Couldn't tell you who won a single game. God knows if i even watched a minute of action. But i had so much fun dressin fancy with all my 30,000 closest friends. Sevens is the pinnacle of entertainment. Thank you so much ticketmaster
Great rugby and ambiance. A fun and safe event to go to. Great that we got to see both men and women this year. Yeah Vancouver!
So much fun. Already planning to come back next year
Halloween party in March! What more can you ask for? Welcoming and energetic crowds. People from all walks of life and nationalities dancing, singing, and partying together. The concourse camaraderie was epic - marching bands and crazy costumes. Here's hoping we have Vancouver as a venue next year!!
Hsbc Rugby7’s is always a good time. Always fun meeting new people and celebrating all the nations that come to play 👍🏾👍🏾
What a weekend. Great experience from beginning to end. Can’t wait to do it again.
The athletic display was amazing, the crowd was tremendous and everyone had great fun.
The tournament is always great for the level of rugby and catch up with mates. The ticket price is fair, but the beer and food is the biggest gouge ever and it’s putting people off!!! BIG TIME!
If you haven’t watched the 7s game live… you’re definitely missing out. Never a dull moment!
Need more general admission seating with rising prices not everyone can afford Reserved Seating..
Rugby 7's is a great event. I was surprised to see the stadium so empty but hopefully that will be over come next year. I was extremely mad to learn that the Part time workers at BC place don't get tipped out. All tips are given to FT employees. It made me reluctant to buy food and drink inside the stadium and my friends and I left to get what we needed. PT employees are most underpaid and vulnerable. Give them what they're owed! The stadium also has a strict bag policy. If you want to bring in personal items you need a clear bag. Which is not ideal for women in particular. This policy also caused a lot of issues for the day.
The only reason for 4 stars is cause the beer is too expensive otherwise it's a rally fun event. Fast games so many conversations in the hallways with total strangers. Maybe the only time I've ever lived in Vancouver over the last 22 years were it's actually fun. Rugby 7s is one of the only events worth paying that much $ for.
Great stadium, fantastic atmosphere, casino attached to the stadium with in and out access for a good portion of each day. If you are a North American rugby fan, Vancouver should be on your list.
I loved the full day of rugby, the scheduling of the games was done really well. The atmosphere was great. Announcers did a good job. It was a wonderful experience. My only complaint is the food. It seemed there was not enough as most stands were out of certain foods. Also, people watching rugby and drinking want things like pizza, pasta, etc. not a meat pie. The food choices were very limited and not good.
Great hospitality, lineups were a little long for food however the rugby action itself, hearing the various countries fans cheering their teams on , the costumes and the whole atmosphere was electric!
Attended the full day from 9am - 7pm. Had a great time from start to finish! Lots of action, good entertainment, and a great vibe. Food was reasonably priced with decent variety; drinks were $10-24 each which was the expensive part of the day! Alcohol sales started at 11am.
I'm honestly not much of a rugby fan but was asked to join a group of friends that were dressing up and it sounded fun so we decided to join in. We were honestly blown away! The atmosphere was electric, the costumes were amazing & the rugby was incredibly exciting. 7's are a great way to enjoy the game if you don't really consider yourself a fan. We'll definitely be putting more effort into our costumes next year because the experienced goers definitely set that bar high!
I've attended a number of high level international rugby sevens tournaments. This was my first time at BC Place. This was one of best viewing experiences for rugby sevens that I've ever had. As well as the comfortable climate, with the roof of the stadium being closed, the seating was unexpectedly accommodating. I'm a fairly good sized person and I had more than enough leg room and seating room. Additionally, even from the general admission seats the viewing of the field was really good, never. mind the giant big screen suspended from the center of the stadium. Then there was the rugby. International Rugby Sevens is amazing to watch. The speed and athleticism of the athletes is incredible. In Rugby Sevens it is always easy to see the ball and see the play. I'll be back next year.
Only thing I would like to say is the Americans should be allowed to print their emailed tickets at their home rather than coming down there a day before just to pick up the tickets.
