Happy Together Tour in Concert
When the Happy Together Tour rolls into town, a beautiful kind of magic trick occurs. For just a little while, the cares of the current world seem somehow to melt away as the sound of a free, colorful era long gone rises up in the air once more. It gives us all a glimpse of what it was like to live in that golden moment of the 1960s, when the glorious vocal harmonies of The Turtles and their contemporaries came bursting out of just about every radio and jukebox in America.
When Turtles frontmen Flo & Eddie — and the rest of their '60s pop/rock compatriots on the bill — step up to the microphone, the years melt away as the hits of the Aquarian Age come back around. It's enough to make even the most jaded listener believe in the possibilities of flower power again, for at least as long as the concert lasts.
Happy Together Tour Background
Few bands embody the spirit of classic '60s pop like The Turtles, fronted by the legendary Flo & Eddie, aka Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan. A quintessential exponent of the summery-sounding, harmony-heavy "sunshine pop" coming out of the West Coast in the mid-to-late '60s, The Turtles stamped their name on pop/rock history forevermore with indelible hits like "She'd Rather Be With Me," "You Showed Me," "Elenore," and, of course, the immortal "Happy Together."
In 1984, Flo & Eddie mounted the first Happy Together tour, bringing the sounds of the '60s to a new era on a bill with The Association and other like-minded peers. Over the years, a lofty list of '60s heroes have joined The Turtles on the tour, including The Cowsills, The Buckinghams, Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night, and The Classics IV, giving contemporary audiences a taste of that old-school magic.

Loved the entire show! Everyone was so entertaining
Wow the talent of these entertainers! I loved every minute of the show!
Just a perfect show. So much fun seeing these classic performers still out there giving it their all. The accompanying band added a lot to the show.
Was surprised how well everyone sounded. Of course everyone has lost a few steps, but still the music was great. Want a throwback to yester year then go to this concert! Enjoyed every minute.
Really enjoy this era of music…..happy that these guys are still willing to play for us!
We were there for our 50th wedding anniversary ❤. It was a great show, we really enjoyed it. Great location, we are going next year with our daughter.
Really enjoyed the evening. Music was great and such a fun crowd.
Love energy about the Happy Together consert. Great original talents take you back to your youth.. Great, fun time.. The singers sound amazing and are so appreciative. If only there were more bands and lasted a little longer.. Family arena is a very nice, safe environment.Love it.
The artists brought beautiful memories! Great music performed well! Love, loved it!
I have seen the Happy Together show many times and it never disappoints.
I was worried when I got to the concert. I was not able to print my ticket but thankfully it was waiting for me. The show was fantastic like I knew it would be.
I truly enjoyed every act and thank all of the artists for making a great evening great. Much thanks to Ron for joining in and best wishes to Howard. Look forward to seeing everyone next year too! All of these artists are truly amazing and might I add, the backing band and their vocals deserve a full acknowledgement, they were superb. Kudos to the keyboard/synth player, and the wind instruments were stellar. (saxaphones and horn).
What a great time. This is the second one we’ve been to. And I have enjoyed both. I take the time to talk to you and to interact with you. We will probably go again.
One of the best concerts ever!! Little Anthony stole the show as well as the Turtles. A must see!!!!
Can’t wait till next year!!! Loved every moment! Especially the thestre.
It was a blast and a flashback to the 60’s. I think a Motown review from that era would work really well with your clientele.
Great evening and so much fun to hear the music of my teenage years and beyond. The songs brought back so many good memories. Everyone was singing and laughing. Will catch it next year too.
I couldn’t believe the energy of the Cowsills and the great voices of the Vogues. The Classics 4 and Gary Pucket have lost much of their voices. All in all, it was fun to go back to our youth.
Enjoyed the concert . The Cowsells were great as were the Vogues and Lil Anthony. Gary Puckett was okay as he let the audience sing all the Melodie’s ( his voice shows 50 years of use), the Classic’s five ( actually two ) was in the same area as Gary Puckett, the turtles were good as the former lead singer of the Archie’s ( and now turtles) keep everyone on key . The original Turtle you can see is fighting his dementia sickness but he gave it his all. Overall it was enjoyable, as some of these acts may have reached the end of the concert road. But the songs brought back great memories of a great time ! Long live the Happy together tour !!!!!
