I have mixed feelings about this performance, which is why I gave it 4 stars. On one hand, the orchestra was SO good that I tended to forget they were there and I just got caught up in the movie. On another hand, it was fun to watch them play when I remembered this was a live show!
If you have instrumentalists in your family, it's really fun to watch. We sat about 3 rows behind the sound box, at the back of the orchestra. It was a pretty good place to clearly see the screen, that was high enough up for shorter people (like me!) to not have the heads in front of you in the way.
I walked down to Row C, where my original seats were (I had switched), and there you were really only able to see the musicians in the front row as the orchestra was higher up on the stage, which made it harder to see those in the back. I guess the best place to sit may have been 1st mezzanine, on the side so that you are higher AND closer to the stage.
