Jay Park on Tour
As the first Asian-American artist to sign with Jay-Z's Roc Nation, Jay Park seems to be everywhere: Guesting on all kinds of tracks, writing songs for artists, dropping albums at a breakneck pace, running two labels and starring on multiple TV shows. He's a genuine phenomenon in South Korea, where his b-boy persona and canny mix of K-pop and hip-hop has hit a lucrative sweet spot. As an artist, he refuses to be pigeonholed; his music has all the frothy, hook-heavy perfection of the best K-pop, but his swagger and honesty (and tattoos) make him a bit of a bad boy in that squeaky-clean music universe. A terrific dancer, Park has performed extensively throughout Asia over the years, but he undertook his first world tour as a solo artist in 2019, with the SEXY 4EVA World Tour.
Jay Park in Concert
Jay grew up in Seattle, where he fell in love with hip-hop and R&B as a kid. He cites Usher as one of his major inspirations — no surprise for a kid who was a b-boy and dancer with Seattle's Art of Movement crew. In 2004, his mother, noticing that he was much more focused on music than school, encouraged him to head to Korea to audition for the K-pop powerhouse JYP Entertainment. JYP liked what they saw and trained him for four years. By then, Park had become fairly bilingual in English and Korean, and in 2009 he took over the helm of the boy band 2PM. A year later he was forced to leave the band, but he wasted no time, uploading a cover of B.o.B.'s "Nothin' on You" (with his own lyrics) that went viral on YouTube virtually overnight. Fans in Korea were clamoring for his return, and film roles in Hype Nation and 2011's Mr. Idol led to a new chapter as a solo artist. Park began releasing EPs, and by 2012 he was writing songs for artists including U-Kiss, Tiny-G and Younha. He also released his first full-length album, New Breed, that year. He's appeared on shows including Asia's Got Talent and Saturday Night Live Korea. He was the Korean Hip-Hop Awards Artist of the Year in 2017 and 2018, and he's won a slew of Korean Music Awards as well. He's also the CEO of not one but two labels: AOMG and H1GHR Music. In 2019 he dropped his fifth full-length, The Road Less Traveled.
I've been to a few concerts, but Jay Park is by far the best one I have been to. Amazing live vocals, interactions, and being able to see he genuinely enjoys what he does. I will be anticipating the announcement of the next tour.
This was beyond an amazing experience. I wish they had attendants up stairs to guide the crowd better, but besides that it was an amazing concert.
Jay knows how to include his audience and cater to the thirst of the crowd. Great at his craft and always ready to support upcoming artists. The vibe is fun, just enough sexy, and cool.
This concert was everything I could have wanted and so much more. He puts 110% into all of his work, and it was great seeing how far he has come since I first started listening to his music. Despite the fact that, other than Jay Park, I'm more familiar with certain AOMG artists like Loco, Sik-K, ph-1 and others, seeing Ted Park and Sogumm gave me the chance to familiarize myself with other artists too! I had such a great time!!!!
The show was small (a few dancers and a dj)--I think he was feeling out his U.S. audience for future tours--but it was a great performance! The lighting, effects, etc were phenomenal znd Jay was so sweet and energetic. He knows his fans, performed all our faves, and performed snippets of new music. There was an awesome opening act (female artist Su Gumm) and a surprise stage from Ted Park. I think each location had a different opening act and guest which is cool (makes each show unique and I believe it helps keep ticket costs low). Anyway, if you get a chance go see Jay and anyone from AOMG and H1GHRMUSIC...you won't regret it. Oh and VIP got to take pics with Jay. I didn't get VIP but I will next time!!!
The concert was incredible, the lineup was the best and couldn’t have been better. Everything during the concert was fantastic but the staff could’ve been more helpful in organizing the order Of those going into the venue. The vip experience was fantastic all in all.
Jay was very interactive with the crowd and put on a great show. I liked that he talked to the crowd a lot and got us hyped for the upcoming songs. His singing and dancing was very entertaining. The opening acts and dancers were also fun to watch. One of the best nights of my life.
The show was amazing, it was freaking lit. Life changing experience!
From the playlist that we heard upon entering the venue, up until the very last song that closed the show, the Jay Park Sexy 4 Eva World Tour in Miami was PHENOMENAL! His opening act Sogumm and Ted Park absolutely KILLED their performances & of course, Jay Park is just a master of his craft! I’m so glad that he came to Miami. This has definitely been one of my favorite concerts that I’ve ever been to. Much love!

I really enjoyed the Jay Park concert in Miami Saturday November 16th... Ted Park ate the stage like set it on fire love him.. Ted park has a new listener... one thing I have to say was how Jay Park did not acknowledge the other communities that live in Miami not just Hispanics.. Hispanic was not the only group that was at his concert.. can't say that it's his fault because everybody make it seem like only Hispanics live in Miami.
My experience were perfect!!! The reserved parking went well and the electronic ticket I had went smoothly!!! I just wish that when i bought the ticket that I would’ve gotten a notification from live nation about the vip tickets because that’s what I really wanted to get. But overall everything were PERFECT!!!
He’s a great performer! His team is amazing! The dancers did their thing as always. Sogumm was amazing love her!! Ted Park was also great!! Dj Wegun is fire!! Honestly this was one of the best concerts I’ve been to in a while and I loved it! Hope to see Jay Park and everyone else again soon!
Everyone there made me so hyped up ESPECIALLY Ted Park. I had an amazing time jumping and raping/singing the lyrics. 100% will go again :>.

It was honestly such an amazing show! The music hits differently live & the guests Sogum and Ted Park as well as DJ Wegun dropping beats was fire !! Jay Park literally did so amazing and the SETLIST was perfect !
I want to say I first admired that the started on time exactly when they said they would. The first act was someone I didn’t know but she still did a great job and it was clear why she was chosen. Then Jay came up and it was a while vibe like he performed so well the vocals were so clear 89% of the time! Ted Park came as well and I almost lost it because I was in shock! He killed it! Then Jay came back again and did another round of songs and the energy never let up from start to finish the set up of the show was perfect and kept us engaged and I love Jay Park all the more and need him to come back!!!!
It was AMAZING! The venue was great, the performance was amazing!!!! He was soooo good! So hot, so handsome! He was stupendous!
