  • Perfect!!

    by Shipwrecked1 on 7/24/17Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

This was possibly the best show I've ever been to. Imelda is absolutely amazing and the Paradise is a great place to see her, it's very intimate.

  • Another great show!

Imelda and her band were amazing--love the new music and she played a couple of older tunes too, which we appreciated!! Can't wait until she comes to Boston again and for more new music!

She is an angel, a beautiful voice and sweet seductive moves all rolled into one. Her band is on fire. Imelda doesn't stop, she is absolutely Fabulous! She got the crowd going and held it in her hand.

Imelda's beautiful voice really came through with change in her style of music. I loved the old Imelda, but her new stuff is excellent in a different way. Her acoustic of The Girl I Used to Be was moving.

  • Imelda May at the Paradise in Boston

by CaptainNemo on 6/29/17Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

When I purchased the tickets I could see that it was General Admission but thought there would be seats first come first serve, but there was only standing room, and from start to finish I ended up standing over four hours. We got there at 6:30 thinking the doors would open at 7 and we would get a good seat, but we stood and waited until 8 when an opening act that had not been billed came on and played for an hour. Imelda May came on at 9:15 by which time I had been standing almost three hours, then stood for the show for about an hour and left, did not want to stand any longer. Imelda May and her band were FANTASTIC but beware of the Paradise trying to squeeze as many people into the venue as possible and then stretching the time until the main act for as long as possible to sell as many drinks as possible. I had never been to the Paradise before and would never go back. Would love to see Imelda May again, though--she is just incredibly talented and beautiful as well. I really don't know why such a great talent was even booked into a dump like that--she deserves better and so do her fans.

  • Amazing Show

  • Imelda May is fantasic

by WATE on 6/29/17Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

We went to the meet and greet and Imelda May is so personable and gracest. I asked her to autograph a picture to my granddaughter and told her that she is 10 and would have liked to come see her. This is the 2nd time I have seen her and my husband has seen her 3 times. Her set was fantasic, she has very high energy. She went from one song right into another one. Her band was very tight even though it was a new band from the last time my husband saw her. I do wish she was around more often.

  • Another spectacular performance!

4th time seeing her. Always entertaining and has a great new band! She has reinvented herself a bit and her new songs are more rock and ballads vs the rockabilly she did in the beginning. She's just getting better. Took time to shake everyone's hands in the front row. Will definitely check her out whenever she's in town.

She was so good, she almost upstaged Costello. Superb.
