We knew it would be different since it was at a smaller than normal venue. But we still expected a production. Instead, it had most acts with one person only. There wasn't a theme. There wasn't any transition between acts. All but 2 acts were disappointing. Amatuer. Boring. Without the showmanship of a Cirque performance. Overall, the cast was only on for under 90 minutes. At least 30 minutes of that was filter - an elf trying to distract you from what they were doing to setup for the next act and a snow princess with a light show. Don't waste your money!
Cirque Soleil was fabulous as always. The light show was amazing. I really enjoyed the variation on the classic Christmas music. The between performance person was extremely entertaining. I have only two negative comments. Ovens Auditorium has a bar that runs across the mezzanine, that keeps the audience from seeing the stage directly. In addition I didn't care for the 15 minute intermission/bathroom break.
We have seen several Cirque shows in the past. This one was obviously scaled down in set design, the overall number of performers and talent of some of the performers. Many were good and the clown was hysterical but overall, the show was a B-, when we were expecting an A+.
Bring your entire family and prepare to be amazed! I hope thos show returns next year, its one you don't want to miss!
Kids really enjoyed the show! It was like a talent show and themed Christmas! It was fun, exciting, thrilling and lovely! The kids and adults had a blast! Will go again!
Had a great time with my daughter we laughed and enjoyed the whole experience but popcorn and drinks and even cotton candy was quite expensive for a family event can’t imagine if I had a bunch of kids what the cost of the night would be lol and couldn’t find any merchandise to commemorate the event
So disappointing. Went with the family (4 of us) to see the show. I’ve seen other Cirque shows and they were great. This was a huge disappointment. Not to mention the price tag that was attached to the show, which would have been realistic had this show been anywhere near as good as past Cirque shows.
I was very disappointed in the show. There was very little of the “spectacular” acrobatics that is usually a “given” at a Cirque show. To be honest, I felt like I was watching something you’d see at a child’s birthday party. Bike and scooter tricks, a magician and a very flexible gymnast is fine for children but when I pay $95 for a show, I would expect to see much more.
Not at all what I expected it wasn’t even a cirque knock off. No oh’s and ah’s, no razzle dazzle, no ‘take my breath away’ moments - just low end entertainment and comedic attempts. Not worth the money.
My niece and I were 10 rows back on the floor and we could not see the stage. Missed out watching half the show behind peoples head.
Was expecting more of a Cirque du Soliel on Ice, especially for the price of tickets. It was ok though. It was more of a group of talented buskers doing their acts/shows indoors.
This was such a bad show. Very little actual talent/show and lots of time wasted. We actually left half way through and it was my moms idea who; we went there for her birthday.
There were individual performances that were incredible, but the show itself was not the polished, exciting spectacle that Cirque du Soleil is known for. The set was very basic, and the storyline and dialogue were not engaging. It just seemed to be disjointed. Sadly, we would not recommend this particular show.
Amateur magic tricks. Only 2 talented performers. Small cast. Much to expensive for the quality of the show using the word cirque in the name was misleading as the show did not come close to cirque de soleil
My 7 year old granddaughter liked the action parts of it but the rest was boring for both of us. The only thing Christmasy was that the performers were dressed as elves. The music was vaguely Christmasy as well. During one song my granddaughter said it was “creepy music” and scary. Not worth it.
The show itself was pretty good (what we could see). We had 10 row floor seats and could not see very much of the show. At intermission we asked to be moved and once we were moved to seats on the side of the arena and could see the show it was good.
We had floor seats, and unfortunately the stage needed to be higher. We could not see the acts that were low on the stage. The child infront was struggling to see the show too.
This was a very interesting Circ show, BMX and Scooters, magic tricks, and some acrobatics.
This should be for ages 3-12 on a Sunday afternoon not a date night out.
