My Shot

HAMILTON is the story of America then, told by America now. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, HAMILTON has taken the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre--a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education.
With book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, HAMILTON is based on Ron Chernow's acclaimed biography. It has won Tony®, Grammy®, and Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and an unprecedented special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors.

Have seen Hamilton a few times. It is always enjoyable, but I particularly loved the energy of this cast. :) I also liked the smaller venue. It was more intimate and energetic.

Best musical I have ever attended‼️ The singing was absolutely amazing!
Of course the show was STELLAR! It's the best musical ever made. Fantastic writing. Awesome hip-hop music. The orchestra was on point. The performances we top notch. I wish I could see it over and over. As I cannot, I will continue to watch it on Disney+ and listen on Spotify. Cheers!
Took our daughter to see it and she loved it . She was so excited to meet the cast outside after the show but the cop with the dog yelled "whoa whoa whoa , where are you going ? " as we were walking beside the trailer on the sidewalk and he told us to wait across the street, where we could see the actors walk out the back door and leave . Only one person ( Phillip ) walked across the street to meet the 10 teenage girls that were waiting by the bus where the cop told everyone to go. Great show except for that .
Musically entertaining. The performers were incredibly talented and I loved the set which included a center stage rotation that added to the choreography and seamless set changes. However there were 3 things that bothered me 1) Jefferson was anything but "flamboyant", & combative 2) Jefferson & Hamiltodidn't always agree, were not the enemy's portrayed 3) Yes Hamilton was against slavery as were others, but he wasn't a vocal advocate. I understand creative licensing for entertainment, but I feel the over exaggerating was culturally harmful to those who may not remember (or have not been taught) much about Hamilton.
everything was magnificent, my congratulations to the casting director he was very successful, Mr. Burr excellent acting excellent voice; It is an incredible experience and I would pay back to see it

The show was awesome! The staff at the theater was friendly and helpful. The cast of the show was amazing.
I love this musical and this cast did it justice. It was beautifully done.
Another beautiful performance of Hamilton in the amazing setting of the Majestic in San Antonio. The cast and crew blew us away with their artistic genius and dedicated hard work. This cast, including the standby in the role of Hamilton, delivered a heart felt performance that left the crowd both cheering and silent as they were drawn into this masterful performance. Thank you to all who made this possible.
From start to finish. Just a great performance. The cast did not slack anywhere and appeared to really give it their best. The voices were amazing and they did it all while dancing. Quite an amazing show and I would love to come back or recommend anyone to watch it live!
The play Hamilton was excellent. The performers were top notch. They performed at the same level as the original cast members on Broadway. The venue was very disappointing. There was constant distraction in the theater by allowing patrons to eat and drink during the performance. Which in turn people getting out of their seats to use the restrooms and purchase more drinks during the performance. Will not go to another play at the Majestic for this reason.

It is always a magical time when you watch a live show at the Majestic Theater, and this Hamilton touring group was one of the best! If you get a chance to see Marcus Choi as George Washington, buy that ticket!!!
I’ve seen Hamilton 3 times… and this performance rivals Broadway (2nd cast- didn’t see original cast). The company at the Majestic did AMAZING work! Jefferson stole the show… but all the cast did an MAJESTIC job! and if you dont know…now you know! 😁 Go see it!
Finally got to enjoy this much talked about musical. It did not disappoint. The cast was so entertaining and vocals were superb. I support more history lessons in this form.
