This production was amazing!! I surprised my daughter for her 12th birthday with tickets. She is obsessed with Hamilton. She knows all the songs. I wasn’t sure I would enjoy it as much as others. I loved!
I don't know how the New York/Broadway version could be any better. Had fabulous Dress circle seats, a great audience, and an amazing experience. Had heard there can be audio issues at the Boston Opera House. Not so. The cast - amazing. The storyline - engulfing. Music, lyrics, and choreography beyond anything I expected. All integrated with the lighting, movement of the stage, and changing of props by the cast for an immersive experience. Opera house staff - always-on. Made an easy in, taken right to our seats and escorted out for an exit, My only negative input regards the fund drive and product sale pitch at the end – it was a bit well, unwelcomed after such an amazing experience. I would have preferred details included in the Program and perhaps by the Opera House staff on the way in or out.
Seats were in Balcony, really not bad, we could see everything! Love the theatre (Opera House), grew up around there.. Hamilton was awesome! I have seen it 4 times! My grandaughter has seen it twice and knows every song! Great experience!
I’m not a big Broadway fan, but I loved “Hamilton.” Great book, great performances, great staging!
Incredible show and much more choreography than when we saw it a few years ago. Loved it!
The cast and the show was amazing, excellent performance. The opera house sound system or crew working on this show could use improvement. There were several times where it sounded like some of the speakers were blown out or a mic was turned down too low and then popped back up, as if the sound crew suddenly remembered to turn that cast member's mic up. Also, the volume of some of the main cast members were too low in comparison to the ensemble. Very distracting. However, the cast killed it and was an overall enjoyable performance!
The touring company of Hamiltion was amazing! Although I have seen the version on Disney that didn’t hold a candle to the live performance. The music, lyrics and choreography were outstanding.
We were a group of 8 - we rented a van and after stopping for dinner on the way, made our way from Cape Cod to this historic theater. We sat in Orchestra left and it was wonderful. This cast was so talented and worked well together. First time for all of us and we were so pleased!! Comfortable seats and marvelous we will remember FOREVER. Lin Manuel Miranda is brilliant.
The whole family enjoyed this production of Hamilton. The production value was top notch, all the players were phenomenal with great voices making it their own.
One of the best things I have ever seen, after the births of my children. History, humanity, and art spun together in the most genius way. I would have to see it again 100 times to catch every nuance. BRAVO!
