My family and I traveled from the Phila area to Hershey for the long weekend. We planned to go to the Hershey Bears game the week before. We were luck to get 4 seats together. We got seats in 224 and they were very good, even though we were 2 rows from the top of the stadium we could see everything. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Aside from the horrible display of hockey by the Bears players, the game was still worth attending. The Checkers played better than the Bears that night. Minor league hockey is still a good time though. The Giant Center isn't too expensive in regards to the cost of food and beverages. I wish that the price of parking was included in the ticket or maybe even free.
It was the first live hockey game my kids and I have been too. The facility was great and clean and well set up. the parking was easy and getting in and out was low stress. And the Hershey chocolate upon exit was a sweet touch. The Bears lost but it was still a good time. Are planning to come again before the end of the season. Oh yeah ticket purchase was a breeze.
Great venue for some good hockey! Convienent, resaonably priced and fun!
Great hockey game. Sold out crowd, but easy to get into Giant Arena & easy to get out. We sat 5th row from the top of the arena (only seats available) & thought the view was great. Food & drink options aplenty. We made the drive from No. VA & made a weekend out of it with a quick Hershey tour Saturday & the game Saturday night- stayed at Spring Hill Suites (about 2 miles from Giant Arena). Got up Sunday & stopped at Liberty on the way back to ski & snowboard. The entire weekend cost about the same as good seats to a Caps game for my family of 5.
The Bears will alittle shaky at times but they got it together and started playing like the champions that they are.
Really enjoyed the hockey game on Feb 12... the place was very well managed and clean... There was plenty of food variety to pick from as well as many different beer brands. Will make plans to attend again in the near future. Thanks again for the great night out!
The bears gave a good fight. We lost the game but I blame alot of that on several bad calls from the refs.
Had a great time. Got tickets for my boyfriend for our 5 year anniversary. We had a great time and he really enjoyed the game. The venue is very nice and cleaner than other arenas I have been to. Unfortunately the Bears lost but we did get a free little Hershey chocolate bar on our way out! Would definitely go again. B-E-A-R-S!!!!
Very good game and even had a good hockey "fight!"
It was cool seeing the overtime plays and Shoot Out.
We went for a weekend away and to see some of the Washington Capitals young players (or old player if you include Sheldon Souray). Loved Hershey! Great people and very friendly atmosphere but very reserved. I will say that the Bears chant after a goal was cool. We see about 7 Caps games a year and its terribly hard to get reasonably priced tickets. Since they are sold out you have to get scalped by season ticket holders allow and sponsored by the team itself. So the Hershey Bears game was a great value. The fans were very nice people. The hot dogs were among the best I have ever had. I just missed the speed of the game and the raucous crowd you find at a Capitals game.
We have been to several Hershey Bears games and we totally enjoy them. The only negative thing about Hershey is the cost you have to pay to park and eat there. TOTALLY Ridiculous! How can a family of four afford one of these events?

The seats that I checked for online using the seating chart was not the same as where they put us. Otherwise, great game! We love the Bears!
First ice hockey game for my 14 year old son. Great seats & exciting game! Hershey fans are the best!
Hershey is definitely one of the class organizations in the American Hockey League. I am an Amerks fan from way back, but the Bears organization really knows what they are doing. Lots of convenient parking. Beautiful buliding. Nice selection of refreshments. I would say that the only downside is that you have to pay to park. Of course I didn't pay, it was not obvious to me that I had to stop. If there was a sign, it was either too busy, small print, or hidden by snow. Just about every other place that I pay to park, they make it obvious BEFORE I go in that I am expected to pay. The 2 or 3 cars in front of me didn't stop at the booth, so neither did I. Just glad they didn't hunt me down and tow my car during the game.
Make this trip once a year. Had an excellent time. Not a bad seat in the arena.
the game was postponed one day, but the bears played well. their energy level was OK but this game was the first of three games in three days. I was amazed that Ticketmaster emailed us with information on the game postponement, good service on their end.
