew up in the mean streets of Newark, NJ. But the language is something that could offend and certainly is not meant for families with kids under 14.

    Jersey Boys,

by inaminute on 6/14/11THE PALAZZO RESORT HOTEL CASINO - LAS VEGAS

I attended the show with my wife and another couple, whole show was fantastic. We had great seats, only paying 117 dollars each. Music was fantastic, interspersed with a narrative as the story unfolded. This was amusing, if sometimes littered with four letter swear words, but it does tell you that it contains strong language, prior to the start. Overall, live music, excellent drummer on stage, good scene changes, very well put together. Would highly recommend show.
