Hozier is one of the most successful folk artists of the 21st century. Born Andrew Hozier-Byrne, the Irish singer-songwriter first toured internationally as a member of the Irish vocal group Anúna before going solo in 2012. His watershed moment came a year later when his first single, “Take Me to Church” was released. In 2014, it rose to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and ushered in Hozier’s self-titled debut, which itself reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200. “Take Me to Church” closed 2014 as Spotify’s most-shared song of the year and garnered Hozier’s first career Grammy nomination for Song of the Year. His 2019 sophomore full-length, Wasteland Baby!, topped the Billboard 200 and was supported by Hozier’s first solo headlining world tour. In 2023, Hozier released his third album, Unreal Unearth. Throughout his career, Hozier has collaborated with artists such as Mavis Staples, Annie Lennox, Maren Morris, Noah Kahan, Brandi Carlile and composer Bear McCreary.

Hozier was pretty amazing. He sounded better live than he does on his album. Very talented singer and you can't help but enjoy the irish
Venue was perfect. I had general admission and I was afraid that I would have no chance of being front row, but I was! They give everyone a fair chance. Hozier was incredible!!!!! The band was amazing. Everyone put on a spectacular show. I'm so happy I went.
The opening act Low Roar was terrible and the only reason this wasn't rated 5 stars.
Hozier put on a great concert and the venue was very nice
Loved the Hozier concert April 16! He and his band seemed pleased to be playing San Francisco & their music showed it. Absolutely divine!
I wasn't sure what to expect from this show. I knew I liked Hozier's voice and figured it was worth hearing in person. He had a couple of pop sounding songs at the beginning that I wasn't super into, but his set was pretty diverse. His songs included influences from blues, funk, and folk. His guitar playing style was unique. I didn't find the venue to be very comfortable. I think I liked the Masonic better before the renovations.
Really enjoyed Hozier! Class act. Great music, but what I think I appreciated most was his interaction with the audience. I always appreciate an artist who appreciates his fans and gives due credit to his band and crew. Hozier is the real deal!
He did an amazing job! He was flawless. Not only did he play his entire album but did four additional songs as an encore. He sounds amazing live, which is why I went to go see him. The band, sound, and lighting of the venue was also perfection. Hozier was incredibly gracious and thanked everyone countless times. They did a good job organizing the event there were no issues getting in.
hozier is an amazing live act and i was happy i got to see him perform!
After only really listening to Hoziers debut album a few times I decided that it warranted a visit to his live performance. I could not have made a better decision. While his recordings were entertaining, showing some commercial attempts and several creative renditions, the heartfelt love performance is where it is at for this young lad. His increasing confidence and humble stage presence show that this musician is the real deal. From the order that he played his songs in to the attention to detail and story telling that were included, I felt that I enjoyed this concert as much as my favorite concert of all time. Give him a shot when he visits your town and be pleasantly surprised by a rocking good time.
Sounded awesome live. Great range in vocals and sounded just as sharp as the album
Take Hozier's album and make it 10 times better and that's exactly what his live performances are! Humble and engaged with the audience, focusing on the music. The entire band is very talented and his guitar ability and vocals in the famous Ryman are incredible! I can't wait for him to perform at Memphis in May.
Hozier Brilliant Performance..................................
Opening act george ezra was on point! he has a really cool vibe while performing. Always loved him and it was great seeing him live. Hozier was amazing and the atmosphere in the room was priceless!
AMAZING…even with the lady by us passed out and puking on herself!
I can't imagine anyone not enjoying his performance. He is the real deal.
I am so glad we got to see Hozier in such an intimate setting before he hits all of the festivals this summer. He did not disappoint!!! He sounded fantastic and had a well rounded set list. No complaints and I enjoyed his stories about a few of the songs.
Saw Hozier and George Ezra on 3/17 and it was an amazing concert start to finish. The Ryman is a beautiful, historic venue and I'm so happy we saw the concert there.
Hozier is a truly gifted musician. Unexpected great show!
