Jeff Tweedy, founding member and frontman of Wilco, is one of contemporary music's most respected songwriters and performers. In addition to 13 Wilco albums, he has released four solo albums and authored three New York Times bestsellers. In anticipation of his fifth studio release, Twilight Override (out Sept. 26), this solo tour offers fans a rare chance to experience songs from Tweedy's expansive catalog in a more intimate setting--spanning both his solo work and Wilco favorites.

I've seen Wilco 15 times so this will appear biased. This is the first time that I have seen a full Jeff Tweedy solo show and it was incredible. Great venue, great songs, and a wonderful sense of humor.
It was a great show with an amazing song writer. He was funny and sounded great. I never miss him or Wilco when they come to town.
One of the best Tweedy shows ever! Jeff showed us why we all still love his music.
It was Jeff Tweedy. Of course it was great. Of course the musicianship was flawless. And, of course, he was funny as well. Loved the new songs from Warm, can't wait until it comes out.
I've been looking forward to seeing a Jeff Tweedy solo show for years, and it was well worth the wait. The music and lyricism were as amazing as one would expect, but his banter with the crowd made it a truly unique show. Tweedy is a fun, caring, and profound, artist well worth the money. On a side note, I enjoy the acoustics at The Moore, but the seating is not meant for anyone over six feet tall.
Jeff Tweedy and guitar(s), it doesn't get any better than that.
Beautiful venue with fantastic acoustics. Jeff Tweedy is a brilliant and talented song writer and musician making for an amazing evening!
Limited leg room in the balcony, worse than flying delta economy. But the fabulous music & entertainment helped us forget our knees were jammed, folded and numb. Great show Mr. J
Great night with Jeff as we watched a documentary, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Movie that he picked out with his family. He even brought his youngest son to share some family stories etc. Hearing Jeff speak about the movie as well as insight on band and producing Staples album and then getting to hear 5 songs made a perfect evening.
we loved jeff tweedy's acoustic set. the entire concert was a little long though and the opening band minus five was marginal at best. we were sitting in the mezzanine and the sound quality when the entire band tweedy was on stage was poor. they sounded loud and garbled. the acoustic set was superb. i doubt i will go to a tweedy show again. would definitely buy tickets to see jeff tweedy acoustic or wilco again.
Loved everything about the show! Thank you for a great night!
This was a great example of American rocksmanship...courteous staff and great venue as well. 5-stars all around, except the people who came to see a symphony and were disappointed when some rock broke out...for future reference, caviar hour is 30 minutes before showtime and just because you paid for a specific seat doesn't mean you are entitled to sit the entire time with an unobstructed view...looking forward to seeing you again at the next Burt Bacharach offering. Tata.
Saw Tweedy at the beautiful Balboa Theatre in Downtown Dan Diego and it was magical. Not only was the band fantastic but the audience was the best we've experienced in a long time.... Quiet through the thoughtful song of which there were many! Jeff was in great spirits it seemed and the banter between him and random audience was fun. The band was tight and impressive. Jeff did a long solo set and each song was perfection. I love this band so much particularly because they are humble and clearly love what they do. The writing and arranging knocks me out. I've also read some of Spencer's blog writing and its then fun to see him clearly coming into his own as a writer. There is a lot of future great music in his head no doubt! Wishing that Wilco would be in the area when Tweedy's tour ends but so far I don't see that listed! Please guys add San Diego or close, to your Wilco tour. It must be amazingly satisfying to know that you touch so many people with your words and music. Thanks for the countless hours with earbuds and you.
The Balboa is an amazing place. I see a lot of concerts and plays there. The band Tweedy was so boring. Every song sounded the same. I brought my daughter thinking I'd turn her on to Wilco via Tweedy. Wrong! We left after like 4 songs. She said I owe her big time now for subjecting her to that!
Tweedy was spot on. Everyone on stage was in a great mood and it reflected in their performances. Loved the solo set as well. The Ace Hotel Theatre is a beautiful venue with a crystal clear sound system. Thoroughly enjoyed the show!
First of all, this was my first time at this venue, and it was amazing. Historic old theater, with all of the old over-the-top decor, great seating without any bad angles, and terrific sound. The Minus 5 was the opener, and they were great. Tight songwriting and rocking performances from the band members! Definitely check them out! Tweedy was fantastic! Such solid songs and arrangements. And Jeff Tweedy was a great front man, even talking about how he's trying to learn to better introduce songs, and clearly having fun. It didn't hurt that the audience was having a blast, too. A great show!
Have seen Tweedy/Wilco many times. He never disappoints. Great music, great vibe and great crowd.
Very enjoyable show -- provided insight into Jeff Tweedy's influences -- especially during his solo portion of the show.
Jeff Tweedy Is seriously the hardest working man in show business and will not let you down the drum work by Spenser Tweedy is solid and detailed this combined with the legendary bass playing of Darin Gray holding it all down. An amazing show and a little something for everyone Rock Band, and acoustic singer song writer. Tweedy covers the new Tweedy album and favorites from Jeff Tweedy, Wilco and Uncle Tupelo. Loved the show and had a great time. Do Not Miss!
