    Loved the show

by takr3 on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

The theater had people outside in the rain with the doors barely moving. Lights flashing the show ready to start and they were not moving any faster. They need a much better system at getting people inside.

    Fonda & Tomlin

by Dawn on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Oh where do I start...Mitch Album was good, but seemed nervous...The Fox: poorly managed as far as trying to get into theater. Parking was a mess and I had a pass. The woman were very pourly mic'd. It was hard to hear in mezzanine. The concessions closed too soon! The furniture they used on stage was tacky. I really had my hopes up...but was very disappointed! The theatre is beautiful!

    Disappointing

by Julie on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

The sound system was awful. We could barely hear anything anyone on stage was saying. Hard to believe it could have been so bad at the Fox Theater. Spent a lot of money on a very disappointing experience.

    Sound check

by Deb on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

The sound was awful. Myself and my guests couldn’t hear much of the show at all. The only good sound was when film clips were being shown

    An inspirational evening

by Susie-Q on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Being part of a nearly all female gathering to listen and learn from two film and stage icons about their struggles and perseverance through their trials was truly inspirational. On stage, engaged in a conversation led by Mitch Albom before us, were Jane and Lily: two down-to-earth, relatable, witty, humble, caring women who share a history and a future of activism and inner strength that led them to their current positions as role models for women of all ages. They were a personal and personable reminder to us all to never give up on our ideals without a fight. Never. Give up. Never.

    Fox Theatre Detroit Disappoints

    by S. S. on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

What should have been a highly entertaining evening was in fact very disappointing due to the lack of an appropriate sound system. Our seats were on the main floor and we missed quite a bit of the dialogue. Two thumbs down!

the number of times the audience said they could not hear was very frequent what you could hear and understand was very interesting and enjoyable

    Disappointed

    by G. O. on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Poor sound quality and a bunch of giggling between the two. Lily Tomlin could not answer a serious question. Expected much much more.

Didn’t want it to end experience

    by S. T. on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

The interaction and banter between Jane and Lily is fantastic. I was with my daughter and best friends. We laughed and cried! What a way to celebrate sisterhood and bring people with diverse backgrounds all together. Thank you Jane and Lily for sharing your time with us. What a privilege. On a technical note, they should have been miked individually. Missed some talk when people were laughing or if they didn’t hold the microphone up. Cheers!

    Loved it!

by Jodi on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

They were hilarious and witty in their improv interactions. As a 38 year old woman, they were also encouraging and inspirational as female, living-legends!

    Grace & Frankie

by S. on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Both women were amazing to listen too and see their chemistry. The sound quality was not great. We sat in floor section so not far, but some others were yelling ‘louder’. 1st time at The Fox so not sure if this is typical or not. Show ticket said starts at 7:30 but it was well after 8pm.

    Jane & Lily

My wife and I had a GREAT time, we really enjoyed listening to Jane and Lily's stories. Mitch Albom was a great moderator for this event.

    Great people bad sound

by G. on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

The PA system was right out of the 70’s. There is technology available. Security to get in was way overbearing......and delayed show by 39 minutes.

    Night out with great friends

by Ms Pam on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Great night the only thing I would say is the Microphones needed to be turned up. At times had to hear. I didn’t want to miss anything but did.

    Lily and Jane

by I.maggiesmom on 11/2/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

It was a fun event and a treat to see these two in person. Mitch Albom was a good moderator. Our only complaint was the acoustics. We missed a lot of dialogue because it was hard to decipher.

I could have listened all night to these two women riff off each other. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
