About

"TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!" raves the New York Post for JERSEY BOYS, the 2006 Tony AwardŽ-winning Best Musical about Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. This is the story of how four blue-collar kids became one of the greatest successes in pop music history. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were 30!  JERSEY BOYS, winner of the 2006 GrammyŽ Award for Best Musical Show Album and most recently, the 2009 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, features their hit songs "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Rag Doll," "Oh What a Night" and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You." "IT WILL RUN FOR CENTURIES!" proclaims Time Magazine.

The JERSEY BOYS creative team comprises two-time Tony AwardÂŽ-winning director Des McAnuff, book writers Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, composer Bob Gaudio, lyricist Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

    Amazing!

by Lindsay on 3/23/22Centennial Hall - Tucson

My friend and I thought that the Jersey Boys more than exceeded our expectations! The music was wonderful and if I had closed my eyes I would have thought that I was listening to Frankie Valli And the 4 Seasons.

Fast passed yet easy to follow story line. Waiting for a Jersey Boys sing along performance...maybe for the movie??!? Or I might use it as a theme for my next party !!🎉

    The show of shows

by Crp on 3/23/22Centennial Hall - Tucson

Needless to say the music was the star of this show. The energy the Crew brought was delightful also! I loved the audience participation in the songs of the past! It was a lot of fun in addition to the story of the Four Seasons❤️❤️❤️❤️

One of best musicals we have seen!

by Love musicals! on 3/23/22Centennial Hall - Tucson

The performance was just outstanding! The singing (especially Frankie Vali) was some of the best we have heard. The choreography was just unreal (splits and all). The sound was perfect. You could hear every word. We enjoyed every second of the performance!

Great musical and play in one!

by Angel on 3/23/22Centennial Hall - Tucson

Besides the good 4 season's music, the drama play on their history was an unexpected plus, funny, sad, and upbeat. Good show to see!

    Fabulous

by Robin on 3/22/22Centennial Hall - Tucson

Great show! More like a concert than a musical. Enjoyed every minute. Took me back to the good old days. I'm from Jersey, so it resonated with me.

    Jersey Boys

by Sandy on 3/22/22Centennial Hall - Tucson

Due to COVID, our seeing Jersey Boys was 2 years delayed. We saw it in Las Vegas and it was spectacular! It was very good in Tucson. However, all the shows would be much better if they improved the acoustics and sound production in Centennial Hall or found another place to put on these national touring plays. They also need to update their seats. I overheard more than one person complaining about how uncomfortable the seats are there.

    Dancing in my seat

by Kathy O on 3/22/22Centennial Hall - Tucson

I loved it! They were amazing with true feeling of Jersey. I actually loved the foul language. I didn’t realize it was about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons for some reason. Such a great surprise. Their singing voices are phenomenal. All the songs bringing back memories and literally I was singing and dancing in my seat the entire show!

    Great show, lousy venue

    by Bob5041 on 3/22/22Centennial Hall - Tucson

An 80+ year old auditorium that is in need of replacing. Last updated more than 40 years ago. Port-a-potties outside for intermission because inside too small. Acoustics and sound system need help. Sight lines could be better. Even with this the Jersey Boys was still great.

    Disappointed!

by Linda on 3/22/22Centennial Hall - Tucson

The venue was terrible! We couldn't see and we couldn't hear. The only part we enjoyed was their most well known hits!

    Not stellar

by Kim on 3/21/22Centennial Hall - Tucson

Performances were ok-- fairly typical for Broadway In. . . tours. We were ready to finally see a play so we took that into account in buying tickets. Theater was too big for good visibility of stage-- seats were $75 in mezzanine (maybe 10 rows from back wall of theater-- way too costly for what were essentially nosebleed seats. The mezzanine does NOT overhang the orchestra so we were really far back. Adding to visibility issue was that staging was set way back on a deep stage. Overall, a disappointment-- we left at intermission.
