About
Born out of 2020's COVID isolation, Houseplant has grown into a genre-fluid force, merging improvisational spirit, indie-rock storytelling, lush psychedelic soundscapes, and groove-driven rhythm. Defined by hypnotic grooves, collaborative jams, and lyrical depth, the Louisville-based band has evolved from local buzz to national intrigue.
With the addition of drummer Ben Atkind (formerly of Goose), the group enters a new chapter, fueled by fresh chemistry and a shared commitment to thoughtful songwriting and exploratory, high-energy live performance.
