HAMILTON is the story of America then, told by America now. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, HAMILTON has taken the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre--a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education.
With book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, HAMILTON is based on Ron Chernow's acclaimed biography. It has won Tony®, Grammy®, and Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and an unprecedented special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors.

This play was so very moving It took me back to history class in a good way The only thing was the double characters, Lafayette to Thomas Jefferson, I was so confused. Other than that you will have a great time
This is the 3rd time I've seen Hamilton. The whole production was phenomenal. I went on the 2nd to last day of the tour. The cast's performance was top notch!
So glad to see this in person. It was very well casted and performed. The fluidity of set/prop changes was astounding. Only downside, there were times the theater acoustics drowned out the actors' voices.
Beautiful show, the sound, and visuals were great. We absolutely loved it!
I went to see Hamilton with my daughter. She can recite the whole musical. I found the theatrical performance by all cast was amazing.
it was something I wasn't expecting. Fun and exciting. Definitely something different. Would go to watch multiple times.
Loved it!!! What I will say, others should be considerate of those around them. We don't want to hear the person sitting next to us singing or making all sorts of motions. We all came to WATCH & HEAR the musical!!!
I was extremely impressed with the performance. The set was amazing and every actor did a superb job. The performances were beautiful. I was very lucky to have attended. Thank you.
Original Broadway cast who? Our show in San Antonio had the understudy for Hamilton and he was the only Alexander Hamilton I want to see.
Great seats in a great theater! Hamilton is a MUST see!
First play I have been to at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio and "Hamilton"was absolutely AMAZING! Every actor/singer was FABULOUS!! I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it . . .needs to.
This was the best performance we’ve ever seen! I was absolutely blown away by the incredible cast.
Finally seeing Hamilton live was an absolutely amazing experience! I've always loved going to The Majestic theater for several different performances tjeough the years. I was able to take my teen daughter who has been obsessed with Hamilton for years. It was postponed due to covid, so this was a long awaited event. My husband, myself, and my daughter all loved it!
Great seats! Thank God I waited till last minute! Paid a quarter of the price! First half of the show was frustrating because the young ladies behind me were singing quite loudly. I was not a fan of the man who played Hamilton, but it made it interesting because I actually felt bad for Burr! Other than that, pretty good chemistry between the cast. Schuyler sisters were great! Always love Jefferson/Lafayette, and I really liked Hercules Mulligan! Overall great show. Venue is nice, but slightly inefficient. Also started late with no explanation, but the show always goes on!
The actors, dancers, and musicians were all stellar. I was next to a couple who were not familiar with the music or story and had a hard time following. A couple of actors sometimes spoke too softly and/or the music would swell and drown out their voices. Because I’m familiar with the music and story, it didn’t bother me, but that with the speed of the rapping made it hard for my neighbors. Otherwise, no notes. Fantastic show!
It was so so so good. I really enjoyed it! The cast played their characters wonderfully, and the lighting that they did for certain parts was so cool!! I had loads of fun watching, and would go so many more times if I could!!
The show was amazing, the theater is beautiful. That said, for the love of ALL THAT IS HOLY please find a solution to the limited bathroom situation!! I, and at least 40 other women on my level alone, missed 15-30 minutes of act two because there were a total of about 8 stalls (4 on my level) between two bathrooms for several hundred women to use during intermission. There MUST be a way to tastefully renovate the theater to accommodate the number of guests.
This hip hop version of the play was really difficult to understand at times. Rapping was too fast and at times unclear as to what they were saying.
Such a great show!!! A must watch even if you’re not a fan of Broadway shows!!!
