Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (NY) Tickets

Lyric Theater, all-star cast, incredible magical effects, all contributed to best experience on Broadway in awhile.

Going into Harry Potter & the Cursed Child, I knew I loved the storyline having read the screenplay. But I was completely shocked at how much the stage brought the story to life! The effects were truly magical, better than I ever expected on the live stage. I was mesmerized throughout both parts to say the least! Not to mention how uniquely decorated the Lyric Theater was.

Exceeded expectations in every way and if your tickets do not include the Ambassador lounge access, pay for it it's worth it.

I’m not a Harry Potter fan, but took my family because my kids love it. I have to admit, the show was absolutely amazing. It didn’t feel like I was watching a play. I would definitely recommend this performance

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was nothing short of amazing! We flew to New York to see it, seeing Part One on Thursday and Part Two on Friday. The special effects and stage changes were truly like magic and left you wondering how they did it! There were so many times my girlfriend and I looked at each other with open mouths in disbelief of how they pulled it off. The acting was phenomenal, and of course the plot was exciting and left you intrigued! The energy of the audience was also really exciting, as everyone collectively reacted to the different dialogue and actions in the show (clapping, gasping, cheering, etc). I highly recommend going to see this show! We are actually already talking about going again!

So wonderful to see all the Potter characters come alive. The special effects were excellent. I have heard people say it was a weak storyline because they read the play. I say reading a script and seeing it come alive on stage is entirely different. Also keep inmind the Potter series was a childrens story that all us gron ups fell in love with. The message is far more relevant for a child than a grown up. I have bee goinv to live theater in NY and London for years and this rates in my top 5.

The show has some awesome spectacles and some jarring moments which I think made it worth it. The play is too long in that it is packed with drawn out scenes where the extra time doesn’t actually serve a purpose to the story. Just wish the show were the appropriate length and well written without the number of plot holes or lack of believable character motivation. I’m a huge HP fan, but can only recommend this show for the spectacle and onstage illusions.

The special effects were fantastic! And all of the actors were great and extremely talented!

I enjoyed part one a lot. It had many special effects and the story moved at a good pace. Part two was pretty slow and had very little magic and for me the show was anti climatic. Would recommend if you have a extreme potter fan in your group. Everyone else might enjoy it a little less.

From the very start, the theater itself was amazing, not a bad seat anywhere. As for the show, words cannot describe this production. Probably the best show I have ever seen (and I have seen a few). The special effects where outstanding, such as the set resonating during the time warp, the transformations of the characters right before your eyes, the whole theater being used to draw everyone in. Would love to see it again!!!!

An exciting experience to revisit the HP world with a new perspective. Different from the movie setting but also refreshing. For those who have not read the play before the story is not as rich as the series but good enough to grab us. The acting and effects very nice. Time flies during the performances and the theatre setting is very nice.

Great show. You don't have to be familiar with Harry Potter, but it makes it a better experience. Actors were great. We really liked the actor playing Scorpius. Great follow on to the series. So many tricks and illusions on stage make you scratch your head, and brings you into the show. We had a great time.

Everything the theatre should be. An appreciation for what the audience knows and what can surprise. A sparkling combination of dazzling effects, sleight of hand magic and compelling characters

The special effects and details were simply amazing. My friends and I left in complete awe. This is a must see, even bring non potter heads because they will love this too!

We saw this show in London and it was fantastic, but we were in the upper balcony. This time, in NYC, we were in the 7th row! Wow! Can I give it 5 1/2 stars?!?

The facilities were exceptional, the decorations for each part were outstanding and pretty amazing!!!! They make you feel like you’re at Harry Potter world lol. The play itself was marvelous and like watching a movie live! The effects they used were unbelievable and dope!!! Definitely going to watch it again!
