HARRY CONNICK, JR.
Harry Connick, Jr.’s career has exemplified excellence across multiple platforms in the entertainment world over the past three decades. He has received Grammy and Emmy awards as well as Tony nominations for his live and recorded musical performances, his achievements in film and television and his appearances on Broadway as both an actor and a composer. Connick continues to establish himself as a best-selling musician, singer, composer, and a legendary live performer with millions of recordings sold around the world.
The foundation of Connick’s art is the music of his native New Orleans, where he began performing as a pianist and vocalist at the age of five. Highlights of his music career include several multi-platinum recordings such as “When Harry Met Sally,” “Blue Light, Red Light (Someone’s There)”, “When My Heart Finds Christmas,” “Come By Me, and “Only You.” His debut album on legendary Verve Records, his new label home, titled True Love: A Celebration of Cole Porter was released in 2019 and which coincided with performances on Broadway at the Nederlander Theatre in a show he wrote and directed: Harry Connick, Jr.- A Celebration of Cole Porter honoring the musical achievements of one of America’s most respected songwriters, Cole Porter. In 2020 as the country entered the pandemic lockdown, he retreated to his home studio and emerged with an album of songs of faith and inspiration. ALONE WITH MY FAITH, released during the spring of 2021 displays the sheer breadth of Connick’s talents as he wrote new songs, arranged all songs, played every instrument, and sang every voice.
Connick has appeared in 20 feature films with actors such as Sandra Bullock, Hilary Swank, Renée Zellweger, Sigourney Weaver, and Morgan Freeman. His work on television includes starring roles on Will and Grace, South Pacific and American Idol. He recently hosted the CBS Special UNITED WE SING: A GRAMMY® TRIBUTE TO THE UNSUNG HEROES, honoring essential workers in the pandemic. In 2016, he launched Harry, a national daytime television show, which earned 11 Daytime Emmy nominations, including nominations for best host, and a Critics’ Choice nomination for best talk show. On Broadway, Connick received Tony nominations as both a lead actor in The Pajama Game and as a composer/lyricist for Thou Shalt Not.
Despite his busy career, Connick has always found the time to be charitable and has done some of his most important work in his efforts to help New Orleans after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. He, along with friend Branford Marsalis, conceived of “Musicians’ Village,” and its centerpiece the Ellis Marsalis Center. Musicians’ Village provides homes for Katrina-displaced musicians while the Center uses music as its focal point of a holistic strategy to deliver a broad range of services to underserved children, youth and musicians from neighborhoods battling poverty and social injustice.
Connick’s honors, including a star on the celebrated Hollywood Walk of Fame as part of the 2019 class of Honorees, induction into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame, Honorary Doctorates from Tulane and Loyola Universities and the Jefferson Award for Public Service, have not led Harry Connick, Jr. to slow his creative pace; they only confirm his determination to apply his talents in ways that prove inspirational to other artists and publicly spirited citizens.
What a wonderful show! Harry never fails to deliver, his voice is amazing, the band were incredible, and he’s funny as all hell. A true showman. Thanks for getting us in a Festive mood, would love this to be an annual tradition.

Harry and his band were AMAZING. The lighting at pantages is not the greatest. I had pretty good seats, row p and I couldn’t see Harry’s features because the light on him was awe ful. That kind of took from the experience, he literally had a reflector on him. This is the second event I see at the Pantages. Lion King was the same thing. Outdated lighting.
Harry Connick Jr. was charming, funny, and in fantastic voice! We enjoyed the repertoire and the energy of the band as well as the showmanship of Harry.
I’m not a “leave a review person” but I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed this holiday themed performance from HCJ. Went with my family and everyone enjoyed. You can feel he really loves what he does through his craft.
Harry Connick Jr is a total performer ( sings and plays piano ) He has a great stage personality and wow the audience with his humble demeanor and charming Southern gentlemen’s manners.
Harry Conick Jr did not disappoint at all. This was my first time enjoying his music. I would absolutely go to another show of his.

Harry is so incredibly talented and so real. You can tell he loves what he does and enjoys working with his band so much. He was funny, informative and did a beautiful tribute to his family that was present. My family who didn’t necessarily like the genre or know Mr. Connick’s music LOVED the concert. Go if you get a chance!!
Harry Connick Jr. was amazing, fun and energetics show. This is my first time seeing him live, and he did not disappoint. The band was amazing and he was on point with every single song. He entertained the whole crowd, got them involved and made them for a really special evening. His tribute to his family and his wife, who were in the crowd was very touching and made the night feel even more special. The mix of his Christmas music and some of his other songs made the show flow really well. The Pantages Theatre was the perfect venue for this show. I would go see him again and again.
Harry snd his band made you feel like you were in a small jazz club. The music was fantastic and the energy was off the hook. Harry told great stories & had us all laughing!
Harry is such a cool, kind and sincere guy. His band is awesome, his piano playing and vocals are impeccable and his stories made us smile. Feel good, amazing concert!

Would love to see him again in concert with less New Orleans jazz and much more singing. Billed as a Christmas Show but needed many more traditional Christmas songs.
The show was great! Harry was interactive and funny and played a number of songs! The crowd really was into it. Even did an encore. The only this I wish is since was advertised as a Christmas concert, it would have been nice to see some decorations on the stage to Lean into the advertised show.
Great Show! So glad Harry Connick Jr brought some Christmas cheer to San Diego. Concert started just a little after 7pm. Fast paste, happy music. A little bit of the crooners best and a lot of Christmas music. Nice stories, silly dad jokes and always thanked his musicians. Harry's voice is still fantastic, and I hope he returns to sing for us again in San Diego, California.
Harry and the venue were superb. Best concert experience in quite a while.
An amazing performance by a group of amazing musicians. With a combination of classic Christmas songs along with a few of his classic standards H.C.Jr. delivered a magical and memorable night. This is definitely a show that you will not want to miss that is enjoyable for the entire family.
