HARRY CONNICK, JR.
Harry Connick, Jr.’s career has exemplified excellence across multiple platforms in the entertainment world over the past three decades. He has received Grammy and Emmy awards as well as Tony nominations for his live and recorded musical performances, his achievements in film and television and his appearances on Broadway as both an actor and a composer. Connick continues to establish himself as a best-selling musician, singer, composer, and a legendary live performer with millions of recordings sold around the world.
The foundation of Connick’s art is the music of his native New Orleans, where he began performing as a pianist and vocalist at the age of five. Highlights of his music career include several multi-platinum recordings such as “When Harry Met Sally,” “Blue Light, Red Light (Someone’s There)”, “When My Heart Finds Christmas,” “Come By Me, and “Only You.” His debut album on legendary Verve Records, his new label home, titled True Love: A Celebration of Cole Porter was released in 2019 and which coincided with performances on Broadway at the Nederlander Theatre in a show he wrote and directed: Harry Connick, Jr.- A Celebration of Cole Porter honoring the musical achievements of one of America’s most respected songwriters, Cole Porter. In 2020 as the country entered the pandemic lockdown, he retreated to his home studio and emerged with an album of songs of faith and inspiration. ALONE WITH MY FAITH, released during the spring of 2021 displays the sheer breadth of Connick’s talents as he wrote new songs, arranged all songs, played every instrument, and sang every voice.
Connick has appeared in 20 feature films with actors such as Sandra Bullock, Hilary Swank, Renée Zellweger, Sigourney Weaver, and Morgan Freeman. His work on television includes starring roles on Will and Grace, South Pacific and American Idol. He recently hosted the CBS Special UNITED WE SING: A GRAMMY® TRIBUTE TO THE UNSUNG HEROES, honoring essential workers in the pandemic. In 2016, he launched Harry, a national daytime television show, which earned 11 Daytime Emmy nominations, including nominations for best host, and a Critics’ Choice nomination for best talk show. On Broadway, Connick received Tony nominations as both a lead actor in The Pajama Game and as a composer/lyricist for Thou Shalt Not.
Despite his busy career, Connick has always found the time to be charitable and has done some of his most important work in his efforts to help New Orleans after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. He, along with friend Branford Marsalis, conceived of “Musicians’ Village,” and its centerpiece the Ellis Marsalis Center. Musicians’ Village provides homes for Katrina-displaced musicians while the Center uses music as its focal point of a holistic strategy to deliver a broad range of services to underserved children, youth and musicians from neighborhoods battling poverty and social injustice.
Connick’s honors, including a star on the celebrated Hollywood Walk of Fame as part of the 2019 class of Honorees, induction into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame, Honorary Doctorates from Tulane and Loyola Universities and the Jefferson Award for Public Service, have not led Harry Connick, Jr. to slow his creative pace; they only confirm his determination to apply his talents in ways that prove inspirational to other artists and publicly spirited citizens.
Everything about this show was spectacular. HCJ sounded great and the band was awesome. We enjoyed every minute of the performance. I enjoyed his music before, but now I am a big fan.

The concert was a Xmas gift from our kids to the family. We all had a fabulous time and just created another memorable memories.
Harry is a true entertainer and his show was excellent! Fun, fast moving and got everyone in the holiday mood! He’s personable and extremely talented, both vocals and piano. We have seen him before, but the Pantages was so intimate it made for the perfect night.
First of the Pantages theatre is the perfect venue to enjoy Harry’s personal interactions, music and jokes. He and his band are spectacular. He played his classics and new holiday music. I look forward to more performances by the one and only Harry Connick Jr
Always been wanting to see Harry live since 1990. And even better that it was at Pantages. The acoustics & ambience just enhanced the performance. Every usher was kind & helpful. Harry & his ensemble rocked the house with wonderful classics with an awesome twist of course... & a few newer tunes that did not disappoint at all! And omgsh I knew Harry had personality but wow!!! He is so charming, charismatic & crazy funny witty! All around great show! One off my bucket list but I'd still love to go to another of his shows!
My husband and I got last minute tickets and we were extremely thankful. Harry Connick Junior and his band are absolutely wonderful! Definitely you don’t want to miss the show!
Quite apart from the festive songs Harry is a great Entertainer, telling funny anecdotes and engaging the audience, truly a very talented man.
Harry Connick Jr. gave a great performance! Played many Christmas songs and old standards. Spoke and joked with the audience. His band was also amazing! The venue (Pantages Theater) was wonderful and sound quality was awesome. If you have a chance to see him, do it!

Harry Connick Jr keeps getting better and better! I’ve seen him perform in person and followed his move and tv career from the start and I’m a happy fan. The Christmas show was truly exhilarating! It was a thrill to be in the audience for that spectacular show - brilliant musicians, Harry’s vocals and charm were on full display and I loved it all!
Harry Connick Jr’s holiday albums are a staple for our family at Christmastime. This concert exceeded our expectations- He was genuine, funny, personable, and entertaining. The band was incredibly talented. My daughter and I commented that we felt like we were at a cozy party at someone’s house- so welcoming. Thanks for a great evening.
This is the first time I've seen Connick Jr. in concert, and I was floored. He, and his band members, were fantastic. They are in sync, share a love for music, and their skill with their respective instruments is unmatched. I had the best time!
Harry Connic Jr. was great. He is funny and personal. The theater is beautiful. The staff were so nice. I am 6’5” and the seats were a tight fit. But overall quite comfortable.
This is the third time I've seen him perform live, always superb, the best in entertainment, comedy and music. This was the funniest he's been.
Harry is beyond talented - exceptional on the piano, including his amazing band with a fabulous drummer, cellist & saxophone player. Energetic performance, jazzy Christmas music, and he engages with the audience as if we're in his home living room.
Harry knows how to swing, and he knows who he wants swinging with him - he was outstanding, and his musicians were memorably great! It was thrilling when they wound themselves up and let it go - I don’t doubt many in the audience are planning trips to New Orleans to hear more great infectious music. Harry is so comfortable and affable onstage, his crooning is sincere and his playing is world class. See him if you haven’t, see him again if you have. A fun, wonderful and exciting evening!
