  • Jason Bonham's Led Zep Experience rocked!!!!

by Anonymous on 11/28/10Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

This was one wonderfully awesome show. Been a fan of Zep since high school way back when. Went to Zep in high school in Cincinnati, saw Page & Plant at the Hollywood Bowl in LA and now this. Truly enjoyable show. The heartfelt memories Jason shared about his family and father really added to the show. The quality of the musicians was amazing. The singer sounded almost like Plant, the guitarist was great, as was the bassist and keyboard player. Their sound and playing were tight.

  • Led Zep - a good experience

    by LedZepFan12000 on 11/28/10The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

Nostalgic and entertaining - the artists were terrific on all fronts and Jason's narration and the home videos added a nice dimension to an otherwise standard rock show. But as good as the artists were, the sound balance was bad - they need to get a new sound man! I like my music loud, but not muddy and unbalanced - each instrument deserves to be heard as it was intended.

  • IS A MUST GO IF YOU'RE A LED ZEPPELIN FAN!!!!!

by LakeHellCat on 11/28/10Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

if you're a led zeppelin fan you must go to this. all of the footage was fantastic, tributes of songs, hearing the stories from jason. listening to the musicians was amazing. they played so close to the actual band. my fav part was when jason was playing drums and they had john on the big screen, playing the same beat, in tandum. was so memorable, jaw dropping, just amazing! THANK YOU JASON and band for going on tour and sharing your lives and talent with us. i am one of the lucky to have experienced this show. if you come to town again, you bet that i'll be there!

  • Led Zeppelin still rocks!!!

Jason Bonham brought back a band that needed to be revived. He and his talented band performed to perfection and played for 3 hours. It was very touching to hear Jason talk about his dad and family and validate that he is DOING what he should be doing in his life......honoring his dad and making alot of Led Zeppelin fans happy!!!

I loved every minute of it. The videos of John were bittersweet.

  • Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience

by Adycakes on 11/28/10Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

WOW! I was prepared to be entertained, but not on this level- a feast for all the senses. Tony Catania expertly channels Jimmy Page while retaining his own unique style. Jason Bonham has assembled a visual heaven on Earth! If possible, he is a better drummer than his father. You will not be disappointed and if I could, I would go back tonight and watch it all over.

  • Jason Bonhams Led Zep Experience was Terrific

by On2and4 on 11/28/10Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

The JBLZE show was really well done. The musicianship by the entire band was excellent. I've seen Led Zeppelin and also the Page & Plant tour. JBLZE did Led Zeppelin better than Led Zeppelin did Led Zeppelin. Jason was obviously emotional involved with the production and got choked up during a few moments. As a drummer myself, I know what sort of challenge he was taking on. He dad would have been proud.

If you can't have Zepplin this was really great they did right by the music and Jason did a great job of showing how really great this band and his Dad really were they did the music proud and the old fashioned picture show behind the band was really good showing what the band really looked like those days so long ago great job guys .

Great performance but in the future when there is a video presentation along with a rock concert there needs to be a larger screen for the audience in the upper rows to be able to see

What an Amazing show! If your any kind of a Led Zepplin fan, this was the show to see! Great musicans backing Jason up on this one! They nailed some of those songs dead on! Nice footage of jason growing up around Dad in the young days! I also met and chatted with his kids too! Nice kids and Funny too! Jasons boy was rolling around a nice Drum head saying ...... $50.00 bucks and it's yours! I said you better have dad come sign it in front of me with all that damage! LoL! We did buy a signed drum head too and a few shirts along with a raffel ticket for his childrens cause to win a nice Drum set too! Great night and i hope Jason can do this again sometime soon! Look out for Black Country Communion next! His side project with Glen Hughs and Joe Bosnama ...sorry bout the spelling! Thanks again Jason! You ROCKED and the Guy's held up their end as well! Great Job! I would pay to see this one again!

  • Jason Bonham

by Priestesskat on 11/28/10Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

The show was a must see. The tribute to John Bonham is truly an experience. Jason's drum solo/duet with and for his father was jaw dropping...and brought tears to the listeners. Personal footage of home movies added to the experience. The stage screen was a show beyond the music. Led Zepplin lives!

  • A true tribute

by ZepplinGirl on 11/28/10Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Wow. The whole band did not try to make the music their own, but did an excellent job of covering the originals note-for-note. Saw Led Zepplin 2x live in my youth and this was so true to that musically. The additional benefit of the family connection, the love and the memories put it over the top! If you love Led Zepplin, this is the show to see.

  • Bonham forever!

  • by SEATTLE854 on 11/27/10Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best concerts I have ever been too. I never got to see the original Led Zepplin but this is as close as one could come to experiencing them. It was 3 hours of all of your favorites.

  • Absolutely Freakin' Amazing!!

by imamusiclover on 11/27/10The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

I came into the show with minimal expectations--not because I thought it would be bad but because I wanted to be open to whatever was coming my way. From the opening song my jaw dropped in disbelief. My husband and I were floored by the sheer talent of the musicians, the raw feeling behind the music and the vocals were outstanding. To see some of the physicial mannerisms of the original band filter through the Experience players added a touch of the old days for those of us who have only seen Zep via DVD. To see Jason so appreciative of the fans yearning to hear Zep music was really touching. He was so real and I must say he had some pretty good dance moves as a young lad!! Sometimes when I closed my eyes I felt like I was at a Led Zeppelin gig back in the day with the crowd playing off the band and vice versa; these guys matched the music note for note, the drive behind every song, the dedication to the music and the talent was just phenomenal. I've been to many a concert and this was absolutely the best I've been to in years. There were points where I didn't know who to watch; Jason with footage of Bonzo behind him, Tony matching Page, however the bass player Michael took most of my attention. He has to be the most talented bass player I have ever seen. To play Zep's bass lines that way--I can't even describe it--you have to see this show to appreciate anything I've said above. This is a show for every fan no matter how young or old they may be. Thanks many times over to Jason Bonham for putting this together. I can only hope they would consider doing this yearly like the Experience Hendrix tour does.

  • Led Zeppelin Experience was awesome

Jason Bonham kicked ass. The Video montage was awesome. The band was incredible. The energy of the crowd was off the hook. Glad I was there.

  • Personable Experience!

by Lynndow on 11/27/10Star Plaza Theatre - MerrillvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Jason Bonham's childhood is shared along with footage of his dad, they share a drum set and Jason speaks about what Zeppelin means to him. This concert is more personal than most and thus makes it a unique experience.
