    Great context, bad sound

by S. on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

The show was great, but the sound was bad. Felt like I had to strain to hear. The mics weren’t loud enough, so when laughter happened you couldn’t hear. Maybe a better sound check next time with those that are going to be speaking.

    Show/Awesome. Sound/not so much

    by S. D. on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Loved the show and those ladies very much. The sound was a little off though. Sometimes hard to hear and other times feedback was occurring

    Great

by tnrdfrd on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Great show, the chemistry between Jane and Lily is amazing. Mitch Albom is not a good moderator. Also the sound at the venue was not great, hard to hear at times.

Couln’t hear much of what was said?

by Maxine36 on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Although we enjoyed what we could hear it was very disappointing. We had tickets on the main floor. We especially did not hear Mitch Albom. We came from Chicago. Beautiful theatre. Terrible Sound system.

Wish it was a 1 hour Netflix show

by Husband of fan on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

This was a very average event at best. I might have continued watching it if it was a Netflix special. But driving an hour and going to a life theater added no value. I also was disappointed that they didn't hit some key areas like me too movement. Not worth the money…

    Jane & Lilly

by S. Cahill on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

I really enjoyed the night with Jane Fonda and Lilly Tomlin. They were charming, funny, inspirational, and so darn cute. Their banter and stories were interesting and a fabulous trip down memory lane. The venue was beautiful and our seats were really good, but I am also glad they had the big screen tv for the close up views. The only problem was getting through security and the ticket line. We were there around 7 PM and the lines were down the street in the rain and it seemed like a very long time to get through and to our seats. Luckily they delayed the beginning of the program for about 30 minutes so we didn't miss anything. Thanks Ms Fonda and Ms Tomlin for a memorable evening. I enjoyed Mitch Album, one of my heroes, but he was a little stiff as the interviewer.

    Good show, long entry

by JP on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Although I have no issue with having security to enter shows, the experience at the night of the show was taxing. First of all the bag checker was in the dark so how much could she realistically see, and it seemed it was there first time with the gates. Multiple people in front of me had to walk they multiple times. All of these let to the show starting 30 minutes past showtime! Unacceptable

    Very funny

    by C. n. on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Enjoyable experience, however Jane Fonda got a little to political, talking so much about global warming. Although I agree that this is an important issue, with all the social media, she could have made her thoughts known in those forums instead of using a paid event to discuss them so much. People came to be entertained and this portion made people feel uncomfortable.

    Fonda and Tomlin

by Pat on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

The FOX Theater staff was not efficient in processing the primarily Female ticket holding guests. Thank goodness they did not start the show until people were seated. The show started about 40-45 minutes late. The people that had tickets on their cell phones were holding up the lines a lot. The tickets either were not scanning, or scanning very slow. The show was great. Mitch Albom was a great host, and complimented Fonda and Tomlin very well. Would have like to heard LESS about Fonda's activist opinions and would have LIKED to hear more from Tomlin.

    Jane and Lily were wonderful.

by Me on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

It was so fun to see Jane and Lily interact. They are such a talented pair of ladies! The only issue was that the sound system was terrible, At times you could barely hear what was being said on stage. That is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. The problem didn’t have anything to do with the Stars themselves.

Great evening with Jane, Lily and Mitch.

by Jan on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

There were lots of laughs as well as some very serious moments. Mitch was an excellent interviewer. He facilitated some good questions and then got out of the way. I admire all three of them.

    Poor

by Maggie on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

When my daughter bought the tickets for Fonda and Tomlin - I was sure it will be stand up comedy - it was boring and sad.... Fonda though it was her time for her political forum and time to talk about her believes.... Show didn’t start on time and was very short.... long line outside waiting in rain.... not happy.... waste of time

    Jane and Lily

Show was amazing - lots of laughs and good energy. Orchestra seats (expensive) were uncomfortable, and tight. Sound had lots of feedback

    Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin

by Barry on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

The show was great. Lily Tomlin is very funny, while Jane provided a more serious balance talking about the issues of today. They work very well together. My only concern was with the venue. The Fox is a great theater, but getting the audience in and seated took way too long

Hard time hearing microphones didn’t seem to be working righ

    by C. R. on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

People were constantly screaming out and making so many remarks besides the microphones being bad, I felt the users should have been more involved because of the noise and people taking pictures which I thought was not allowed. Other than that I have always had great experiences at the fox it is beautiful, been there for many shows and at Christmas shows it is just stunning. Thank you

I was disappointed that they were suppose to start at 7:30

by Karen Brown on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

They started a half an hour later tgan they were supposed to. Mitch only asked two questions that supposedly came from the audience. Which I was never asked before the show. You couldn’t hear very well and people that were behind us kept screaming can’t hear which then others started screaming the same. The tv monitor didn’t do a close enough shot of Jane and Lily. So I was disappointed.

    Love the show. Love them.

by dkoziol25 on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

They were fabulous and inspiring. However the beautiful Fox theater had very poor sound quality and we couldn’t hear everything. Very disappointing

    Jane and Lily together

by Deb on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Thed show was good. The woman pretty much as expected. Mitch avoided being annoying. I was glad it started half an hour late as the pre paid parking was a total fiasco. The ushers were good getting the recalcitrant Ticketmaster app to find the tickets.
